Turkish President Recep Erdogan Delivers Speech Attacking The West On Behalf Of Islamic State – Proclaims Ideological Favoritism For Rise of New Ottoman Empire…

The Daily Beast has another good recap of a speech recently delivered by the evolving wannabe head of ISIS, Recep Erdogan.   Erdogan views himself as natural heir to the recreation of the Ottoman empire – ISIS is a means to accomplish that goal….
erdoganTURKEY – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took on the iconic Lawrence of Arabia Monday in a furious anti-Western diatribe. The Turkish president compared the outside meddling in the region now to the role the renowned British army officer played during the Arab Revolt against the Ottomans during World War I. And Western diplomats here say the tirade bears a rather striking resemblance to some of the propaganda that has come out of the so-called Islamic State, widely known by the acronym ISIS or ISIL.

[…]  Erdoğan has been accused of at best turning a blind eye to the rise of ISIS and at worst actively encouraging it…

Last week, stung by Western criticism of Turkey’s conspicuous absence from the U.S.-led air combat against the terror organization, and the refusal of the Turkish government to rescue the besieged town of Kobani, just across the Syrian border, Erdoğan insisted he had no sympathy for the jihadists.
But on one very important point of history and geography it now appears there’s a serious convergence of views between ISIS and Erdoğan. In his speech Monday at a university in Istanbul, the Turkish president blasted the Sykes-Picot Agreement, a secret understanding (signed behind Lawrence’s back) that divided up the Middle East after World War I between British and French spheres of influence. Susan Rice Says Obama Administration Strategy is Supporting The Kurds…

The Kurdish forces fighting ISIS in Kobane (Kobani) would beg to differ.
Despite the obvious, and well documented, non-support for the Kurds fighting in Kobane, Susan Rice goes on Meet the Press and proclaims the administration strategy is to support them.

“This is very early days of the strategy. The strategy is very clear. We’ll do what we can from the air. We will support the Iraqi security forces, the Kurds, and ultimately over time, the moderate opposition in Syria to be able to control territory and take the fight to ISIL.”

Water is no longer wet.

(Full Story Via WFB) On Sunday, National Security Advisor Susan Rice said the United States would not reevaluate the strategy to “degrade and destroy” the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS or ISIL), despite its recent territorial advances, and said that the Obama administration is still not considering boots on the ground. The Siege Of Kobane (Kobani) Continues – Sunni Erdogan and Obama Watch The Slaughter With Antipathy…

It has been three weeks since we first stated “all you will ever need to know about President Obama’s real commitment to defeating ISIS you will learn in Kobane”.

Actions speak louder than words.

Obama RacinePresident Obama has made the ruse, his ruse, within Syria, transparent in the extreme.
We called this “Operation Decisive Ambivalence” as administration officials said losing Kobane “was not a big concern” to them.   The administration has done nothing to support the Syrian Kurds fighting ISIS near the northern border city of Kobane.   The Kurdish people are the “moderates” within the region that President Obama has specifically stated need support.  Yet he does nothing.
Kurdish fighters, including women and grandparents, are fighting and dying – for them, failure is not an option.  If Kobane falls to ISIS somewhere around 10,000 Syrian Kurds will have been killed.  Yet Obama’s plan is to arm and train 5,000 “moderate” Syrian’s within a year.  Think about the insufferable fallacy within the logic.
There should be NO DOUBT -in the minds of U.S. observers- what is actually taking place in Syria.   Both President Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, are ideologically aligned with ISIS, even though they may express public disapproval of the methods.  Erdogan and Obama support the creation of a Sunni Islamic state, a “caliphate” within the region compromised of radical islamists within the various factional forces of the Muslim Brotherhood…     (more…)

From Bastogne To Kobane – What A Distance We've Traveled….

The Kurdish forces trapped and fighting for Kobane (Kobani) will not surrender, will not relent, and will go to their deaths fighting the Islamic slime that is ISIS. Meanwhile President Obama and Prime Minister Erdogan willingly watch the slaughter

In 2011 Obama took us to war in Libya over his doctrine “The Responsibility To Protect”.  Even the usually insufferable United Nations is requesting an intervention.

From Bastogne To Kobane – What a Distance We’ve Traveled !

SURUC, Turkey (AFP) — Islamic State jihadists captured the headquarters Friday of Kurdish fighters defending the Syrian border town of Kobani, with a UN envoy warning thousands would likely be massacred if it falls to them.
Kobane
Outgunned Kurdish militia were struggling to prevent the jihadists closing off the last escape route for civilians still in the area, prompting an appeal for urgent military assistance.
US-led warplanes have intensified air strikes against IS, which has been attacking Kobani for three weeks, but the Pentagon has warned that, without a ground force to work with, there are limits to what can be done.
Neighboring Turkey has so far refrained from any action against the jihadists on its doorstep, despite four straight nights of protests among its own large Kurdish minority that have left 31 people dead. (more…)

Erdogan and Obama – Krauthammer Discusses The Images Behind The Masks…

Charles Krauthammer pens analysis about the fraud that is Obama and Erdogan’s Sunni Syria / Iraq  strategy.   Both Islamic leaders willing to allow Sunni ISIS full control of Syria and Iraq in the grand hopes to resurrect the Ottoman empire with Erdogan at the head of the table…..

(NRO) During the 1944 Warsaw uprising, Stalin ordered the advancing Red Army to stop at the outskirts of the city while the Nazis, for 63 days, annihilated the non-Communist Polish partisans. Only then did Stalin take Warsaw.
Obama syria
No one can match Stalin for merciless cynicism, but President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey is offering a determined echo by ordering Turkish tanks massed on the Syrian border, within sight of the besieged Syrian town of Kobani, to sit and do nothing.
For almost a month, Kobani Kurds have been trying to hold off Islamic State fighters. Outgunned, outmanned, and surrounded on three sides, the defending Kurds have begged Turkey to allow weapons and reinforcements through the border. Erdogan has refused even that, let alone intervening directly. Infuriated Kurds have launched demonstrations throughout Turkey protesting Erdogan’s deadly callousness. At least 21 demonstrators have been killed. (more…)

Erdogan Body Count Now 21 As He Continues To Murder Kurdish Protestors Trying To Get Help to Kobane…

Apparently Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Erdogan is quite open about his support of ISIS now. Anyone trying to cross the Syrian border to assist the sieged city of Kobane (Kobani) will be shot. Anyone who rises in objection to Turkey watching the slaughter in Kobane will also be shot. So far Erdogan has killed 21 Turkish Kurds who have advocated against ISIS in support of Kobane.

Failing to support an Islamic State, a caliphate, will not be tolerated. Erdogan’s position is anyone who does not support ISIS is essentially anti-democracy – and he’ll kill you to prove it.

TURKEY – Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has defended his government on its policies on Syria, as the death toll in the worst street unrest in Turkey’s recent past hit 21.
[…] He also declared calls to hold rallies in support of Kobane to be “against democracy.”
Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Özel, deputy prime ministers Bülent Arınç, Ali Babacan and Yalçın Akdoğan, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Interior Minister Efkan Ala, National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz were among the senior officials who attended the meeting. (more…)

"Operation Decisive Ambivalence" – Obama Officials Announce Losing Kobani "Not A Big Concern To Us"…

Last night former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly he believes President Obama totally understands the situation in Syria and Iraq and will make “the right decisions”. A few hours later CNN reports the following headline:

Think about this from a few different perspectives.
First, what message does this approach send to our allies or, even more importantly, to ISIS?

Kobani – Turkey's Abandonment May Spark A Dangerous Dynamic With Kurds Throughout The Region – Meanwhile Obama's State Department Says Meh, no biggie, "it's not a big concern for us"…

Kurdish populations throughout Turkey are visibly angry at Prime Minister Erdogan and President Obama’s decision to stand by and watch their brothers and sisters slaughtered by ISIS in Kobane (Kobani) Syria.   The anger has the possibility of tearing apart a tenuous dynamic within Turkey…

Meanwhile Team Obama actually says: ‘meh, no biggie if 10,000 or so Syrian moderates are killed fighting ISIS, we’ve got a great plan to train and arm 5,000 over the next year’.

Wait, wha… no… huh?…

U.S. officials: “ISIS will capture Kobani, but it’s not a big concern to us

TURKEY – […] The likely fall of Kobani may mark an irrevocable breach between Turks and Kurds in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. Many of the 30 million Kurds in the region believe that, if Kobani falls, it will be because Turkey refused to help its defenders as they faced repeated Isis assaults and cut them off from reinforcements and fresh supplies of weapons and ammunition. “We are besieged by Turkey, it is not something new,” said Ismet Sheikh Hassan, the Kurdish Defence Chief for the Kobani region. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan Openly Supporting Sunni ISIS Caliphate Construction In Syria…

wolf_in_sheeps_clothing-Kobaneerdogan

As expected the Syrian Kurdish controlled city of Kobane (Kobani) -located near the border with Turkey- is about to fall into the hands of Sunni ISIS extremists, and Recep Erdogan is doing everything he can to insure it happens.

[…]  Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the coalition air campaign launched last month would not be enough to halt the Islamic State advance and called for greater cooperation with the Syrian opposition, which is fighting both the Islamic State and forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad.

“Kobani is about to fall,” he told Syrian refugees in the Turkish town of Gaziantep, near the border.

“We asked for three things: one, for a no-fly zone to be created; two, for a secure zone parallel to the region to be declared; and for the moderate opposition in Syria and Iraq to be trained and equipped.”

Turkish tanks and other ground forces have been stationed along the border within a few hundred meters of the fighting in Kobani — also known as Ayn Arab — but have not intervened.  (link)

For two weeks we have watched Erdogan do everything he can to facilitate the falling of Kobane into the hands of his Sunni compatriots, ISIS.   Erdogan’s request for a “no-fly” zone insures that Kobane, once lost, will remain a safe haven for the ISIS extremists. (more…)
