A rare Sunday senate session provides a remarkable opportunity for the electorate to understand the deception behind the Republican Professional Political Class, the Decepticons.

As you reference the following Politico article, reflect upon the reality that the current House and Senate have larger Republican majorities than the Democrats held when ObamaCare was constructed in ’09 and passed in ’10.

Following Democrat losses in 2010 and 2012, when Harry Reid was the democrat majority leader, Reid changed the rules within the senate to allow his party agendas’ to pass with lower thresholds than traditional Senate Rules.

You might specifically remember the “reconciliation” maneuver which was used to allow ObamaCare to be created with a simple majority (50% +1) instead of 3/5th’s (60) [because Scott Brown won the special election 1/19/10 to stand as the 41st vote against the Dems].

Every legislative and parliamentary trick and strategy was deployed by Harry Reid to advance the agenda of his party.   President Obama defended the machinations by saying the electorate “doesn’t care about the process, they care about the outcome“. (more…)

The Republican senators who have risen to defend Mitch McConnell are so friggin’ typical.  The entire Decepticon Crew… 

WASHINGTON DC – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and other Republicans on Sunday criticized their colleague Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who on Friday accused McConnell of lying about a deal to revive the Expot-Import Bank.

Cruz hit McConnell hard on Friday for allowing a vote on Ex-Im, which expired last month. But McConnell said there should be nothing wrong with having a vote on the issue.

“I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t be allowed a debate and then a vote,” the Republican leader said from the Senate floor. “When there is some overwhelming bipartisan support for an idea, even if I oppose it, it doesn’t require some special deal to see a vote occur on that measure.” (more…)

The Benghazi Brief <- Will these facts finally be made public?

(Via KTLA) Hillary Clinton will publicly testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Oct. 22, her spokesman said on Saturday.

Clinton was invited to appear before the committee investigating the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack earlier this week, Nick Merrill told CNN, and the former secretary of state and 2016 presidential candidate accepted that invitation on Friday.

Merrill said Clinton was “pleased” to receive the invitation to a public hearing from committee chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy. (more…)

The intended outcome here is two-fold.  ♦ #1 Any Inspector General will now have to ask a white house appointed cabinet head for approval to access investigative material; obviously this gives an automatic heads’ up to the White House.  ♦ #2 The investigative material is now subject to being hidden from the investigators; obviously this allows unlawful conduct to remain hidden.

WASHINGTON DC – The Obama administration formally announced that inspectors general will have to get permission from their agency heads to gain access to grand jury, wiretap and fair credit information — an action that severely limits the watchdogs’ oversight capabilities, independence and power to uncover fraud.

An opinion, issued by the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, says the Inspector General Act of 1978 — which was written by Congress to create the government watchdogs in order to help maintain integrity within their agencies — does not have the authority to override nondisclosure provisions in other laws, most notably in regard to grand jury, wiretap or fair credit information. Multiple layers of deceit, deception and manipulation lay within this story.  In addition, the fundamental principles of the Decepticons in the Senate surface with increased clarity.

The underlying issue is the Federal Surface Transportation Program commonly called “the Highway Bill”.  The Highway Bill is technically supposed to be a legislative tool to set priorities for the expenditure of tax revenue coming from federal gasoline taxes; roads, bridges, transportation systems – building and repairing as such.

However, as with all ‘revenue spending bills’, you find a bastardized special-interest process where more legislatures want spending on “their pet projects” than is available from the revenue raised within the tax collection.   Ergo immediately you can see the ingredients for corruption or what DC calls “sausage-making”.

Backroom deals, bribes, quid-pro-quo, lobbying schemes, booze – sex – blackmail and leverage, yep, back rubbing DC at it’s more traditional level.   Ultimately ending in more spending embedded in the authorizations than revenue raised by the taxes.  Yes, more, even more, deficit spending. (more…)

As we have continued to outline, it is important to understand the interests of the CoC.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the Wall Street construct to look out for the best interests of stock valuations.  The CoC then pays lobbyists to bribe Senators for support for Wall Street’s best interests.

(Via Reuters) Washington lobbying by companies and groups involved in global trade boomed in the past nine months, records show, as Congress debated a landmark trade pact proposed by President Barack Obama, the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Lobbying expenditures by members of a pro-TPP coalition increased to $135 million in the second quarter of 2015, up from $126 million in the first quarter and $118 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, according to Senate Office of Public Records reports reviewed by Reuters. (more…)

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that confirm that the IRS used donor lists to tax-exempt organizations to target those donors for audits.

The documents also show IRS officials specifically highlighted how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce may come under “high scrutiny” from the IRS.  The IRS produced the records in a Freedom of Information lawsuit seeking documents about selection of individuals for audit-based application information on donor lists submitted by Tea Party and other 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations (Judicial Watch v. Donald Trump doesn’t want to run as a third party candidate.  Trump isn’t stupid or politically naïve, and he understands the complexity of trying to organize the apparatus and political machine that would be needed.  Trump has repeatedly stated he is running as a Republican, to gain the Republican nomination for President.  Period.

However, Trump is also not blind to the scope of the establishment GOP professional political interests that view him as a risk to their seat at the financial trough.
