Last Thursday two nuns, who were registered nurses and served the local community with free healthcare, were found brutally murdered in their home just outside Jackson Mississippi. They had been stabbed to death and law enforcement found evidence of a break in; their blue Toyota Corolla was missing.

The nuns worked for the Catholic Diocese of Jackson (Mississippi) where they operated a clinic in Lexington, about 13 miles away. Clinic workers called law enforcement when Sister Paula Merrill and Sister Margaret Held did not show up for work. They had quietly served the community in Mississippi for decades.

Yesterday a suspect in their murder was arrested, Rodney Earl Sanders (pictured above). Once again, the media pushing the obtuse line “no known motive” – ie. something’s up:

Via AP Update (9:15pm) […] Willie March, the sheriff of Holmes County where the killings occurred, said Saturday he had been briefed by police from the town where the killings occurred and Mississippi Bureau of Investigation officials who took part in Sanders’ interrogation.

Sanders confessed in the interrogation to the killings and gave no reason for the crimes, March said. (more)

With over 1,100 comments on this issue, obviously a lot of people have strong opinions about KC [Kellyanne Conway]. What I am about to say probably has already been said but here goes anyways.

I do not believe for an instance that KC’s comment/s were accidental. I don’t think most of you think so either. So the question is whether or not they were intentional for profitable design or nefarious design. The article has landed on the side of nefarious design. That is understandable considering the clients KC has represented in the past. I couldn’t stand “wolf in sheep’s clothing” Cruz.

However, I just don’t see this as something of nefarious design. If it was, the day that she started the narrative [Sunday], it would have been silenced by Mr. Trump. He has had no problem clarifying things that have been misspoken before.

However, not only has he not silenced this, but he has himself changed how he presents himself on the issue. And this is the real purpose I believe for this narrative. (more…)

A Pennsylvania Jury found Democrat Attorney General Kathleen Kane guilty on nine criminal counts last night including conspiracy and perjury.  Elected to office in 2014, found guilty of criminal conspiracy in 2016:

(Via New York Times) […]  Ms. Kane stared straight ahead as the word “guilty,” uttered decisively by a juror in a flowered dress, echoed nine times around the courtroom. The lawyers immediately went into a private conference with the judge, leaving Ms. Kane, who campaigned on a promise to uncover political interference in Pennsylvania, alone at the defense table.

And when Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy returned to the courtroom, she turned directly to Ms. Kane with a stern warning, her words slicing through the silence.

“There is to be absolutely no retaliation of any kind against any witness in this case, either by your own devices, from your own mouth or your hand, or directing anybody to do anything,” the judge said. She threatened Ms. Kane, who is currently free on bail, with immediate incarceration if she failed to comply. (more…)

The Marilyn Mosby press conference today (dropping charges in Baltimore), followed the carefully scripted DNC Convention presentation of the Black Lives Matter “Mothers of The Movement” last night.

Anyone watching current events who claims these two events were not strategically timed to occur sequentially is being obtuse.

Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake is the DNC Convention Chairperson by design. The timing of the press conference, by Baltimore Attorney General Marilyn Mosby, was also by design.   The Democrat party is notorious for framing the narrative and the optics which fuel the media cycles.

Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has dropped all charges against the remaining police officers (video below).  All charges were dropped against all the officers who faced trial in connection with the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray April 2015.

The decision was announced during pretrial motions for Officer Garrett Miller, who was the next to face charges of second-degree assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment.

Four Baltimore officers previously stood trial.  Judge Barry Williams acquitted three: Edward Nero, Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. and Lt. Brian Rice.

William Porter’s trial ended in a hung jury in December, and was scheduled for a retrial in  September. Garrett Miller was beginning today, and Alicia White had a court date in October.  The charges against these officers has been withdrawn.

However, stunningly, in announcing her decision Marilyn Mosby actually blamed the black judge, Barry Williams, for her decision.  Excerpt from the Baltimore Sun (emphasis mine): (more…)

During a rather jaw-dropping press conference, full video below, the city, county and state law enforcement in Baton Rouge Louisiana outlined the exact details of how police shooter Gavin Long carried out his ambush attack against law enforcement.

The key part of the presser was Colonel Mike Edmonson explaining the entire event.  Video is prompted to 24:20 for his presentation:

Shooter Gavin Eugene Long (29) was forensically confirmed as shooter at midnight last night.  Law enforcement confirm that Long traveled to Baton Rouge specifically and intentionally to target police officers.  Gavin Long specifically did not engage the general public as he tactically targeted ONLY police officers.

Officer Brian Rice has been acquitted of all charges by Baltimore Judge Barry Williams (full ruling pdf embed below).  Rice is the third of four officers accused to have been acquitted of all charges; the fourth, officer Porter, ended with a mistrial:

[…] “prosecutors have failed to meet their burden of proving the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, instead asking the court to rely on presumptions or assumptions something it cannot do. The court cannot be swayed by sympathy, prejudice or public opinion.”

Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby has now tried four of the six Baltimore officers and, as further evidence of the ridiculousness of her attempts, she has not been able to achieve any convictions.

WDSU Local News Reported – Kansas City police said a standoff ensued Sunday at the home of the gunman who shot and killed three law enforcement officers in Baton Rouge. Officials told KMBC-TV a standoff took place at the home of Gavin Long, who was identified as the gunman in the Baton Rouge police shooting. Long, who was killed in Baton Rouge, was a resident of Kansas City.

It’s unclear who was inside the home during the standoff. KMBC, WDSU’s sister station, said reporters knocked on the door of the home and the person who answered was carrying a high-powered rifle. (read more w/ video)
