… And also states they are very comfortable meeting with the Islamic terror group. Well, at least they are open about it now.
(Via WFB) The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.

State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki claimed last week that the controversial delegation of key Brotherhood leaders and allies had been “organized and funded by Georgetown University.”
However, the university denied this is the case when reached by the Washington Free Beacon.
Psaki clarified her original comments made on Jan. 29 during a Monday meeting with reporters. (more…)

(Washington Times) The chairman of a special House committee created to investigate the 2012 Benghazi tragedy on Monday instructed his staff to review secretly recorded tapes and intelligence reports that detail Hillary Rodham Clinton’s role in advocating and executing the war in Libya, opening the door for a possible expansion of his probe.

Rep. Trey Gowdy’s decision to seek a review of the materials, first highlighted in a series of Washington Times stories last week, carries consequences for the 2016 election in which Mrs. Clinton is expected to seek the presidency. It could also move the committee to examine the strained relationship between the State Department and Pentagon, which sharply disagreed over the 2011 war in Libya and the response to the terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi a year later.
The Times reported last week that U.S. intelligence did not support Mrs. Clinton’s story of an impending genocide in Libya that she used to sell the war against Moammar Gadhafi’s regime. The newspaper also unveiled secretly recorded tapes from Libya that showed that the Pentagon and Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich so distrusted her stewardship of the war that they opened their own diplomatic channels with the Gadhafi regime. You can’t make this stuff up. Ashley Judd actually believes Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate for President since Thomas Jefferson or George Washington.
Based on ‘what’ exactly? An ideological first lady who leveraged her political influence into a New York Senate bid, which led to an actual presidential campaign based on absolutely ZERO executive experience; which immediately created an appointment to become the most failed person executing foreign policy as Secretary of State.
Anyone remember the WikiLeaks Cable leaks/controversy in her first years’ tenure?… Which led to an entire wasted year of diplomatic apology…. Then came the Libyan fiasco which led to Benghazi…. etc. And we cannot forget the support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt….. What exactly would anyone call a success during Hillary’s entire political life?
Perhaps we should ask the Egyptian people (more…)

The Washington Times has a strong exclusive story outlining the Hillary Clinton drive for regime change in Libya 2011. The article is quite well presented with never before heard tapes between U.S. officials and Gaddaffi loyalists who were trying to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
The article outlines many of the issues our previous research also uncovered, and presents the contrast between the Pentagon position and the State Department during the crisis in Libya.
However, there is one substantive factual flaw when the Washington Times outlines Hillary’s motive for regime change.
The author writes about the motive from the position of the known visible narrative chosen by Hillary to remove Gaddaffi. Which was to avoid a “humanitarian crisis”, similar to the Rwanda massacre. (more…)
There is a jaw-dropping level of hypocrisy inherent within the U.S. State Department hosting the Muslim Brotherhood when you contrast the anxiety expressed by the White House to a speech by Benjamin Netanyahu.
If the White House is upset over an open speech that Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver to congress, imagine how angry Egypt’s president al-Sisi feels knowing the Muslim Brotherhood is in closed meetings with U.S. officials.

CAIRO: The reasons for a meeting between former Freedom and Justice Party members and U.S. State Department officials are “not understandable,” said Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry in Addis Ababa Saturday.
U.S. State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said Thursday in the daily briefing that a delegation of “former FJP members” organized by Georgetown University, adding it was “ routine at the State Department as they meet political party leaders from across the world,” and that the group did not discuss the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi.

Eyes Wide Open – This announcement follows with what we previously shared yesterday regarding the current Islamist alignment (President Obama, Hamas, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, and Ansar Beit al-Maqdis) in Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Libya. al-Sisi now viewed as the greatest threat to the fulfillment of the Islamic Jihad.

(Via WFB) The Muslim Brotherhood called for “a long, uncompromising jihad” in Egypt just days after a delegation of the Islamist group’s key leaders and allies met with the State Department, according to an official statement released this week.
Just days after a delegation that included two top Brotherhood leaders was hosted at the State Department, the organization released an official statement calling on its supporters to “prepare” for jihad, according to an independent translation of the statement first posted on Tuesday. (more…)
Several key strategic incidents occurring today which will lead to a bigger story soon to surface. It bodes well to understand the day-to-day strategic positioning, which lends to understanding what is about to happen. The media will not report on these individual examples, nor are they disposed to connect the dots of consequence.

First, a widespread and strategic attack by ISIS against several targets in the Northern Sinai region has taken place. At least 25 members of Egyptian military and civilians have been killed. Ansar Beit al-Maqdis has been outlined as responsible for the attacks.
The Islamists within Ansar Beit al-Maqdis were initially inspired by al-Qaida, but last year the group pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, which controls large parts of Syria and Iraq.
This follows an uptick in calls for the assassination of Egypt’s President Fattah al-Sisi by the Muslim Brotherhood. Additionally, and to support their efforts, the Brotherhood were hosted last week by members of the U.S. Obama administration. (more…)
According to Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings, Hillary Clinton is eager to present herself for testimony to the Congressional Select Benghazi Committee. Obviously the Democrats would prefer it to be ASAP -and- we predict within a few weeks you will see a shift in strategy which will put Gowdy solidly back on his heels and marginalize his position.
According to Trey Gowdy the State Department is hiding documents and blocking witness testimony – which he demands prior to interviewing Hillary Clinton. The Democrats scoff at his claims saying bazillions of pages, hearings, testimonials, and documents have been provided. Cummings is playing Chess, Gowdy is playing checkers.
The White House, the State Department, and the Democrats on the panel have a well-planned strategy to derail any political risk stemming from Benghazi; and even though I know many readers are fans of Gowdy, it appears he is being played like a finely tuned instrument.

Libya has devolved into a horrific civil war. Within this vacuum of non-government, the Islamic State secures a foothold. In Libya, the various Islamist factions are coalescing under the name New Libya Dawn, which is essentially, ISIS. • Hostages have been taken.

LIBYA – At least eight people, including five foreigners, were killed during an attack by gunmen against a luxury hotel in the Libyan capital of Tripoli on Tuesday, a security official told local television.
Mahmoud Hamza, director of Libya’s special deterrence force, told al-Naba television that five foreigners, including two women, as well as a security officer and two of the gunmen, died in the attack on the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli. He did not give the nationalities of the foreigners. Militants from Isis in Libya claimed responsibility for the attack nearby.
A hotel staffer said the attack began when five masked gunmen wearing bulletproof vests stormed the hotel after security guards at the hotel’s gate tried to stop them. He said they entered the hotel and fired randomly at the staff in the lobby. (more…)
Perhaps the least understood of all the Obama/Clinton follies.
The recent rise of extremist violence within Europe actually explains the 2011 decision to remove gatekeeper Kaddaffi. The 2010 Rivkin Project in France, combined with EU leaders simultaneously admitting the failures of multiculturalism led to a knee-jerk globalist reaction from the far left to save their collectivist vision.
