The Clintonian parseltongue continues. First she said “there was never anything classified on her private email server”. Then she said there was never anything “classified at the time” it was on her email server. Now she claims there was never anything with “classified written on it”, at the time it was on her private email server.
The Clinton’s could debate the verbiage on a stop sign.
(Via New York Post) The FBI investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsecured e-mail account is not just a fact-finding venture — it’s a criminal probe, sources told The Post on Wednesday.
The feds are investigating to what extent Clinton relied on her home server and other private devices to send and store classified documents, according to a federal source with knowledge of the inquiry.
“It’s definitely a criminal probe,” said the source. “I’m not sure why they’re not calling it a criminal probe. (more…)
Pass the popcorn, stuff is finally getting serious…
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered the U.S. State Department to request that Hillary Clinton and her top aides confirm, under penalty of perjury, that they have produced all government records in their possession, return any other government records immediately, and describe their use of Hillary Clinton’s email server to conduct government business.
[…] The text of Judge Sullivan’s minute order, which was issued at 5:46 pm:
♦ As agreed by the parties at the July 31, 2015 status hearing, the Government shall produce a copy of the letters sent by the State Department to Mrs. Hillary Clinton, Ms. Huma Abedin and Ms. Cheryl Mills regarding the collection of government records in their possession. These communications shall be posted on the docket forthwith.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Dozens of emails that traversed Hillary Clinton’s private, unsecure home server contain national security information now deemed too sensitive to make public, according to the latest batch of records released Friday.
In 2,206 pages of emails, the government censored passages to protect national security at least 64 times in 37 messages, including instances when the same information was blacked-out multiple times. Clinton has said she never sent classified information from her private email server, which The Associated Press was first to identify as operating in her home in New York.
The Friday release brings the volume of emails publicly released by the State Department to roughly 12 percent of the 55,000 pages Clinton had turned over to department lawyers earlier this year. That falls short of the 15 percent goal set by a court ruling in May, a lag the State Department attributed to interest by the inspector general of the U.S. intelligence community in the possible compromise of classified information. Team Clinton has a lot to fear. However, this movie makes them “tremble” more than if they had to release medical records Clinton is refusing to provide….
Director Michael Bay is notorious for mounting massive-scaled blockbusters crammed wall to wall with explosions, twisted metal, swaggering heroes and supermodels. The director’s next movie, however, is shaping up to be a lot more serious because the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on U.S. diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya, is anything but the stuff of pure entertainment. Due to hit theaters Jan. 15 (more)
Philippe Reines, Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan and Huma Abedin all used non State Dept. email accounts during their tenure within the Clinton led State Department. It appears all of them joined with Hillary Clinton to avoid FOIA investigative inquiry into their activity. Reines turns over 20 boxes of hand-selected emails for review.
…To clarify, the judge asked Hackett if Reines was “asked to produce in his personal email system, federal records… and he produced 20 boxes of emails in his personal emails. Is that” your understanding?
Hackett said it was.
Philippe Reines is a nasty piece of work. SEE HERE for history.
(Via Politico) Long-time Hillary Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines handed the State Department 20 boxes of work-related emails taken in part from a personal email account, State officials said Wednesday, calling into question the extent to which top aides to the former secretary of state also engaged in controversial email practices.
State Department top document official John Hackett, who heads Freedom of Information Act requests for the agency, told a federal judge in a court hearing Wednesday that Reines was among several officials asked to turn over any any work-related documents in his possession. (more…)
The Benghazi Brief <- Will these facts finally be made public?
(Via KTLA) Hillary Clinton will publicly testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Oct. 22, her spokesman said on Saturday.
Clinton was invited to appear before the committee investigating the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack earlier this week, Nick Merrill told CNN, and the former secretary of state and 2016 presidential candidate accepted that invitation on Friday.
Merrill said Clinton was “pleased” to receive the invitation to a public hearing from committee chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy. (more…)
WASHINGTON – Hillary Clinton’s email problem, long on the back-burner, boiled over again this week as two important and related developments turned up the heat.
Late Thursday, The New York Times reported that the inspectors general of the State Department and intelligence agencies are seeking a criminal investigation into the handling of “sensitive government information” on Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
The reason emerged in a Friday report by The Wall Street Journal. Despite denying earlier this year that she sent any “classified documents” over email, the inspectors general found that Clinton had sent at least four emails containing classified information derived from the intelligence community. She did not, obviously, attach “classified documents” to her electronic messages, but she did send messages containing information that remains classified even to this day.[…] (more…)
Sex – Lies – and Benghazi Tentacles
Jill Kelly is a woman who became entangled in the General Petraeus / Paul Broadwell affair story which exploded immediately following the Benghazi attacks in 2012. The affair was used by the White House to remove the CIA Petraeus risk.
Jill Kelly was threatened by Paula Broadwell during Broadwell’s affair with Petraeus. Once the affair was exposed, the media outed Jill Kelly as the original source to the FBI who uncovered the sordid affair.
Kelly then filed a lawsuit against the FBI for releasing her identity to the public via the media. The source of that media leak was, in essence, traced to then pentagon attorney Jeh Johnson, who later became DHS Secretary.
Last September (2014) we noted that the lawsuit by Jill Kelly would carry some very interesting possibilities via judicial discovery. Today a federal judge postponed DHS Head Jeh Johnson being compelled to testify in the ongoing lawsuit. (more…)
As you are all aware The Benghazi Brief details all the aspects around the Benghazi attack: who, what, where, and when; except one, “why”? The actual motive for attacking Chris Stevens. We have continually said the Egyptian Intelligence and/or The U.S. Intelligence community would have that specific answer.
However, an interesting point is noted by a researcher.
We know the CIA Annex had three essential functions. (more…)
