By now you have probably seen the outline and research we have assembled around the Myrtle Beach Massacre and Black Bike Week.
The reason we have continued to follow the story as it unfolds is because the event and consequences show a great example of how paralyzed a community can become when it allows fear to drive political correctness.
In addition, how the local government is responding is a case study in cultural fear and fear of the racist labeling. In this specific case Myrtle Beach is also afraid of the NAACP because they have a previous history of being sued by them.
The local city government is willing to pay vast sums of taxpayer money just to avoid confronting the root of the weekend violence. The violence is ironically created by, and enhanced by, their own avoidance policies. Subsequently the entire community is subjected to violence because they are caught in a catch-22 of political correctness.
To that end during a North Myrtle Beach City Council Meeting held 5/27/14 the local city council came prepared to fight the reality of the citizens angst with a litany of PC statistics to support their position.
The city council quickly coordinated their defense within hours of the Memorial Day holiday ending. Literally within hours. At 2pm the day after Memorial Day the local government was ready to defend themselves with charts and statistics, as if they already knew what to expect and were preparing in advance for the ire of the victims. Hmmmm? (more…)
Just as the national media is censoring the violence at Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, so too they are censoring violence at Black Beach Weekend in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The event is officially called “Urban Beach Week,” and unofficially referred to as “Black Beach Week”. The Facebook page is HERE and the website for Urban Beach Week is HERE.
As you may have noted in a few disingenuous media articles – Miami was prepared for the event. Consequently it seems some of the annual chaos shifted North to Fort Lauderdale.
Miami police arrested 225 people in connection with the 2014 event. The drop in arrests in/around Miami was offset by the increase in arrests in Fort Lauderdale. (more…)
We’ll continue to look for specific information from the meeting. In the interim here’s a brief video to show you the level of resident interest:

Myrtle Beach ain’t got nothing on Miami Beach and Clearwater Beach, except for the lack of massive law enforcement. Apparently there’s a commonality….
Beach Blanket Bang-bro’s
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Fort Lauderdale police believe hundreds of young people made their way to the beach for one reason this Memorial Day, to cause trouble.
Police described a volatile scene Monday night as they had to arrest dozens of people that were part of unruly crowds. Two separate incidents late Monday afternoon kept officers busy. One scene was near the area of 31st Avenue and West Broward Boulevard.
The other was near the beach close to A1A. Police said around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, hundreds of young people made their way to the beach for one reason this Memorial Day, to cause trouble.

There is so much PC-ism (literally hundreds of examples) within the Atlantic Beach / Myrtle Beach -Bike Fest Weekend story- it’s almost too much to absorb.
In response to five shootings, three deaths, and a total of ten people shot during Black Bike Week – The city of Myrtle Beach/Atlantic Beach is at odds within itself.
The majority of business and residents want the event cancelled – But Myrtle Beach is stuck betwixt Atlantic Beach, the NAACP, and a hard place. The entire issue, support vs. non-support for Black Bike Week, aka now “Bike Week”, falls along racial lines.
However, Myrtle Beach Residents are tightrope walking around their egg shell thin PC-ism’s saying it’s not about race…. While simultaneously the Town of Atlantic Beach residents are actively wielding the race-card. (more…)
The CNN article does not contain a link to the actual 47 page document, nor does it state how the Inmarsat position changed from “the data was irretrievably lost” to now “the data is being released”. Go Figure… If you find it can you drop a link in the comment section. Never mind, I found it here: http://www.dca.gov.my/mainpage.html
I uploaded the Malaysian Press Release and Data to the SCRIBD account, and will embed the data in a separate post (the next post). Thanks… /SD
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (CNN) — Data from communications between satellites and missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was released Tuesday.
For weeks, the satellite company Inmarsat said it didn’t have the authority to release the data, deferring to Malaysian authorities, which are in charge of the search for the plane that disappeared more than two months ago over Southeast Asia. (more…)
The NAACP vows litigation vengeance if the Myrtle Beach Mayor tries to stop the violence or cancel future events.
SOUTH CAROLINA – […] “I don’t know if there’s anything I could say that could satisfy our residents and the business community in our city right now,” said Myrtle Beach Mayor John Rhodes.
WMBF News spoke with the Mayor on Monday to see if the city has plans to make changes to Memorial Day Weekend security in the future to prevent crime. The short answer is yes.
“I’m fed up with it; I’m mad as hell about it,” added Rhodes. “Something has to be done and whatever we have to do to correct this thing, that’s the direction we’re going in.”
This triple homicide is one of five shootings in Myrtle Beach in less than 48 hours. Rhodes said this crime trend does not reflect the true Myrtle Beach. (more…)
The negative or poor job performance reviews were afforded to minority groups at a disparate rate than their numerical componentry. Therefore all performance reviews must be dropped.
WASHINGTON DC – One government agency has decided that the results of employee ratings are too discriminatory, and eliminated the process entirely. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced on Monday that it will now award all employees the highest rating regardless of performance reviews.
The CFPB, which oversees transactions in the financial sector for the federal government, decided to no longer conduct employee reviews because there were just too many apparent “significant disparities” between the races, ages, and locations of its employees.
According to American Banker, this new policy is set to cost over $5 million dollars, as it will now pay employees as if they received the highest evaluation score. The previous system ranked staff on their performance from a scale ranging from one to five, with five being the best score a CFPB staffer could receive after a review of their work on the job. Yesterday afternoon we highlighted a contrast of media coverage.
Friday in California Eliot Rogers shot 3 people during a shooting rampage and the media ran the story non-stop for the next 24 hours. Meanwhile in Myrtle Beach, SC, a similar rampage happened moments later. Similarly 3 people killed, several more wounded and yet almost nothing said outside of local media.
Why?
Unlike California, the Myrtle Beach shootings did not stop on Saturday. Last night two more people were shot in a similar violent fashion bringing the total number of people killed or wounded to TEN in just 24 hours of a holiday weekend in Myrtle Beach. (more…)
