Just a little odd thing to point out when reading current Libya media stories. You’ll note the media in the Middle East, Libya itself, and the entire region uses the words “civil war”. But mainstream Western media never describe the fighting with those words.
It’s almost as if Western Media are covering for something, or someone’s failure…..

PIRAEUS – Libya is descending into a civil war spiral that is “much worse” than the unrest that toppled its dictator Moamer Gathafi in 2011, residents fleeing the country said Saturday.
“We have gone through (war) before, with Gathafi, but now it’s much worse,” Paraskevi Athineou, a Greek woman living in Libya, said.
“Chaos reigns. There is no government, we have no food, no fuel, no water, no electricity for hours on end,” she said.
Athineou was part of a group of 186 people evacuated from Tripoli by a Greek navy frigate which reached the port of Piraeus early on Saturday.
In addition to 77 Greek nationals, there were 78 Chinese, 10 Britons, 12 Cypriots, seven Belgians, one Albanian and a Russian.
Among them were several diplomats, including the Chinese ambassador to Libya.

A former senior advisor to Nancy Pelosi, now on the Civil Rights Commission, wants to restrict free speech on campus because college student brains are not completely formed…..
…. which begs the ultimate “D’oh” question:
So why allow them to vote ?
Wait,.. wha.. huh?…
(Via Daily Caller) A Democrat on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission has urged campus restrictions on First Amendment-protected speech because, he believes, the still-developing brains of college students cannot properly process certain dangerous ideas.

The civil rights commissioner is Michael Yaki, a former senior adviser to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
The Washington Post’s Eugene Volokh was present at a commission on a briefing on sexual harassment law in education last week when Yaki made his bizarro comments.

ATLANTA (AP) — The first person infected with Ebola to be brought to the United States from Africa was safely escorted into a specialized isolation unit Saturday at one of the nation’s best hospitals, where doctors said they are confident the deadly virus won’t escape.

Fear that the outbreak killing more than 700 people in Africa could spread in the U.S. has generated considerable anxiety among some Americans. But infectious disease experts said the public faces little risk as Emory University Hospital treats the critically ill missionary doctor and his assistant, who is expected to arrive from Liberia in several days.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has received “nasty emails” and at least 100 calls from people saying “How dare you bring Ebola into the country!?” CDC Director Tom Friedman told The Associated Press Saturday. (more…)
A few days ago we shared the Washington Times story about a facility in New Mexico being closed due to a Chicken Pox outbreak. However, a little more research into the Artesia, New Mexico, Detainment Center and you can find out a week prior a little-known CDC/DHS inspection found there were 89 (eighty-nine) cases of Tuberculosis identified in the exact same facility.
Is the Chicken Pox story a cover for the more troublesome Tuberculosis outbreak ? Is the New Mexico quarantine really because of Chicken Pox ?
If so, why didn’t they quarantine the facility as they began x-ray screening for the 89 active skin-test TB cases ?
I think with research we have a pretty good idea of what the *actual* reality is. But first, the Chicken Pox story as it appeared in the media:
NEW MEXICO – The federal government’s new facility to house illegal immigrant families surging across the border has been put on lockdown because of chicken pox, with no immigrants allowed to be transferred in or out, a congressman said this week.
Hundreds of illegal immigrants being kept at the campus of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, New Mexico, are being treated for and vaccinated against chicken pox after an outbreak, said Rep. Steve Pearce, the Republican congressman whose district includes Artesia.
“As the FLETC facility reaches maximum capacity, I am increasingly concerned for the health and safety of the women and children at FLETC and for the local community. The virus, that has caused two residents to be put in isolation, has halted all departures,” Mr. Pearce said. (more…)
Rep Tom Marino rightly pointed out that Democrats held veto-proof majorities in the House, the Senate and held the White House in 2009 and 2010; they did nothing about immigration issues. Yet now they want to use the lack of immigration reform as a political tool. Pelosi went batsh!t crazy on the House floor…..
WASHINGTON DC – A heated debate over the southern border crisis late Friday led to a rancorous confrontation on the floor of the House between House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Rep. Tom Marino, R-Pa.
The dustup began when Marino accused Democrats of neglecting the immigration issue during their control of the White House and Congress in 2009 and 2010, saying that the party is now exploiting the issue for political gains.
“Under the leadership of their former leader, when in 2009 and 2010, they had the House, the Senate and the White House, and they knew this problem existed,” Marino said. “They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it.”
Soon after he made the remarks, Pelosi, in full view of House cameras, walked across the chamber to the GOP side of the aisle — a rarity in the House — to challenge Marino.

I wonder why he will only say this in “Spanish”, not English ?

Previously he gave a speech where U.S. Congressman Luis Gutierrez Asks Illegal Alien Latinos To “Punish” Americans Who Enforce Border Security:
“We need to raise our voices, make ourselves citizens, sign up to vote and punish those who speak ill and criminalize children who come to our border”
~ Congressman Luis Gutierrez (in Spanish to rousing cheers)
Today he says: (more…)
President Obama gave an unscheduled press conference today covering a host of current issues and crisis topics. When questioned about the current border crisis and the flood of illegal aliens, the financial drain, and the stall of his request for $3.7 billion in supplemental budget appropriations his response was: “I’m going to have to act alone“…
According to the HHS TAGGS system, since President Obama signed the executive order “DACA” or Deferred Deportation Action – HHS has spent:
$671,271,692.00
We continue to look into the financial end of both profit and non-profit grants for illegal alien facilitation. As you are aware, what we have found so far is considerably divergent from the familiar media stories about “faith based” organizations and charities caring for illegal immigrants. We are currently deep into research of “for profit” corporations who are using taxpayer funds to construct a labyrinth of entities similar to ACORN.
More will follow.
This is when the black ops files are brought out and people begin cashing in their previously pocketed chips…..
WASHINGTON DC – President Obama issued a strong defense of CIA Director John Brennan on Friday in the face of revelations that his agency spied on congressional staffers’ computers.
“I have full confidence in John Brennan,” Obama said in a White House press conference. “I think he has acknowledged — and directly apologized to [Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman] Sen. [Dianne] Feinstein [D-Calif.] — that CIA personnel did not properly handle an investigation into how certain documents that were not authorized to be release to the Senate staff got somehow into the hands of the Senate staff.
“It’s clear from the [inspector general] report that some very poor judgment was shown in terms of how that was handled,” Obama added. “Keep in mind, though, that John Brennan was the person who called for the IG report, and he’s already stood up a task force to make sure that lessons are learned and mistakes are resolved.”

(PJ Media) […] I was transferred to a gentleman on Lee’s staff. When I again asked him about the contradiction and stated that perhaps I was confused, the man said “Oh look it here, we have one of those right wing, tea-bagger nut jobs on the phone taking his cues from FOX News.”
He then accused me of being un-American, raising his voice at me while asking me to calm down, and telling me that I am just on some mission to destroy our country. When I calmly asked for his name, he said “I don’t have to give it to you because I don’t want to show up on some right wing blog and be on your Twitter account.” Keep in mind, I never said who I was – he just made assumptions and attacked me. When I reminded him that he gets paid by our tax dollars, he said “I doubt you even pay taxes and the IRS will find you soon enough,” and hung up on me.
Was that a threat from Rep. Lee’s staff to use the IRS as a weapon against citizens for just asking questions? (more…)
