TRUTH: … Negotiators failed to meet the standard of achieving “anytime, anywhere” access that several members of the United States Congress had demanded as a part of any nuclear deal. Instead, in the event Iran objects to an IAEA request for access to a specific site, a “clock” will begin that grants the two sides 14 days to negotiate.

If that period expires without any resolution reached directly between Iran and the IAEA, the Joint Commission would have seven days to advise them on a way forward. Iran would then have three days to comply with the commission’s final advice, bringing the total time on the clock to 24 days.  (link)

Judge Jennifer Walker-Elrod, Judge Jerry Smith and Moonbat Judge Carolyn King heard oral arguments Friday from an Obama administration appeal to lift the Judge Hannen injunction blocking implementation of President Obama’s Executive Action on Immigration. (full backstory here)

(via Politico) […] The Obama administration has argued that the executive actions were a standard use of prosecutorial discretion, since the federal government does not have the resources to deport the estimated 11 million immigrants here illegally. But Judge Jerry Smith disputed that contention.

“It puts them one step ahead in terms of being eligible for lots of potential benefits, whether those are Social Security and Medicare, work authorization, earned income tax credits, and on the state level, drivers’ licenses,” Smith said of immigrants who would benefit from Obama’s actions. “Just seems to me that … it really is a lot more than prosecutorial discretion.”

A San Francisco article gives some insight into how the decision to make a “sanctuary city”, has now made them a safe harbor for illegal alien criminals, murderers and rapists.  Alternate headline: “Donald Trump Is Right”.

CALIFORNIA – With the awful, senseless shooting of Kate Steinle, and the arrest of an undocumented immigrant who was convicted of seven felonies and deported five times, people are asking questions about San Francisco’s wrong-headed and dangerous Sanctuary City policy. I’ve been following the story for years. Here is some background.

I remember writing on it in 2007 here when then San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom (now Lieutenant Governor) announced the city would not cooperate with federal immigration “raids,” in keeping with a Sanctuary City policy adopted in 1989. Quoth the mayor:

“I will not allow any of my department heads or anyone associated with this city to cooperate in any way shape or form with these raids. We are a sanctuary city, make no mistake about it.”

The next year, the city’s sanctuary policy was shown for the danger to public safety it had become.  On June 22, 2008, Edwin Ramos, an illegal immigrant with a history of violence, shot and killed Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, because he wrongly thought one of the Bologna sons was a gang rival, it turned out. This is exactly what Trump should do. And the reaction from the liberals in the media will exemplify why this is so dangerous to them. Remember, liberals jump on shootings to call for gun control, they exploit every tragedy for political benefit; yet they will now rail against Trump for calling for a secure border – against the backdrop of this story.   Do Not Back Down – Call Dem’s out on their hypocritical and selective moral outrage.

Kathryn “Kate” Steinle, 32, was shot to death in broad daylight by alleged shooter Francisco Sanchez in front of her dad and a friend.  Sanchez, 45, is a 7-time felon who should have been handed over to immigration authorities following a Bay Area arrest four months ago. Kate’s mother, 69-year-old Liz Sullivan said, “She just kept saying, ‘Dad, help me, help me'”. Two television news crews reporting on the killing were later mugged at the scene, with a masked gunman pistol-whipping a camera operator.

This is the winning 2016 campaign message: => President Obama empowered Kates’ killer to murder Americans. Candidate Trump has vowed to stop the illegal invasion of Mexican criminals.  Who will you vote for? (more…)

ALABAMA – A huge change may be on the way to Linn Park. Birmingham’s Parks and Recreation Board voted to remove a monument honoring confederate soldiers and sailors.

Pelham’s original Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy no longer exists. Its gift to the city of Birmingham does. The chapter put a monument celebrating confederate soldiers and sailors in Linn Park in 1905.

“There is nothing offensive about these soldiers standing up for their rights. Just like those who fought for the civil rights. They fought for their rights. There is no flag on it to be offensive. It’s just a monument to war veterans,” said Birmingham Resident Ronald Hagood.

Hagood wants the monument to stay at Linn Park. He’s taking pictures to remember its rightful place.

Sarah Jackson never paid attention to the monument in her 67 years of living in Birmingham.  She’s taking the time now to look and finds it offensive. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – As President Obama announced that Cuba was restoring full diplomatic relations, reopening embassies in Washington and Havana after more than five decades, Cuba was once again demanding the U.S. return Guantanamo to the country.

“To achieve normalization [of diplomatic relations] it will be essential also that the territory illegally occupied by the Guantanamo Naval Base is returned,” read a declaration posted on Granma, the official organ of the Communist Party in the island.

The Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, home to Guantanamo Bay detention camp since 2012, is located on 45 square miles of a bay the U.S. leased for use as a coaling and naval station in 1903. (more…)

(Via Daily Caller) Emails released Tuesday by the State Department show that former W.H. advisor David Axelrod knew Hillary Clinton had a private account despite recent claims.

According to the latest batch, two email chains show Axelrod did indeed correspond with the then-secretary of state — once in June, 2009 and again in July, 2009. (more…)
