The audacity of a Clinton…

Her accomplishments: To hear Clinton tell it, she helped rebuild the U.S. image in the world after the George W. Bush administration badly mangled it.

“The most important thing I did was to help restore America’s leadership in the world. And I think that was a very important accomplishment. We were flat on our back when I walked in there the first time.

“We were viewed as being untrustworthy, as violating our moral rules and values, as being economically hobbled. And we had to get out there and once again promote American values and pursue our interests and protect national security. Because of the eight years that preceded us — it was the economic collapse, it was two wars, it was the war on terror that led to some very unfortunate, un-American actions being taken. Against the backdrop of current events this little snippet will not reach the attention of too many people.   However, it’s lack of visibility in the news is not to say the inherent message is not resoundingly indicative of something newsworthy.

When Egypt held their 2011  “election” after the fall of Hosni Mubarak, the Muslim brotherhood worked diligently to elect their President, Mohammed Morsi.

Upon hearing of the Brotherhood victory – President Obama promptly called Morsi.

Actually, he interrupted a vacation specifically to call Morsi on the day of his victory, offering congratulations and an immediate invitation to the White House.

But for Mohammed Morsi the actual trip to the White House would have to wait. There was another world leader he needed to meet first.

One of the more comical aspects to watching Hillary Clinton say her most significant accomplishment was she “rebuilt the image of the U.S. around the world“, is the abject ridiculous nature of the proclamation.   Intelligent folk will remember the 2010 State Dept WikiLeaks controversy which led to Hillary spending the better part of the following year apologizing to every head of State for the belittlement from her staff.

Then again, there’s always THIS little nugget she likes to keep tucked under the rug.

Apparently things haven’t changed much.   Today Secretary John Kerry took to twitter to defend his peeps yet again.

This stems from Jen Psaki being called out by the international EU community for absurd statements around Ukraine. Despite the New York Times rising to her defense, *cough* “she’s being misinterpreted” *cough*.

[Psaki] has also been criticized for using the phrase “carousel voting” to describe the alleged rigged elections in the east of Ukraine, but later admitted she did not know what the phrase meant. [Carousel voting is a term to describe the practice of bussing voters from polling station to polling station so they can vote multiple times]. Russian state TV has even coined the term “Psaking” to describe someone as stupid and incompetent, according to Buzzfeed. (link)

The U.S. Military and Australian Search Authority in charge of looking for missing Malaysian Airline MH-370 have now admitted what independent researchers announced a few weeks ago.   They have no idea where to look, and admit the initial ping signals were mistakenly interpreted.  The search is suspended.

VIA CNN – The four acoustic pings at the center of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 for the past seven weeks are no longer believed to have come from the plane’s black boxes, a U.S. Navy official told CNN.

The acknowledgment came Wednesday as searchers wrapped up the first phase of their effort, having scanned 329 square miles of southern Indian Ocean floor without finding any wreckage from the Boeing 777-200. (more…)

Sevastopol, Crimea (CNN) — Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Crimea on Friday to take part in Victory Day celebrations in Sevastopol, in what is his first visit to the disputed territory since Russia annexed it from Ukraine.

The President arrived in the port of Sevastopol by sea, in an event televised by Russian state TV, and watched while flanked by senior officers as Russian warships took part in a naval display in the Black Sea.

The military parades, held each year to mark the defeat of Nazi Germany, come amid soaring tensions in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists are planning a weekend referendum on autonomy.  (continue reading)

I knew it would eventually surface.    Secretary of State for Africa, J Carson, is outlining how under the Obama administration foreign policy is a method of advocating for “Social Justice” as a solution to ideologically driven opposition.   In most recent events the Boko Haram Jihadists.

*NOTE*  In this current example Boko Haram is the terror enemy.   Boko Haram have said their behavior is driven by their Islamic faith – and demand for strict adherence to Sharia Law, the underpinning of Islam.   For Boko Haram this is a holy war.   Remember this as you go forward. 

The exact same U.S. “social justice” approach via foreign policy, which is now openly displayed toward Nigeria (Boko Haram), was engaged two years ago in Uganda toward the Lords Resistance Army (LRA) and terrorist Joseph Kony.   Remember #KonySurrender.

What’s the larger picture ?

Step back and you can see how totally weak and disconnected this Obama Doctrine is.

This administration -and yes that includes both former and current secretary of States’ Hillary Clinton and John Kerry- view foreign policy through the prism of “social justice” definitions.

How so ?   Think back to early 2013 and Sec. John Kerry talking about the issues in Syria, Egypt and the Middle East Palestinian conflict.   Do you remember him giving speeches about the “real cause” for civil war being unemployment ?  John Kerry wants to stop terrorism with a jobs program – 2013.

“[W]e’re not going to solve this challenge of terror and of extremism and of people finding an alternative if we’re not reaching out to people, talking to them, bringing them to the table and trying to work through major, perceived differences,” Secretary of State John Kerry told a gathering in Brussels on Monday.  “I believe we have to create a new paradigm, frankly, to deal with this.”  (link)

One stupid 14-year-old now has a life on Interpol’s watch list to look forward to.   In the modern era of interconnected intelligence mining and social networking, the next generation of “free people” will be known as those few who remained blissfully off the grid.   Teach the youth, children, your grandchildren, all of them, to avoid this level of foolishness.   The modern world consequences are staggering. 

(USA TODAY)  A 14-year-old girl who sent a terroristic tweet to American Airlines has been arrested by authorities in the Netherlands, The Associated Press reports.
Police spokesman Roland Ekkers tells the news agency that the girl turned herself in to Rotterdam police in and is now being interrogated. The girl, who was not identified, was with a parent when she turned herself.

Ekkers said the motive for the tweet is not yet known. (more…)

The countries who voted to support Russia were: Armenia, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, North Korea, Nicaragua, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. Everyone else supported Ukraine.
(Reuters) Russia threatened several Eastern European and Central Asian states with retaliation if they voted in favor of a United Nations General Assembly resolution this week declaring invalid Crimea’s referendum on seceding from Ukraine, U.N. diplomats said.

The disclosures about Russian threats came after Moscow accused Western countries of using “shameless pressure, up to the point of political blackmail and economic threats,” in an attempt to coerce the United Nations’ 193 member states to join it in supporting the non-binding resolution on the Ukraine crisis.
According to interviews with U.N. diplomats, most of whom preferred to speak on condition of anonymity for fear of angering Moscow, the targets of Russian threats included Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan as well as a number of African countries.
