Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas was confronted today on multiple mainstream media outlets about the complete failure of the JoeBama administration to handle a border crisis they created. The secretary was apparently not prepared for the media to turn on him and stumbled through pathetic justifications on television.
In response, President Donald Trump released the following statement:
Katherine Tai was confirmed by a unanimous senate vote today to become the United States Trade Representative. The vote was 98-0. Ambassador Tai has family connections in both Taiwan and China and replaces former USTR Robert Lighthizer.
The doctrine of President Trump was to use trade and economics to achieve diplomatic results on foreign policy and national security issues. It will be interesting to watch what happens now as the Biden Administration returns to using ideological diplomacy as the baseline… then providing economic benefits to support leftist objectives.
The rustbelt was created, and China rose to economic influence, on the political outlook once again in power in the United States. Ideology comes first, all other things changed, modified and or considered downstream in lesser importance than the ideology. The Sanders types, just like the union leadership, can all be bought for the right price.
Ambassador Tai has not yet made statements about whether she will advocate for steel and aluminum tariff removal, but she is a big supporter of environmental justice as it pertains to trade and economic justice. The climate and trade issue here specifically is the potential for carbon taxes to be part of JoeBama trade policy. How? Well, that might look like the U.S. re-entering the Trans Pacific Partnership with a carbon trading system in place.
U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) presents himself as a patriot; however, he his also a tenuously positioned politician who attended the 2016 Sea Island summit to stop Trump. As an outcome, all Cotton positions, regardless of current issue-specific merit, should be reviewed carefully for self-serving benefit.

Simultaneous to President Trump’s visible support, Loeffler’s husband Jeffrey Sprecher, owner of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), announces the NYSE will not blacklist Chinese telecommunications firms outlined in Trump’s executive order.
Background: On November 12, 2020, President Trump signed an executive order prohibiting American companies and individuals from owning shares in any of the 31 Chinese companies previously listed as enabling the People’s Liberation Army, effective Jan 11, 2021. Three telecommunications companies China Mobile Ltd., China Telecom Corp Ltd., China Unicom Hong Kong Ltd., were targeted.
Literally as President Trump was traveling to Georgia to rally in support of Senator Loeffler, the NYSE –owned by Loeffler’s husband– announced they would not delist the Chinese companies:
CNBC – The New York Stock Exchange said it no longer plans to delist three Chinese telecommunications giants.
In a late Monday statement, the NYSE said it dropped the plans after “further consultation with relevant regulatory authorities in connection with Office of Foreign Assets Control.”
There is a COVID-19 virus; however, COVID is not more dangerous than all other flu-like viruses that impact the respiratory system. COVID-19 is very manageable and doesn’t carry a higher fatality rate. [Usefulness As A Narrative]
Why is COVID-19 being disproportionately hyped as such a dangerous threat, when the reality of the statistical danger is much less than the intense level of hype?… That is the key question.

This is not a hard issue to resolve. The only reason UniParty congress is fighting Trump is because the lobbyist and foreign government bribes are part of the $900 billion and will not pass the scrutiny of public opinion if standing alone. There has been a great deal of political narrative engineering/fabrication surrounding President Trump’s admonitions to congress about a pork-filled COVID relief package. With a budgetary “shut-down” date looming on Monday, let’s look at the issues.
First, there’s no such thing as a federal government “shut-down”; the only thing that happens if with a budgetary date exceeded is “non essential” government employees told to stay home (reference the prior “sequestration” nonsense).
Second, the jaw-droppingly tone-deaf and pork-filled scheme of spending within the $900 billion COVID relief package is disconnected from the Omnibus spending bill ($1.5 trillion) that was combined into a single legislative construct for convenience only.
The Omnibus bill (non budget spending/allocation) and the COVID bill can be separated, because they are technically separate bills.
