There was a lot of shock testimony during the House Veteran’s Affairs Committee Hearing last night. The hearing lasted until midnight, but started four hours earlier with testimony from four whistleblowers who outlined the targeting they encountered as a result of their speaking out.
One of the more damaging testimonials came from Mr. Scott Davis, Program Specialist, VA National Health Eligibility Center. Mr. Davis explained how he became the target for harassment after contacting Rob Nabors, President Obama’s Deputy Chief of Staff.

The irony of this statement by Tom Perez is not lost on us. You see, Tom Perez used to be the head of the Community Relations Service (CRS) within the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.
We have stated for several years the CRS is filled with intensely angry leadership who advocate for aggressive, often violent, racial confrontations. To see the former head of the DOJ Anger Army proclaiming his desire for violence against Republicans is, well, just typical.

WASHINGTON DC – As members of Congress and reporters ask to visit federal facilities housing children who have been apprehended by the U.S. in recent months, federal officials are slapping limits on members of the news media who want a glimpse inside.
For example, an email sent to news organizations by Jesus Garcia, a public affairs officer for the Administration for Children and Families, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, sets out a number of restrictions on reporters if they want to visit “Unaccompanied Alien Children” being held at Fort Sill in Oklahoma.
“The purpose of this 40-minute tour is to show members of the press the interior of the shelter and explain the care we provide while these children remain in our custody,” Garcia’s email told reporters. (more…)

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is holding off for now on seeking new legal authority to send unaccompanied migrant kids back home faster.
The approach is a change from what the White House has signaled and follows criticism from immigration advocates who said the administration’s planned approach was too harsh. It was confirmed Monday by two congressional aides who spoke on condition of anonymity ahead of a formal announcement.
Obama intends to ask Congress on Tuesday for more than $2 billion in emergency spending to deal with the children who’ve been arriving by the thousands from Central America. (more…)

CHICAGO – At least 11 people were killed and 60 others wounded citywide in shootings in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend, reports CBS Chicago. There were also six police-involved shootings, two of which involved teens who were killed.
In the most recent fatal shooting, an unidentified 44-year-old woman was shot at a barbecue around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the city’s Morgan Park neighborhood, according to the station. She was shot as she leaned into a car in a parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
“While to date we have had the fewest murders since 1963, one victim is too many and there is clearly much more work to be done,” said police spokesman Martin Maloney. (more…)

This entire media mantra around the illegal crossing of our border is getting on my last nerve. Will someone please just call it like it is.
“We do that which is important to us”
President Obama has intentionally created this crisis to give leverage to his goals of changing the landscape of American social construct. This administration is pushing for amnesty for illegal aliens, and consequentially the collapse their political opposition. To reach that goal the current U.S. administration is intentionally asking illegal aliens to swarm our nations borders – and supporting them toward that end.
If President Obama wanted to stop the crisis, he could order it stopped in less than 48 hours. He doesn’t.
HOUSTON, Texas–As illegal immigrants continue to spill across the U.S.-Mexico border, federal authorities are attempting to relocate the migrants from South Texas to housing facilities in states across the nation. One such facility is located in Murrieta, California, where a large group of protesters recently blocked a bus full of migrants from arriving.
The protesters remain there, adamant that illegal immigrants don’t get dumped in their town. But soon the concerned citizens may be forced to step down–Breitbart Texas has learned that federal agents plan to arrive in Murrieta on Monday with riot gear to ensure that another busload makes it to the housing facility.
