The left-wing ideologues are on the wrong side of just about everything when it comes to the United States Constitution.
A recent case in point comes from last night’s Piers Morgan show and his panelist Star Jones.  They were discussing the recent Oklahoma (Chris Lane) shooting, and as expected they both immediately attempt to attach “gun control” to the issue.   [unfortunately I cannot find a video, however here is the transcript – the emphasis mine]

In Houston Texas a middle-aged black woman named Mona Nelson kidnapped a 12-year-old white boy, Jonathan Foster, from his home on Christmas Eve 2010.  She tied him up with string, tortured him, then burned him with a blowtorch and dumped his body in a ditch.  Reverse the races and this would be the lead story every night in the media – the same reason it’s being ignored.
Court resumed Wednesday – HOUSTON (KTRK) — New revelations are coming from testimony in the murder of a 12-year-old boy.  Three forensic scientists took the stand on Wednesday, testifying about the evidence in the Mona Nelson trial. She’s charged with capital murder. Prosecutors are pointing out newly introduced DNA evidence.

A Looney Tunes sweatshirt has been the focus of a lot of testimony in the trial of Nelson so far. Jonathan Foster’s mother and a neighbor say it belonged to the murdered 12-year-old. Police testified they found it was in mona Nelson’s garbage can, and on Wednesday, an FBI scientist said he found Nelson’s blood and DNA on several areas of it. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – The National Security Agency’s (NSA) reach covers about 75 percent of all U.S. Internet traffic through a slew of partnerships with some of the largest telecom companies in the country, according to a Wall Street Journal report released late Tuesday.
According to the report, gathered from interviews with current and former government officials and telecom industry workers, telecom companies like AT&T filter the data for the NSA, but in looking for communications that begin or end outside of the country, often sweep up unrelated domestic communications.
In addition, the surveillance network at times retains the content of emails and phone calls sent between U.S. citizens as part of a dragnet meant to capture correspondences between foreign targets.
The NSA defended the practice, telling the Journal that if domestic communications are “incidentally collected during NSA’s lawful signals intelligence activities,” that the agency follows “minimization procedures that are approved by the U.S. attorney general and designed to protect the privacy of United States persons.” (read more)

From Monday […]  HPD Detective Mike Miller took the stand for much of the day Monday.  He testified about physical evidence he collected that prosecutors say ties Mona Nelson to the murder of 12-year-old Jonathan Foster.

Foster’s body was found in a ditch, burned beyond recognition, and Miller described seeing a lot of leaves around the body.  When he went to Nelson’s property, he said the same kind of leaves were everywhere, along with a strong odor of burning. (more…)

Last night the Rose City School Board went in to a closed session to determine what action, if any, they could take against Rose City teachers who openly support a fellow teacher who is now a convicted child RAPIST/molester.
MICHIGAN – At approximately 11:30pm the board came back from closed session and announced it is not going to fire the teachers!
Immediately the room begins to clear people are walking out on what is a sad outcome for the Janczewski Family and their supporters.
It looks like the only option is to replace the board. Pull your kids from their classes , move, change schools who knows what families here in Ogemaw county will do to protect their children from sick people. (LINK)

“We believe the letters written by the teachers may be protected under First Amendment rights and that any disciplinary action will subject us to expensive, and potentially lengthy, lawsuits,” board President Jack Money read in a statement announcing the decision.

Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, and a legion of like-minded grievance specialists, is/are trying to get Stand Your Ground (self-defense) laws removed from twenty six states who currently have such laws on the books.
This is not a new proposition for the ideological fellowship.   They have been working on this for a few years now.   Actually, the backstory of SYG opposition prior to the Trayvon Martin shooting helps to understand why they chose to use the Martin incident as their springboard.
The Coalition To Stop Gun Violence, which is actually a stealth gun removal team, released a PSA to support their endeavors.   To say the PSA is a false construct is a massive understatement:

There are actually multiple grievance issues in current alignment. The Trial Lawyers Association do not like ‘Stand Your Ground’ because it provides for financial immunity in your defense; thereby eliminating the possibility of wrongful death lawsuits.
However, the Black Racial Grievance Industry, the social engineers, have perhaps the most absurd of all alignment positions.

The real victim in this case is the 14-year-old classmate, and her family, who was/were manipulated by then 18-year-old predator Kaitlyn Hunt, now nineteen.
The bail bond company -who initially posted the bond for Ms. Hunt- has revoked their bond, picked her up and delivered her back to the police, due to  Hunt’s admitted violations of the bond agreement.   (latest booking photo below)

Sheriff’s spokesperson Thom Raulen added, “Tonight at approximately 9pm, Kate Hunt was brought into the county jail by a representative from the bail/bond company which had posted her bond. This was not a result of judicial action but rather done at the discretion of the bail/bond agent. Kate Hunt turns herself in to Indian River County Jail.  (link with video)

As part of the initial bond, which was occurring as the media swarmed to excuse the behavior behind the new “gay is cool” social mantra, Kate Hunt was told she could not contact the 14-year-old victim.   It was discovered yesterday that Ms. Hunt had sent over 20,000 text messages which also included partially naked photography to the victim while she was under court order not to. (Via Mediaite)  On Meet the Press Sunday morning, Trayvon Martin’s mother Sabrina Fulton denounced New York City’s Stop and Frisk law, arguing that it was part and parcel with the racial profiling George Zimmerman used when he approached Martin before the fatal shooting.

“I think it’s all about laws,” she told host David Gregory. “You have to give, not only civilians, but the police officers the right direction. You can’t give people the authority, whether it’s civilians or police officers, the right to stop someone because of the color of their skin.”
