Many people don’t like him, an entire professional apparatus needs to see him removed, because what Donald Trump is doing is the beginning of what needs to be done. Tear down the entire construct of the Professional Political Class in Washington DC….. and people are catching on.
For those who are on the fence; those watching the blood sport of politics for the first time; or those who are unfamiliar with Reagan’s 1978 insurgency, it might seem disconcerting to have a CEO move in and begin to destroy decades of political self interest.
Fear not, and remember – WHAT IS THERE TO LOSE?
Unless the entire construct is torn up, you will have Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush on your ballot choice in November 2016. Hillary because that’s what the Dem’s want, Jeb because that’s what the GOP want – Both because that’s what Wall Street wants.
As a consequence, while you are sitting in the coliseum observing the bludgeoning, comfort yourself in the knowledge there’s nothing to lose here. There is no downside.
If Trump and the Trumpeters are unsuccessful – you’ve still got Hillary and Jeb to vote for, which is the exact same outcome you would have if the wrecking never began. (more…)
Breitbart has a brief outline of Nation of Islam’s head, Louis Farrakhan, speech in Miami last week. He called for “10,000 fearless men” to “rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”
“I’m looking for 10,000 in the midst of a million. Ten thousand fearless men who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny. Death is sweeter than continuing to live and bury our children while the white folks give our killers hamburgers. Death is sweeter than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of a 400-year-old enemy.
Death is sweeter. The Quran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breasts of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government won’t intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!” (link)
This isn’t the first time Louis Farrakhan has used the ‘white folks giving killers hamburgers’ along with demands for violence. However, the last time Farrakhan made these threats few were paying attention, and the audience was middle school children in Baltimore Maryland: (more…)
…The wind began to switch – the house, to pitch – and suddenly the legal hinges started to unhitch.
What happened then was rich. The lie began to pitch; the lawyers sniffed a snitch. The courtroom took a slitch; landing on the Wicked Witch while hiding in her ditch.
Which was not a healthy sit-u-ation for the Wicked Witch….
Via Judicial Watch […] During the a status hearing today, Sullivan warned that the failure to follow his order was serious and the IRS and Justice Department’s excuses for not following his July 1 order were “indefensible, ridiculous, and absurd.”
He asked the IRS’ Justice Department lawyer Geoffrey Klimas, “Why didn’t the IRS comply” with his court order and “why shouldn’t the Court hold the Commissioner of the IRS in contempt.” Judge Sullivan referenced his contempt findings against Justice Department prosecutors in the prosecution of late Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK) and reminded the Justice Department attorney he had the ability to detain him for contempt. Warning he would tolerate no further disregard of his orders, Judge Sullivan said, “I will haul into court the IRS Commissioner to hold him personally into contempt.”
Judge Sullivan then immediately issued a “Minute Order“: (more…)
The intended outcome here is two-fold. ♦ #1 Any Inspector General will now have to ask a white house appointed cabinet head for approval to access investigative material; obviously this gives an automatic heads’ up to the White House. ♦ #2 The investigative material is now subject to being hidden from the investigators; obviously this allows unlawful conduct to remain hidden.
WASHINGTON DC – The Obama administration formally announced that inspectors general will have to get permission from their agency heads to gain access to grand jury, wiretap and fair credit information — an action that severely limits the watchdogs’ oversight capabilities, independence and power to uncover fraud.
An opinion, issued by the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, says the Inspector General Act of 1978 — which was written by Congress to create the government watchdogs in order to help maintain integrity within their agencies — does not have the authority to override nondisclosure provisions in other laws, most notably in regard to grand jury, wiretap or fair credit information. Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby has previously, and hypocritically, stated she doesn’t want to argue the merits of her case in the court of public opinion. Of course she customarily does this in interviews with media who report to the venue of public opinion.
Keeping with this tradition, her office now tells the media about a ridiculous legal filing they are considering, claiming the defense team is calling them names, or something…
BALTIMORE – Prosecutors plan to seek sanctions against the defense attorneys for six Baltimore police officers charged in Freddie Gray‘s death, accusing them of “factual mendacity and legal malarkey.”
“Courts may justifiably recoil when a lawyer refers to opposing counsel as liars, and the State does not do so here, but what term is a lawyer to use to describe their deliberate falsehoods?” Chief Deputy State’s Attorney Michael Schatzow wrote in a motion filed in Baltimore Circuit Court.
Prosecutors accuse the defense of abusing the subpoena process when it obtained the cellphone records of an assistant state’s attorney. They also contend the defense crossed the line by accusing prosecutors of “judge shopping” to obtain a search warrant. (more…)
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that confirm that the IRS used donor lists to tax-exempt organizations to target those donors for audits.
The documents also show IRS officials specifically highlighted how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce may come under “high scrutiny” from the IRS. The IRS produced the records in a Freedom of Information lawsuit seeking documents about selection of individuals for audit-based application information on donor lists submitted by Tea Party and other 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations (Judicial Watch v. Internal Revenue Service (No. 1:15-cv-00220)). (more…)
♦ How much does it cost taxpayers to prosecute the transparently innocent? Tens of millions.
♦ How much does it cost after the predictable trial loss to defend against the unethical conduct within the case? You are about to find out….
Two months ago State Attorney Angela Corey lost one of her strategic legal filings as she is forced to defend herself (and her office) from the consequences of her own unethical/unlawful behavior in the George Zimmerman prosecution.
Today, we discover how much this “single aspect”, amid many, continues to cost Florida taxpayers. (more…)
In an interview with the Associated Press, Hervey’s passenger Arlene Barnum said the accident happened after a car full of young black men pulled up alongside them looking angry. Hervey allegedly yelled something back, before losing control of the car and flipping over. (link)
Anthony Hervey died Sunday after injuries he sustained in a roll-over crash. Hervey’s passenger, Arlene Barnum, has told police that their vehicle was being pursued at the time of the crash, which took place after a pro-Confederate flag rally, in Birmingham Alabama.
[…] The MacAlester News-Capital is reporting that a woman named Arlene Barnham had given Hervey a ride to the rally in Birmingham, Alabama. On their way back to Oxford, they were involved in an accident.
Reportedly, Hervey was driving and feared they were being chased. Hervey told Barnham he noticed a silver car speeding to catch up to them, and then it swerved into their passenger side.
(Via Washington Times) Rolling Stone has confirmed for the first time in a court filing that a University of Virginia sexual assault victim advocate, who also served on an Obama administration White House task force, introduced the student who became the centerpiece of the magazine’s now-retracted story about a gang rape on campus.
The move could open the door for the magazine to try to shift blame to the university for a journalism debacle that continues to reverberate across the country. (more…)
(Via Breitbart) The Hillary Clinton campaign forbid young supporters from talking to the press at an event last night in Iowa.
“Here’s what struck me,” said Susan Page of USA Today, “when I read the coverage in the Des Moines Register this morning. Jennifer Jacobs, who’s been on your show, was covering this last night. Big demonstrations outside of young people for O’Malley and Hillary Clinton. She went up to the Clinton supporters — these are protesters for Clinton — and they were told they were not allowed to [speak to] a reporter.”
Page continued, “Now, why in the world would the campaign tell their own supporters who came out to campaign in favor Hillary Clinton … these are the young people, college kids, for Hillary, and they’ve been told they can’t talk to reporters. Why in the world would you do that? (more…)
