How dare he. Just, well, how dare he. That’s the takeaway sense you get when you review the New York Times framing of a two hour ‘on-the-record’ interview with Donald Trump referencing a world-view and foreign policy outlook.
It is refreshing, and it is bizarre we can even use the word “refreshing“, to see an American candidate for the American Presidency, say their goal is to actually put America-first in all policy decisions.
It’s not protectionism, it’s patriotism.
It’s not isolationism, it’s common sense.
Almost all of Europe and most of Asia are capable of spending Trillions of dollars on their infrastructure, Airports, bullet-trains, high-speed rail, bridges, ‘Chunnels’, and the list goes on…. quite simply because they don’t spend much on their own national defense, and prefer to hide behind our military apron when needed.
To pay for this enomorus international military/police force, and overly generous commitment, we, in turn, put ourselves into debt and can’t spend on our own domestic needs. This is not international economic theory, it’s a reality – and for the first time in decades a politician is saying enough is enough. Charity begins at home!

Two days ago – two men, actually two professional antagonists, showed up wearing armbands supposedly ‘spoofing‘ Donald Trump with Nazi comparisons. However, things were not as they seemed.
The men who wore armbands touting Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump were actually the same pranksters who sported “Settle for Hillary” shirts at a Hillary Clinton event earlier this year.
As reported in The Hill
The men wore armbands with a large “T” on them at a Trump rally in Florida, according to a picture tweeted by a reporter from The Boston Globe.
…”Meet at The Old Mill, We Ride at Midnight”
After many months of professional political class “gaslighting” Americans, the patriots in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, and Wyoming now engage their moment to have their voices heard.
A visible and quantifiable moment to rise, unite, join with us and and state their collective refusal to be co-dependents in our national demise….

We Remember – December 23rd 2009 when Majority Leader Harry Reid passed a version of Obamacare through forced vote at 1:30am. The Senators could not leave, and for the two weeks previous were kept in a prolonged legislative session barred returning to their home-state constituencies. It was, by all measures and reality, a vicious display of forced ideological manipulation of the upper chamber; shared again as a constant reminder for what set the stage, and what followed. (more…)
The case is Schwartz v. Cruz, 4:16-cv-00106, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas (Houston) – and the suit was filed yesterday. An 85-year-old lawyer, who claims no party affiliation, has filed a 28 page complaint with the U.S. District Court seeking expedited determination of the eligibility of Senator Ted Cruz to be President of The United States.
(Via Bloomberg) Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz should be disqualified from the race because he isn’t a “natural-born citizen,” a fellow Texan claims in a “birther” challenge filed against the senator in a U.S. court.
The suit seeks a court definition of the term to clarify whether Cruz — who was born in Canada to an American mother — can or can’t serve if elected.
“This 229-year question has never been pled, presented to or finally decided by or resolved by the U.S. Supreme Court,” Houston attorney Newton B. Schwartz Sr. said in his 28-page complaint. “Only the U.S. Supreme Court can finally decide, determine judicially and settle this issue now.” (more…)
A ruling this morning from the Wisconsin Supreme Court (read here), rendered official what observers have long known for a long time:
Wisconsin Democrats did, in fact, launch a massive, multi-county “John Doe” investigation of the state’s conservatives, featuring extraordinarily broad subpoenas and coordinated “paramilitary” raids of private homes; the “crimes” that provided the investigation’s pretext were not crimes at all, but First Amendment-protected speech; and the legal theory underpinning the investigation was bunk, “unsupported in either reason or law,” as the court put it.
[…] On October 3, 2013, multiple Wisconsin conservatives were awakened by a persistent pounding on the door, their houses were illuminated by floodlights, and police — sometimes with guns drawn — poured into their homes. Once inside, the investigators turned the private residences of these innocent conservative citizens “upside down,” seeking an extraordinarily broad range of documents and information. These raids were supplemented by subpoenas that secured for investigators massive amounts of electronic information.
The court was obviously disturbed: (more…)
FLORIDA – The Marion County Commission on Tuesday unanimously agreed to restore the Confederate flag that had been removed from the McPherson Governmental Complex two weeks ago.
Several members of the public spoke in favor of restoring the flag during the commission’s bi-monthly meeting on Tuesday morning. At the end of the meeting, the commission unanimously agreed to restore the flag. It will also create a historical display so that people can understand the significance of the Confederate flag as well as the other flags flying in front of the complex.
The Confederate flag was removed in the wake of the June 17 killing of African-American churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina. The accused killer had expressed racist beliefs and had been pictured waving the Confederate flag. (more…)
This is the most important delivery of information this year.

“I’ve patiently endured for the last few years a lot of lunatic frothing on message boards and in comment sections of various blogs.
I’ve read a lot of proclamations from a sundry of leftists all who mouth essentially the same lickspittle – the right is dead, they are old, they are anachronistic, they are racist, they are misogynist, it is over, the new normal in the USA is some amalgam of third world governance and a bath house. Not so.”…
There are some remarkable similarities to Eric Robert Rudolph, the Atlanta Olympic bomber that many people might remember. Rudolph used his extensive knowledge of the North Carolina mountains to evade capture for years…
PENNSYLVANIA – State police said Eric Frein, accused of killing one trooper and injuring another, had planned the rampage “extensively for months, maybe years,” and authorities have every indication that he is somewhere in a densely wooded area in northern Monroe County where the search has intensified this weekend.

Authorities have found several abandoned items including an AK-47-style rifle and magazines in recent days.
“There’s no doubt we are pushing him hard,” Lt. Col. George Bivens, deputy commissioner of operations, said during a news conference underway now. “He is losing items.”[…]
