Yes, I guess one could say that Eleanor Clift is “gaslighting“. But what’s remarkable is the strength of her position that Ambassador Stevens wasn’t murdered. In a recent Daily Beast Column she advances the same position. Here’s where it first began:
Clift also writes for the Daily Beast, and to give you some perspective on how she can justify her position here’s how she follows up: (more…)
WASHINGTON DC – Former U.N. ambassador Susan Rice, who served as the Obama administration’s mouthpiece after the Benghazi attacks in September 2012, suggested Wednesday that there’s nothing left to learn about the White House’s response to the attacks — telling a reporter “dang if I know” whether the Republican investigation will unearth more evidence of a cover-up.

Rice, now the president’s national security advisor, appeared Wednesday morning at the Women’s Foreign Policy Group in Washington, D.C. Rice had earlier made a joke alluding to the harm the Benghazi scandal caused to her career, prompting PBS journalist Judy Woodruff to ask about Republicans’ new allegations. […]
There are many questions unanswered -despite the two years past- because political control of the narrative was more important to the White House than actual delivery of the who’s, what’s, where’s and more importantly the “why’s”.
‘Control of the narrative’ is what led to the construction of the false story about a Mohammed U-Tube video as the impetus of the attack in Benghazi.
@SheriefSfarid We've never heard of this movie, what is it?

‘Control of the narrative’ is what kept Hillary Clinton off the Sunday morning talk shows the weekend after the attack. The structural lying was left to Susan Rice.
‘Control of the narrative’ is what led to White House Communications Director Ben Rhodes structuring the Susan Rice talking points. ‘Control of the narrative’ is what led to National Security Council Spokesperson Tommy Vietor changing the wording on the talking points on behalf of his boss Tom Donilon.
If you do not denounce Donald Sterling, you are a racist.
If you do not denounce Brendan Eich, you are homophobic.
Yet, if you do not denounce Boko Haram?… (((crickets)))
The progressives are so conflicted when one of “their team” turns out to be a child rapist, abductionist and murderer. Sheeesh, what’s a grievance commission to do without some middle aged white man to rail against ?
U.S. Muslim Groups Say They Won’t Move To Excommunicate Boko Haram!

(Via Daily Caller) U.S. Islamic leaders won’t try to formally excommunicate the Islamist Boko Haram group unless they can meet with its leadership to debate the religious legitimacy of its actions, a spokesman for a leading mosque told The Daily Caller. (more…)
(White House) Hello everyone, I’m Michelle Obama, and on this Mother’s Day weekend, I want to take a moment to honor all the mothers out there and wish you a Happy Mother’s Day.
I also want to speak to you about an issue of great significance to me as a First Lady, and more importantly, as the mother of two young daughters.
Like millions of people across the globe, my husband and I are outraged and heartbroken over the kidnapping of more than 200 Nigerian girls from their school dormitory in the middle of the night. (more…)
Yes, finally – and let’s hope this report is accurate.
Why finally? Consider….. As we previously shared three weeks ago (April 14th), when the abduction took place, we ALREADY had TWO Rapid Response forces in the immediate area. Each comprising 250 rotating Marine contingents:
One group stationed in Sudan trying desperately to maintain security for the semi-evacuated U.S. Embassy and interests. AND THE OTHER right next door *still* engaged in the #SurrenderKony Campaign against the Lords Resistance Army.
That’s why we were gnashing our teeth back on 4/14 – weeks before the start of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. We’ll bet a donut, when the full story comes out, the guys in this article (if accurate) just moved to Nigeria from the Uganda/Congo border.
NIGERIA – US Marines currently in Nigeria to help the government combat Boko Haram terrorists have made their first arrests taking two male suspects into custody after they were found in possession of arms and ammunition during a targeted search.
Over the last week, US Marines have arrived in Nigeria to help with the fight against terrorism after Boko Haram took their war of terror to another level by abducting 234 pupils from Government Girls Secondary School Chibok in Borno State. Acknowledging that the matter was getting beyond its control, the Nigerian government swallowed its pride and accepted outside help. (more…)
Meanwhile in the Oval Office….
Pardon? Yeah, Yeah… hang on. OK,… how’s this?
On the …night of September 11th, 2012 ….”I…. did… not… have … f-a-c-t-u-a-l …relations …with …this …woman”.
WASHINGTON DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) today named the seven Republican members of the Select Committee on the Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi.
The Select Committee also provides for five Democratic members, and those names will be released when provided by the House Minority Leader. Boehner issued the following statement: (more…)
I’ve been thinking about this global social media campaign surrounding the Nigerian school girl abduction, and I fear the attention delivered to al-Qaeda’s Boko Haram is going to end up backfiring negatively upon the kidnapped. The value of the abduction to Boko Haram has increased exponentially as the entire world is now looking at, and listening to, them.
WASHINGTON DC – President Obama said he wakes up thinking of the Nigerian schoolgirls abducted by Islamist extremists and facing a life as sex slaves, and wishes he “could reach out and save those kids.”
“We only need to look at today’s headlines — the devastation of Syria, the murders and kidnappings in Nigeria, sectarian conflict, the tribal conflicts — to see that we have not yet extinguished man’s darkest impulses,” Obama said at a Los Angeles fund-raiser late Wednesday. (more…)
