The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.

The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power.  Yes, it really is that simple.  WATCH:

‘Heels-up’ Harris made the ridiculous claim that the Trump administration did nothing to set up the JoeBama administration with a COVID vaccine plan.  During an introduction segment for Larry Kudlow’s new Fox Business show, the former National Economic Council Chairman took exception during a hot-mic moment.  The generally affable Kudlow can be heard to say: “bulls**t” while off camera.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss how the state is able to balance COVID mitigation and still keep the economy open for people to work and make a living.  DeSantis notes the threats from the Biden administration to institute a travel ban on Florida are unconstitutional.

An interesting article within the New York Post outlines a phone call by an aide to NY Governor Andrew Cuomo who admitted to covering-up the statistics of deaths from nursing homes.

Cuomo’s administration was scared the DOJ would use the information to arrest them.

NEW YORK – Governor Cuomo’s top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers for withholding the state’s nursing-home death toll from COVID-19 — telling them “we froze” out of fear the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors, The Post has learned.

The stunning admission of a cover-up was made by Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call with state Democratic leaders in which she said the Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting. Yesterday it was widely reported the JoeBama administration was considering federal intervention to restrict travel into and out-of Florida. Essentially a travel ban.  Today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis discussed the position of his state during a segment of a COVID update press conference from Port Charlotte, Florida. WATCH:

Many more people are gathering on the Mexican side, setting up a test of America’s ability and willingness to admit migrants during a pandemic.

On Thursday in Mexicali, across from Calexico, Calif., migrants could be seen trying to scale a border fence. A migrant camp in Matamoros, Mexico, just across a bridge from Texas, has grown to 1,000 people over the past few weeks.

The vast majority of the Florida economy is essentially open and not impacted by the COVID-19 virus and state mitigation efforts.  Factually visitors to Florida are stunned at the seemingly little impact the COVID scamdemic is having on the state.  Everyone is going about their business as normal enjoying freedom, and there is no undue chaos or concern.

The common sense within Florida, the lack of actual economic damage and the absence of panic amid the citizenry, is adverse to the interests of those who have weaponized the fear of COVID to attain power and control over compliant citizens.  Governor Ron DeSantis is considered a rebellious troublemaker who must be dealt with by JoeBama’s Federal agencies and authorities.

Today the Miami Herald is reporting that Joe Biden officials are contemplating using federal authority to restrict travel in to and out of Florida as a way to punish the sunshine state for their refusal to align with the fear-mongering compliance authority:

MIAMI – The Biden administration is considering whether to impose domestic travel restrictions, including on Florida, fearful that coronavirus mutations are threatening to reverse hard-fought progress on the pandemic.

[…] “we’re having conversations about anything that would help mitigate spread,” the official said, referring to discussions about new travel restrictions that could target the spread of the U.K. mutation in Florida.

Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg (aka Alfred E Newman), made a rather stunning statement during an Axios interview today.

When discussing domestic travel and transportation as it related to COVID-19, the transportation secretary said: “there is an active conversation within the CDC now” about requiring COVID tests prior to air travel inside the United States.

This ridiculous position was unfortunately one of the issues CTH predicted might happen.

COVID is not a virus inasmuch as it is an opportunity to achieve social-change goals advocated by the far-left.  Remember, one key element within the Green New Deal was to ban airplanes altogether.

The kindergarten class of tree-shouting, algae-cake-eating, everything must be sustainable and stupid, ie. leftist moonbats, are the ones offering actual policy suggestions.
