(Via Fox News) US Army Reserve Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer (Ret.) said that the Army is pressuring Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s defense team “to basically cop a plea, to plead out to something, and that would avoid the embarrassment of the entire long-drawn out legal process” on Wednesday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.

Shaffer, who previously reported that a decision and announcements on charges for Bergdahl would come in mid-March stated that he believes the White House and the Pentagon do not want Bergdahl’s trial going on at the same time the detainees swapped for him are released at the beginning of May. WASHINGTON DC – The White House on Tuesday will announce new rules exempting an administrative office from subjection to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which allows citizens to obtain government documents from federal agencies.

In a Federal Register notice scheduled to publish Tuesday morning, the action to exempt the Office of Administration is listed as a final rule, which means there will be no opportunity for public comment.

The move stems from a lawsuit that began before President Obama took office, but it comes at an odd time – during Sunshine Week, in which government watchdogs promote and push for more transparency. (more…)

Despite the media report that will use Anthony Gray as the primary name when discussing the Mike Brown family attorneys, the real attorneys -the ones with the political connections and leverage needed- are Daryl Parks and Benjamin Crump.

After reading through the full DOJ report on Ferguson it started to become obvious what emphasis Holder’s DOJ was placing on the findings, and the motives therein.

The DOJ, and Civil Rights Division Community Relations Service, is doing the same groundwork as a Grand Jury; meaning they are positioning Crump and Parks for their lawsuit.

A subtle tack in an otherwise consistently played out strategy.

In the Martin Lee Anderson, Trayvon Martin, Kendrick Johnson and now Mike Brown cases, the Black Grievance Industry (BGI) needs ’cause’, or ‘standing’, for their civil rights lawsuits. All of the aforementioned families were/are represented by Ben Crump and Daryl Parks.

We have called Parks, Crump and their team, the “scheme team”, because they use the scheme of demanding arrests to gain their legal threshold of proof for their lawsuits. They don’t demand convictions, they only want arrests.

In all their prior Scheme Team cases the strategy was to use “the arrest” as enough probable cause to leverage wrongful death lawsuits. After all, presumably the arrest of an individual indicates probable cause by itself. This saves them from any work in court to prove the basis for their claim, and this established burden is what they need for a successful civil suit. (more…)

(Via LA TIMES) In a windowless classroom at an Arcadia tutoring center, parents crammed into child-sized desks and dug through their pockets and purses for pens as Ann Lee launches a PowerPoint presentation.

Her primer on college admissions begins with the basics: application deadlines, the relative virtues of the SAT versus the ACT and how many Advanced Placement tests to take.

Then she eases into a potentially incendiary topic — one that many counselors like her have learned they cannot avoid.

“Let’s talk about Asians,” she says.

Lee’s next slide shows three columns of numbers from a Princeton University study that tried to measure how race and ethnicity affect admissions by using SAT scores as a benchmark. It uses the term “bonus” to describe how many extra SAT points an applicant’s race is worth. She points to the first column.

African Americans received a “bonus” of 230 points, Lee says. (more…)

Watch what happened at the UCLA student meeting when a Jewish student applied to be a member of the student government’s Judicial Board. In 2015, we’d like to believe that the world has moved beyond race, gender, and religious discrimination, yet recent events portray something much more disturbing.

(Via Campus Reform) MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said Monday that she hoped that Trayvon Martin “whooped the shit out of George Zimmerman.”

Harris-Perry’s remarks came Monday while speaking during Cornell University’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Lecture.

The event, which was first reported by The Cornell Review, was titled “We Can’t Breathe: The Continuing Consequences of Inequality,” and was meant to serve “as a thought-provoking reflection on contemporary race relations and the role the teachings of Dr. King should play today,” according to the Review. (Story Via Daily Caller) The Obama White House has worked directly with online activists to pressure the Federal Communications Commission to regulate the internet. The Commission is expected to vote on the president’s “net neutrality” policy on Thursday.

According to White House visitor logs, on September 23, 2014, Obama senior internet advisor David Edelman met with 30 netroots activists and executives from Spitfire Strategies.

Spitfire is a public relations firm that received over $2 million from the Ford Foundation since 2009 to create PR and media strategy relating to net neutrality.

During the hour-long meeting, the Obama White House appears to have collaborated with the netroots activists and PR media professionals to create the notion that the public truly wants Title II regulation applied to the internet. The activists have even celebrated President Obama’s loyalty to their cause in emails to their factions of supporters. (more…)

The Associated Press is outlining the construct of the final negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. In essence, the short version is that Iran is going to be able to produce nuclear weapons, period.

GENEVA (AP) – The United States and Iran are shaping the contours of a deal that would initially freeze Tehran’s nuclear program but would allow it to slowly ramp up activities that could be used to make nuclear arms over the last years of the agreement’s duration. (read more)

Despite the incredible ramifications, and the very predictable arms race now virtually certain in the region, this should not come as a surprise.

Iran had to work swiftly, while President Obama was still in office and the U.S. is in a weakened state, due to the specifically intentional policies of the Obama administration. There have been many indicators of this outcome over the past several months and years.
