*UPDATE* The hatchet-wielding man who attacked four NYPD officers earlier today and was then shot dead by police may have had ties to ISIS, sources told Vocativ. Law-enforcement sources we spoke with identified Zale Thompson as the armed man who charged at a group of NYPD uniformed police assembled on a street corner in Jamaica, Queens, at around 2 p.m. today. Grandpa was shot multiple times by three thugs yet he did not stop shooting back. He killed one thug and wounded two thugs who were arrested in the hospital.  Grandpa is in an Intensive Care Unit….  ((Prayers))
LUMBERTON, NC – A grandfather shot back and is believed to have killed a suspect in a home-invasion and attempted rape of his teen granddaughter on Monday night, Robeson County Sheriff’s officials said.

The grandfather was also shot – but he also managed to shoot the 2 other suspects in the home-invasion and attempted rape, said Maj. Anthony Thompson with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident started around 10 pm at a house on Yedda Road in Lumberton on Monday night when someone knocked on the home of the grandfather, his wife and their 19-year-old granddaughter, according to the sheriff’s office. (more…)

(VIA NBC) There are tests underway to determine if Jesse Matthew’s DNA is in Alexis Murphy’s car.
According to Randy Taylor’s defense attorney Michael Hallahan, the FBI lab is performing DNA testing to determine if Matthew’s DNA was in Murphy’s car. Murphy’s car was found in the parking lot of the Carmike 6 movie theater in Albemarle County three days after she disappeared.
Earlier this month Hallahan asked the commonwealth’s attorney to compare DNA evidence gathered from the investigation of Matthew with unidentified evidence in the Murphy case.”There were multiple DNA samples found in Alexis Murphy’s car,” Hallahan said. “Most of them came back unknown.” (more…)

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – In a recent statement, Michael Brown’s mother asked that her son not be part of self-serving business or political actions as she pleaded that he be remembered for the good. A reported assault and theft this past weekend may dramatically underscore that sentiment.

It happened Saturday night, October 18th, at about 8:15 pm in the parking lot of Red’s BBQ. It`s the corner of Canfield and West Florissant, just blocks from where Michael Brown was shot and killed.

This takes the Ferguson cake.   Buried inside a catch-up story by the LA Times, who are missing out on the Mike Brown shooting scoops, is a trail that leads to the Feds providing details of the investigation to an editor of The Saint Louis American, Chris King. The Saint Louis American is African American News-Media. (Similar to The Grio)  
King refuses to use the sourced information (about the factual evidence in the case) because his audience is black and the evidence does not support Mike Brown.  In essence he feared the audience backlash, ie. “coward”.
Chris King is white, his wife black and his audience primarily African American.  Obviously the investigation details he was privy to (a month ago) all support Officer Darren Wilson and therefore would not please his audience.  You might also enjoy reading his twitter feed since he’s been called out.  He is redefining what it means to be obtuse with denials and avoidance.  
Secondly, note how the “Federal Sources” for the LA Times are “unnamed”; despite the fact they claim to be quoting a “spokeswoman” they don’t provide a name as such.  That’s because this supposed anxiety from the feds is faux-outrage.  The feds, or more specifically the DOJ/CRS are the ones providing the leaks.  Also important, notice too the example they use for what upsets them.  It is not the current leaks and releases, but rather the previous release of the Ferguson Liquor Mart CCTV from Ferguson PD.

The official autopsy on Michael Brown shows that he was shot in the hand at close range, according to an analysis of the findings by two experts not involved directly in the case.

The strategic and authorized retreat goes from a slow backing away to a fast trot.
All of the “leaks” are federally approved releases. Just like the New York Times federal story leak (release) a few days ago, this local leak is carefully timed to release the internal community pressure.
The DOJ-CRS “peacekeepers” are the approvers for the releases of information. The DOJ – Community Relations Service (Grande Lum) is setting up the community for the “no-bill” grand jury decision and simultaneously trying to avoid riots.
The Wilson Version (Saint Louis) […] After he finished with a call for a sick baby, Wilson said, he spotted Brown and his friend, Dorian Johnson, walking down the middle of Canfield Drive, with traffic passing on both sides.
Wilson asked or ordered the men to move to the sidewalk, said the source, who did not want to be identified because a St. Louis County grand jury and the Department of Justice are still investigating.
Johnson pointed out the pair’s destination, over and behind Wilson’s marked police Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, and kept walking.
