WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Saturday promised that “explosive” congressional hearings over the Benghazi, Libya attacks are on the way.

“There are more Benghazi hearings coming, I think they’re going to be explosive,” Gowdy said on Fox News.

Gowdy, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said the hearings are going to be “coming quickly” and seemed to hint that the public might for the first time hear from witnesses to the September assault that left four Americans dead. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – For those of you who might not know or care, the White House Correspondents Dinner is an annual orgy of narcissistic self-indulgence where the biggest stars in media, Hollywood, and politics gather to become even more corrupt and insulated than they already are. It is also a decidedly left-wing affair where the media hoot, holler, and applaud as Barack Obama attacks his political opponents, and do the same when Stephen Colbert rips George W. Bush.

In a word, the dinner is a grotesque display of “journalists” yukking it up and slapping the backs of those in power whom they are supposed to hold accountable. Just as grotesque is watching the same gilded media, who protect Obama from his failed economy, celebrate their own corrupt one-percent selves as the poverty they willfully ignore explodes all around them. BREITBART – The New York Times reported Friday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has likely enabled massive fraud in the Pigford series of legal settlements, in which black, Hispanic, female and Native American farmers have claimed to be victims of past discrimination.

The cost of the settlements, which could exceed $4.4 billion, is the result of a process that “became a runaway train, driven by racial politics, pressure from influential members of Congress and law firms that stand to gain more than $130 million in fees,” the Times notes.

Among those influential members of Congress was then-Senator Barack Obama, who made Pigford payouts a priority in exchange for political support for his 2008 presidential campaign among a coveted group of black voters in the rural South, the Times reports. (more…)

The guest speakers for the Awards Banquet on Saturday April 27th in Orlando will be Benjamin Crump, the attorney for Trayvon Martin’s parents, and George Zimmerman’s defense attorney Mark O’Mara. A democrat lawmaker, Representative David Linsky, has taken a position against Mass Democrat Governor Deval Patrick and is working to outline the finances and bring to the public for review.   Well done Mr. Linsky.

(Via Daily Mail)  The deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his wife Katherine relied on food stamps and public assistance from 2011 to 2012, soon after they became parents.

New details have emerged about taxpayer money that was shelled out to the family of the bombing suspects, after the Mass. Gov. previously refused to divulge information on their welfare benefits.

A state lawmaker was able to obtain data about government assistance the Tsarnaevs received and that information was passed on to the media. (more…)

I’m putting together some more “in depth” information using prior and current research about Syria.   But I just want to throw out a note of caution on the Chemical Weapons issues.

Obama set the red line as WMD use.   I said at the time that was stupid and still believe it.

Forget the damned “red lines”.   Why?

We don’t know who would use the WMD.  Just because it’s used doesn’t mean Assad is using it.  Think about who benefits?

The Assad regime probably would never use chemical weapons period.   The guy is a facist marxist just like Quackdaffy – but he’s also a realist and more westernized than the media will openly tell you.

The “rebels” or resistance in Syria fighting Assad is not just some random collection of democracy loving freedom individualists.  That crew was kicked out about 20 months ago.  It is now 100% al-Qaeda radicals – Al-nursa front. (more…)

Eric Holder is the Attorney General of the United States;  The chief law enforcement officer.  He is appointed by the Executive Branch, the President of the United States, and constitutionally required to “enforce the laws within the nation”.

The Legislative Branch passes laws.  ==> The Executive Branch enforces laws. ==>  The Judicial Branch evaluates laws.   That’s how this whole ‘giddy up’ we call the United States Constitutional Republic is set up to work.

The Executive Branch enforces laws –   The Executive Branch, President Obama, uses the Department of Justice to execute that federally required job responsibility.    That simply means that the AG, Eric Holder, is the primary “enforcer” of the processes to insure the laws on the national legislative books are followed. In a splashy, dramatic and well choreographed press conference, the Canadian government announced that it has two men in custody in the VIA rail alleged bomb plot, while the FBI is holding a third suspect in New York.  The US media has not investigated nor released any information about the mystery “third suspect” in custody in New York city.

The National Post has determined that the Jaser family created a highly suspect and unbelievable claim of “victimhood” while in Germany (a safe country), alleging that Molotov cocktails were thrown by racists at the family’s apartment, forcing them to “flee” Germany.  These claims were never proven true, and Germany is host to a large population of well protected and state supported Muslims.  In any event, the Jaser family flew to Canada in 1993 on fake passports to claim refugee status and asylum.  Their bogus refugee claim was rejected, but by exploiting the Prog doctrine of sympathy for the fictional and non-existent “Palestinian state”, the Jasers were able to convince an adjudicator that they were “stateless” and had no where to go.

Although it was clear that the family had safe haven in Germany and there was no need to “flee” to Canada, several intelligence sources have speculated that the family sought a location in close proximity to the US.

The other VIA Rail bombing suspect in custody, Chiheb Esseghaier, a doctoral student at INRS, a well regarded and federally funded research facility affiliated with the University of Quebec,  was described by other tenants in his residential building as the “neighbor from hell”.  It is clear from independent reports of those who lived close to him that he had difficulty integrating into Canadian culture and appeared to have significant mental health issues.  The concierge at his building described him as a “deeply religious man”.  In spite of numerous warning flags, and being monitored by the Canadian security agencies,  Esseghaier was granted permanent residency status.

Both men were able to exploit loopholes in the existing immigration and “refugee asylum” system in Canada to seek shelter in major cities close to the US border, in spite of ample warnings and red flags about the security risk they posed.

The FBI works for, and falls under the authority of, the Federal Department of Justice, Eric Holder.   Which brings in a strange series of questions regarding the stoppage of questioning by the FBI of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.   Megyn Kelly outlines the initial issue:

Initially the feds proclaimed Tsarnaev would fall under the “public safety exception to miranda” which would have given them 48 hours to question him prior to the delivery of Miranda protection.   The feds didn’t even need to charge him with anything right away – but they did.   In addition, something, obviously unexpected by the FBI interrogators, was changed.  Who changed it? Why? and why was the FBI not notified of the intent to change direction?
