This is a great example of how intensely the Modern Democrat party considers any ideological opposition, even amid their own constituency. From top to bottom Progressive Fabian Socialism is the entire construct of the liberal left – Democrats.

You won’t hear the legacy media tell this story, for they are part of the same alignment;  And spotlighting the rabid extent of the ideological pressure just isn’t part of the program. The media reserves that approach for discussing how the right-wing, extremist ‘Tea Partiers’ are pressuring Republicans to move away from *cough* moderation.

No, for the Modern Democrats the deconstruction of the U.S. Constitution, reflecting individual freedom, is the key principle upon which they manuever to overwhelm the system, tear down the fabric of a constitutional society, and reconstruct it in a more progressive manner. It is the same reason, albeit a divergent angle, that reflects the intents behind hiring people to sell government dependency – and force food stamp use.

(NATIONAL JOURNAL) – Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the well-funded group co-founded by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is seriously considering a months-long television, radio and direct-mail campaign against Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor, one of four Democrats who opposed expanding a background check for guns.

The goal: Make an example of him.

Senior members of Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns met at length Sunday to debate potential responses to the failure of President Obama’s gun regulation package, including a watered-down background check provision that fell five votes short. (more…)

(Via Fox News)  The U.S. Army is directing troops to remove a Bible inscription that a vendor etched into the serial numbers of weapon scopes, Fox News has learned.

Soldiers at Fort Wainwright in Alaska told Fox News they received a directive to turn in their scopes so the Bible references could be removed.

The scopes were made by Trijicom and referenced New Testament passages in John 8:12 and Second Corinthians 4:6. The verses appeared at the end of the scope serial numbers – “JN8:12” and “2COR4:6.” (more…)

On Gun Control and The Will Of The Majority – The progressive left is once again selling the story of a dysfunctional congress, specifically the Senate, because they did not pass more gun control.  A Ridiculous argument.

I know it is difficult to argue logic over emotion, but anyone who has spent time understanding the construct of our Constitutional Republic will attest to the failure of ‘background checks’ actually being a mere outcome of a properly functioning legislative body.

Our founders did not endorse, nor did they advocate for, a democracy – this is Fabian socialist re-writing of history.    Read anything by James Madison, Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin to understand the intent of the constitution which binds the nation.

We were founded upon the principle of “individual liberty”, not a collective association.  A Democracy was considered only one step worse than a monarchy.   We were founded as a Constitutional Republic specifically and intentionally to restrict the influence of government in our lives.  (more…)

After spending dozens of hours and infinite numbers of media predictions claiming the death of a Texas District attorney was most likely caused by the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, the truth comes out and it’s nothing of the sort.   Not even close….  

TEXAS – The wife of a former North Texas justice of the peace implicated her husband in the shooting deaths of a local district attorney, his wife and an assistant prosecutor, according to court records filed Wednesday.

Mike and Cynthia McLelland – Murdered in Texas

An arrest affidavit revealed Kim Lene Williams told investigators Tuesday that her husband, Eric Lyle Williams, was the triggerman in the slayings of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia, and assistant prosecutor Mark Hasse. McLelland and Hasse prosecuted Eric Williams last year for theft of three computer monitors.

Kim Williams was arrested early Wednesday and charged with capital murder. Eric Williams has been in custody, charged with making terroristic threats. He has not been charged in the slayings. (more…)

Ideological Progs never retreat, they just evaluate the opposition and change their approach.

President Obama just delivered one of the most toxic and partisan press briefings in the Rose Garden against the backdrop of the defeated Gun Control Amendment.   Within his words the next steps are brutally obvious.

“The current leader of the nra used to support these background checks. So while this compromise didn’t contain everything I wanted or everything that these families wanted, it did represent progress. It represented moderation and common sense,” Obama said. “That’s why 90 percent of the American people supported it. But instead of supporting this compromise, the gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill.”

Obama calls the 60 vote threshold (2/3 majority needed – constitutional provision now 3/5ths) a “procedural rule exploited by the minority party“.

[Hat Tip WeaselZippers]    WASHINGTON DC – Mark Kelly, the husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), is threatening to back an election challenge against Sen. Jeff Flake if the Arizona Republican votes against legislation to expand background checks.

At a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on Tuesday, Kelly said he would back an opponent to Flake if the “right candidate” was available and if the senator failed to support a background check bill, according to reports.

Flake, who is not up for reelection until 2018, has been close to Kelly and Giffords. But Kelly said the issue of control trumped their ties. (more…)

Parents of a fourth grade student at Cedar Hills Elementary school found a disturbing note in their child’s backpack:  A crayon crafted pledge that stated:

“I am willing to give up some of my constitution rights in order to be safer or more secure.”

The note was part of a “civics lesson” based on materials provided in part, by an outside group of local attorneys known as “Justice Teaching”.  http://www.justiceteaching.org/

The lesson plan, in part, directs the teacher to compel the children to:

“ask all students to place their sticky post it notes on the appropriate chart papers labelled for that right.  Then ask all students to be seated. This provides a visual of which rights in the First Amendment are most valued and least valued by the group. Reference how many of the votes each right received.”:

While the Justice Teaching exercise is designed to open up a dialog about the sanctity and interconnectedness of “all” Rights, it has the potential to be – and apparently is – exploited to promote the agenda that “some” Rights are expendable in the pursuit of collective safety and security.
