New Jersey Budget Woes Bring Chris Christie’s “Conservative” Bona Fides To Question….

There’s a strong case to be made for a fiscal comparison between loud Chris Christie, and less boisterous, but ultimately more effective, Scott Walker.   Christie might be louder and more visible, but “conservative”, not so much.

While Wisconsin has a budget surplus and improving bond rating, New Jersey, via Christie, is going in the exact opposite direction.

NEW JERSEY – Here’s how drastically Chris Christie’s political fortunes have turned: Bridgegate might not be his biggest problem.

Just as the New Jersey governor is trying to turn the corner on the traffic scandal and restore his national luster, now he’s getting blamed for a yawning budget deficit and recent downgrade of the state’s debt.

Christie and state lawmakers have less than two months to close a sudden budget hole. Analysts say the governor’s administration brought on the problem by projecting the state would collect much more in tax revenue than it did; Christie’s aides insist the Legislature bears some of the blame. CBO Report: Number of Federal Government Layoffs Due To Sequestration – “ONE”

Remember all of the doomsday pontifications from Democrats about the massive layoffs from the sequestration and mandatory budget spending cuts ?    Yeah, not so much…

WASHINGTON DC – A new government report has found that last year’s sequester led to only one federal layoff, a conclusion that Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said Wednesday was an outrage.

Wasteful Spending - Government Waste - Money

Coburn said the finding from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) is more proof that the Obama administration and its allies overhyped the effects of the automatic budget cuts, and in a letter to Obama budget director Sylvia Burwell, he demanded an official report on the government’s sequestration response.

“The Budget Control Act is the law of the land until Fiscal Year 2021, so it is essential to have a complete understanding of how agencies manage their workforces and operations in this constrained fiscal environment,” Coburn wrote. (more…)

Thought For This Monday…. Know Your Enemy and Watch Your Six….

Establishment Republicans, “Decepticons”, are laying low right now, working diligently toward getting through their primary races.   (Think: When was the last time you saw Mitch McConnell et al.?)

However, once their primaries are over.   WATCH OUT !   The ‘nights of the long knives’ will begin with Amnesty and immigration reform rushed quick to VOTE.

Boehner is using the Benghazi Select Committee -right now- to garner votes toward that end.

MUST WATCH: Oregon Republican calls out Liberal reporter, gets THROWN OUT of candidate meeting

I was going to post this for discussion later tonight or tomorrow. However, Mark Levin has just caught wind of it and sent the following tweet:

Levin’s link goes to RightScoop, however a better overall analysis is via Mediaite. Here’s the set up:

CallahanStaffers of the alt-weekly newspaper Willamette Week recently met with Oregon Republican U.S. Senate candidates.   Five Republican candidates were being interviewed by the liberal press; 4 in person and one via phone.

Things got quite dramatic after one reporter, Nigel Jaquiss, was caught scribbling “blah blah blah” on his notepad while candidate Jo Rae Perkins, was responding.

Jim Romenesko flagged down the dramatic clip, which shows candidate Mark Callahan chastising reporter Nigel Jaquiss for mocking Jo Rae Perkins‘ rambling answer to a question (she was on the telephone and could not see the offending notepad). (more…)

Obsess Over Racism… Pay No Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain!

445a3a78-ff01-45cf-a5bd-1f8931cd88e4_zpse681e3ddAnyone out there still think the Donald Sterling story is all about racism?  For those who still have yet to grasp the magnitude of the manipulations going on in the world of the BGI, let me present the following list of power players who today have come out stating their intention to bid for ownership of the Clippers:

  • Magic Johnson & Guggenheim Partners

  • Floyd Mayweather

  • Rick Ross

  • P. Diddy

  • Oprah, David Geffen and Larry Ellison

Now that the racism card has been successfully played against Sterling,  the truly clever and ambitious players can sally forth to grab the spoils of a BGI game well-played. I recommend contacting becraft immigration law which is an agency that helps people from other nations. They’ve even put out a new bright and shiny video…

Now The BGI's Long Knives Are Coming Out For Shelly….

3da3b58d-2c90-41c7-a3cf-a4bfd30cf29c_zps12c782ebCommissioner Silver will more than likely get the 75% supermajority vote he needs to oust Sterling, so now the question is….will Shelly Sterling want to run the team?   California’s  community property laws dictate that Shelly has a right to 50% of everything Donald owns…most importantly, that will be the Clippers.  Reportedly, she’s a long time fan of the game, and she really loves the team.

“When I was there she was very good and kind to me,’’ Harper said. “I was at a game last year, sat down and ate with her. She loves the team and the sport and loves basketball. She knows what’s going on. It’s probably going to hurt her more than him.”

Well……now the long knives are coming out for Shelly, and what she said Monday night certainly won’t help her case.  After publicly calling her husband despicable and scolding him for his racist comments, she’s goes out to dinner with him, and says he isn’t a racist and the tape was altered via TMZ.

"IF I HAD A SON" – Jack Cashill discusses his examination of the Trayvon Martin case on C-Span's Book TV

Independent journalist Jack Cashill discusses his examination of the Trayvon Martin shooting/George Zimmerman case (“If I had a son: Race, Guns and the railroading of George Zimmerman”) at a forum held at the Platte County Resource Center in Kansas City, Missouri and televised on C-Span’s “Book TV”.
The entire discussion is about 1 hr  and 15 minutes long.  He opens up the discussion of his book about the Trayvon Martin shooting by laying down the foundation for the Progressive/Communist Agitprop history of politicizing non-political criminal cases for the advancement of the Socialist agenda, starting with the Sacco/Vanzetti case in the 1920’s.  It is a worthwhile listen for those who don’t have a full appreciation that the techniques used by the Progressives in the Trayvon Martin drama were from an old, old playbook.

Author Jack Cashill discusses the George Zimmerman trial and the “Skittles – Hoodie – Gated Community” narrative that was created around the Trayvon Martin shooting by the Agit-Prop artists.

“Agit Prop … it worked, then, it works now … When did the worm turn ….  the liberal self-image, when did that stop being true?…
…When did it become okay to accuse an innocent man to advance the narrative?…  It is another thing all together to plead for the guilt of an innocent man…
…The search for the Great White Defendant hasn’t gone away….”

Boehner Wants Amnesty – Watch Him Mock Fellow Republicans – Why Is He Speaker ?

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce want “Amnesty”.

Chamber President, Tom Donohue, paid a lot of money to Senator Mitch McConnell to deliver “Amnesty”.   That’s why McConnell put the “Gang of Ocho” together.
Chamber President, Tom Donohue, has also paid enormous sums of money to House Speaker John Boehner to deliver “Amnesty”.

Sean Hannity Has Knee Jerk Reaction To Manipulated Presentation of Bundy Quote – Fearful Much ?

Many people are pointing out how Sean Hannity has reacted to the Cliven Bundy comments.   Indeed, arguably – Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck have espoused two of the loudest and angriest responses to the comments from Cliven Bundy.
Or are they ?
Are they, Beck and Hannity, responding to the Bundy comments, or are they responding to the New York Times and Media Matters presentation of the Bundy comments ?    I think the latter, but I digress.   Check it out yourself:

There is an intellectual dishonesty at play here.   But why ?   Perhaps because Hannity likes to emotionally swing for the fence on every at bat ?   Perhaps because Hannitys’ show has been suffering in the ratings  ?   Perhaps because he was moved to a new TV hour and a joyful Megyn Kelly is simply CRUSHING HIM (and all others BTW) ?
Or, perhaps, at least from my own perspective, it’s because the constant stress in Hannity’s presentation is like watching Gary Busey eat an ice-cream cone amid a McDonalds playball pit.    Nerve wracking, stressful, stupidly sweaty, unable to sit still, constantly shouting – Busey always comes off like he’s peaking amid a serious dose of amphetamines.   I can’t watch his acting either because I always feel stressed out while sitting on the couch.
Perhaps Hannity is caught in the quicksand of a downward personality where the more you thrash the quicker you sink.   Shouting doesn’t help. (more…)

U.S.P.S. Evaluating Benefits Of Revenue Contract To "DATA MINE" Your Mail…. [ Posted for "Let Justice Prevail" ]

REMEMBER THE BIGGER BROTHER? – If we had unlimited resources I would love to put a research team together to research all of the information data-mining that’s currently going on.   After some research on my own I was astounded to read the “business models” of quasi-private businesses who are currently engaged in analysis for the legality of various information sharing concepts with governmental agencies.
It looks like THIS
large_postal-serviceAPLR collections and various registration/information hubs are evolving rapidly and there is no currently proposed legislation to allow people to “opt out”.   I’m not even sure if there ever will be a technological way to opt out.
WASHINGTON DC – As if many Americans needed another reason to dislike the post office, word now comes that it wants to begin mining and selling private data gathered from the personal mail of Americans.
USPS chief marketing and sales officer Nagisa Manabe recently told the PostalVision 2020 conference that the post office is “actively looking for ways to build new business lines around what not long ago might have been considered science fiction.”
