Unlike the socially hip meme toward the missing/kidnapped Nigerian Schoolgirls, and unlike a black Harvard Professor arrested by police -and quickly defined by the White House as “acting stupidly”-; and unlike a 17-year-old disciplinary diversion student killed in the act of attacking a Hispanic man, the plight of an American citizen’s wife -soon to be hanged merely for being Christian- does not rise to the level of being #hashtag worthy.   Heck, it doesn’t even rise to the level of State Dept. ‘Give-A-Damn’.

The remarkable aspect -beyond the obvious- is actually American Daniel Wani asking the State Department for help and being told to go away.    Maybe he’s the wrong kind of black man; a Christian kind.

(Via Fox News)  An American citizen whose pregnant wife has been sentenced to death in Sudan for refusing to renounce her Christian faith told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Friday that his wife is staying strong in her convictions despite her ordeal.

Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, whose Christian husband Daniel Wani holds American citizenship, has been held in a Sudanese prison along with her 20-month old son for more than three months. (more…)

(Via Huffington Post)  Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis received a hostile greeting in Los Angeles Thursday morning, when life-sized posters depicting her as “Abortion Barbie” began popping up throughout the city ahead of her fundraiser there.

The posters say “Hollywood welcomes Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis,” and they show Davis’ face on a mostly-naked barbie doll with a plastic baby in her belly. Conservative pundit Erick Erickson nicknamed Davis “Abortion Barbie” earlier this year because when she was a state senator, she stood on her feet and spoke for 11 hours straight to filibuster a draconian package of anti-abortion bills. British celebrity-wannabe was interviewed about her decision to abort her child in order to improve her chances to appear on a reality show.
From the Daily Mirror: –  Wannabe celebrity Josie Cunningham last night confessed the chance of appearing on TV’s Big Brother was worth more than her unborn child’s life.
Puffing on a cigarette and rubbing her baby bump, the controversial model and call girl – who will have her abortion at a clinic this week – said: “I’m finally on the verge of becoming famous and I’m not going to ruin it now.

“An abortion will further my career. This time next year I won’t have a baby. Instead, I’ll be famous, driving a bright pink Range Rover and buying a big house. Nothing will get in my way.”

(Via NewsBusters) Georgia-based abortionist Tyrone Cecil Malloy is headed for prison.
A judge sentenced Malloy to four years in prison and six years probation on two counts of Medicaid fraud. The judge will hold a restitution hearing at a later date to determine the exact amount of restitution Dr. Malloy will be ordered to pay the Georgia Department of Community Health.
Steven Ertelt of Lifenews.com insists this conviction has a national-media angle: Malloy’s abortion clinic sits in a building owned by Dr. Sharon Malone, the obstetrician and wife of Attorney General Eric Holder, or “The First Lady of Justice,” as they call her at Essence magazine.

A couple of years ago, I supported a Kickstarter project to produce the film, FrackNation.
The group that produced FrackNation – Phelim McAleer, Ann McElhinney (his wife), and Magdalena Segieda – has chosen their next project.  A made-for-tv movie that tells the story of Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist and serial killer.
This time they will be using IndieGoGo.com to raise funds from citizen producers.  Ann and Phelim had to remove their campaign from Kickstarter when the fundraising site threatened to edit their language and made noise about canceling the campaign.

Today at the Supreme Court the justices heard the case of Hobby Lobby VS. Obamacare.
Both sides organized public support.   However, the pictures and signs from the left-wing Democrats are, well, actually quite funny. They are always such bitter, angry and unhappy people. They haz sad.
