In 1986 Libyan diplomats, acting at the specific instruction of Libyan leader Qaddafi, sent a bomb expert, Yasser Chraidi, from Tripoli to East Berlin.   Chraidi was a member of The Libyan People’s Bureau (LPB).   Driving a Volkswagen Golf bearing East German diplomatic license plates, Chraidi then left East Berlin and traveled through Checkpoint Charlie into West Berlin.
He constructed and hid his device in an apartment belonging to a Palestinian student.   On April 5th 1986 the bomb was delivered to an apartment beloging to Ali Chaana.   His wife, Verena Chaana, and her sister Andrea, took the bomb to Friedenau, a district in West Berlin, where they walked in to “La Belle”, a popular Black hip-hop style nightclub.    It was shortly after 1:00am and the place was packed. Nothing is a distraction. It’s all part of being fundamentally  transformed. The punches are being thrown in a windmill fashion, and some may  hurt more than others, but it’s the same assault.

I don’t buy the notion that any single issue that burns our ass hairs is a  distraction. That’s actually an insulting elitist charge. It implies that  “you don’t know what’s really going on but I do.”

The people who read  political blogs know what’s going on. The people who don’t don’t care and/or  are Obama voters. Our job is to get them to care.

The “one big picture”  story that the “clued in people know what’s what” posted over, and over, and over  again, is fruitless.

You capture the hearts and minds of people over time when you show them lots  of examples of our destructive march leftward. You never know what’s going to  resonate with the otherwise disinterested. It might be a story about how PETA  is actually more cruel to animals than they let on.

Having watched a media cycle it’s obvious.   President Obama is going to strike Syria;  Alone.
Imagine if George W Bush refused to consult congress, garner congressional (ie. the peoples’) support, proceeded without U.N. mandate, defied the U.N. Security Council, ignored the entire international community and also failed to secure any allied backing prior to attacking another nation.
Think about it?
Seriously.   Given the history of the U.S. media and military conflict – Think about it?
Our ally, “The” #1 Ally, America’s strongest EVER -in the history of EVER- ally, Great Britain says: “meh, nah, you’re on your own with this one mate“…   ENGLAND?  Bloody Hell?…. we can’t even get them?
This Presidential hypocrisy is larger than all other familiar, and frequent, hypocrisies yet from this leftist administration; and that is saying a lot – because there have been a bunch of them.   This one however, is so blazingly incredulous, the light from where incredulous hides would not reach this example for a lifetime. Britain Says NO –  Massive loss of support for President Obama’s plan.   The British Parliament votes, and tells their Prime Minister, David Cameron, not to involve British Military in Syria.

Mr Miliband [Labor Party Leader] said:  ‘There having been no motion  passed by this House tonight, can the Prime Minister confirm to the House that  he will not use the Royal prerogative to order the UK to be part of military  action, given the will of the House that has been expressed tonight, before  there has been another vote in this House of Commons? ” (more…)

(Via National Review)  At a town-hall event in Chantilly, Va., yesterday, Gutiérrez told attendees that while he has objections to the immigration bill passed by the Senate earlier this year, he would “vote for that proposal today . . . even under those harsh conditions” rather than not pass anything. He went on to list a series of cautionary tales about the tragedy that would result should Congress fail to pass an immigration bill:

“Today, someone is going to die in that desert, trying to return to their families, women and men are going to die in that desert; someone’s going to lose a finger, a hand, an eye, a life today because an unscrupulous employer is going to put them in harm’s way, someone’s going to die; there’s a woman that’s going to be raped in a field somewhere in America today because she has no rights in this country, and we need to end that; there are children who are going to cry and there are marriages that are going to be destroyed because someone is going to be deported, and there are going to be children that are going to be left orphaned in this country.”  (link)

The headline question may seem like a little thing, but it’s not.    The absence of the White House promoting the visit speaks profoundly to the perceived political value.

The Grievance Industry said more than 100k would attend.    An average day on the National Mall in DC in August sees about 20,000 – 30,000 tourists.     So today law enforcement estimated the crowd at the Lincoln Memorial around 20,000.  
Think about it.

WASHINGTON DC –  over 100,000 people were expected to show up at today’s ceremonies marking the 50^th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, late estimates put the crowd numbers at 20,000. I’m telling ya, this is de-ja-vu all over again…. As expected, the golfer-in-chief looks into his political 8-ball and says about Syria – pick the course of action that makes me look strong, makes me look good enough, not wanting to be mocked……   Nuf said.    He knows he’s turning this into a win for al-Qaeda, but he needs it to look like he’s magnanimous or something…. 
Remember in Libya, the Golfer even defied his own Office of Legal Council advice, and violated the central restrictions on his own executive power…

President Obama ignored them, dispatched them for other advisors who would agree with his own pre-conceived Power/Rice/Clinton/Jarrett agenda.  So essentially, anything goes in his own mind – so long as the politics of it can be steered in his favor…
