The SNL “skit” is a takeoff on a mainstream commercial for Toyota Camry. Named “My Bold Dad” the Toyota commercial features a father driving his daughter to the airport so she can join the U.S. Army.

The NBC/SNL parody takes a knock at the military by showcasing an actress who “didn’t graduate High School” as a the NBC view of military enrollees. However, it then goes a step further with the ISIS Jihadist angle.

More concerning than the ridiculous SNL delivery is the thought that more than one person in NBC had to think this was actually a good idea, and approve it.

Sometimes humor can walk a precarious edge, and we are not even remotely the humor police.  In this case, however, the humor is lost – it’s just not funny.  Apparently NBC doesn’t actually recognize that ISIS is holding hostages, real people, including Americans’…. and brutally, currently, visibly, killing them.

Channeling the same ideology of Al Sharpton, and ending his term as the nation’s top LEO, AG Holder gives an extensive interview to Politico outlining his desire to lower the standard of proof to bring federal civil rights charges.

Eric Holder was discussing the Trayvon Martin shooting incident as he gave his ideological assesment that it should be easier to target non-blacks, vis-à-vis George Zimmerman, who defend themselves against black attackers.

Previously Holder argued for, and gained, the removal of school discipline for black violations of school behavioral policy – using the controversial legal auspices of “disparate impact“. Apparently Holder wants to apply the same ideological approach toward what he defines as civil rights violations.

Politico […] “I think that if we adjust those standards, we can make the federal government a better backstop — make us more a part of the process in an appropriate way to reassure the American people that decisions are made by people who are really disinterested,” he said. “I think that if we make those adjustments, we will have that capacity.”

TODAY …”President Obama on Thursday commemorated the third anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old black high school student shot dead in Florida by a neighborhood watch volunteer.

“Today on the third anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s death, showing all of our kids, all of them, every single day, that their lives matter — that’s part of our task,” Obama said during a White House reception for Black History Month that was attended by Martin’s parents. (link)

Ironically were it not for Frances Robles writing a Miami Herald article on March 26th 2012 an entire chain of events would not have taken place.

It was that Robles article, and the outlining of the Miami-Dade School Police Department’s report on a Trayvon Martin incident from October 2011, that kicked off an internal investigation by M-DSPD Police Chief Hurley against his own officers to find out who leaked the police report. (more…)

In an expression of logic that can only come from the mind of Al Sharpton – he expressed the following perspective:

“The intent to prove that Zimmerman did it because of his race, that is the legal threshold. Unless we change that legislation, we end up where we are in terms of the Trayvon Martin case”. (link)

And there you have the actual view.

Federal law defines hate crime as a crime carried out because of “race”. Sharpton wants to remove the hurdle of “racial intent”; in essence changing the definition so that any crime committed by a non-black, against a black person, can be considered a federal crime.

Think about that for a moment.

Even while making the arrests, of suspected terrorists, the federal authorities maintain the air of political correctness:

“As alleged, the defendants looked to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant by flying to Turkey in a vain attempt to evade detection. And one of the defendants was prepared to commit acts of terror here —in America— if he could not travel, to include killing FBI agents.

The defendants violated the true tenants of their faith in pursuit of their radical, violent agenda. We rely on help from the community, the public, and religious leaders to be mindful of those who could be radicalized. We cannot do this alone,”….

Obviously the same sensitive definitions would not be allowed if the pesky jihadists were Amish…. so sayeth FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge Rodriguez. (more…)

(Via Campus Reform) MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said Monday that she hoped that Trayvon Martin “whooped the shit out of George Zimmerman.”

Harris-Perry’s remarks came Monday while speaking during Cornell University’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Lecture.

The event, which was first reported by The Cornell Review, was titled “We Can’t Breathe: The Continuing Consequences of Inequality,” and was meant to serve “as a thought-provoking reflection on contemporary race relations and the role the teachings of Dr. King should play today,” according to the Review. (Via CNN) Washington – A U.S. State Department official has arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex from a minor.

Daniel Rosen [pictured left at 2012 terrorism conference] was arrested Tuesday at his Washington DC home, police in Fairfax County, Virginia, said.

Authorities say Rosen had been communicating online with a female detective from the county’s child exploitation unit. The officer had been posing as a minor. When the detective arrived at Rosen’s home, he was arrested.

Police said the State Department was notified after the arrest. Rosen was taken to a Washington jail and will be extradited to Fairfax County.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said she is aware of the case but did not identify the arrested. (read more)

In a stunning political embarrassment Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel could not capture 50% of the primary vote in his re-election bid. This means he will face a runoff in seven weeks against challenger Jesus “Chuy” Garcia.

According to the Chicago Tribune: […] “With 98 percent of the city’s precincts counted, unofficial results showed Emanuel with 45.4 percent and Cook County commissioner Garcia at 33.9 percent. Businessman Willie Wilson had 10.6 percent, 2nd Ward Ald. Bob Fioretti had 7.4 percent and frequent candidate William “Dock” Walls was at 2.8 percent”.  (more)

Despite raising a war chest over $16 million, much of it spent on TV advertising, apparently Mayor Rahm Emanuel is facing the very real possibility of losing the election. This could be interesting.

The jury in the Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield capital murder trial has reached a verdict. Lawyers for defendant Eddie Routh have argued for a not guilty verdict by reason of insanity. The options are • Guilty • Not Guilty or • Not Guilty by reason for insanity.

UPDATE: The Verdict Is GUILTY

All of the attorneys and participants have been recalled back to the courtroom. We are awaiting the decision.

Ben Crump is half of the legal team from Parks and Crump law firm. Each of the previously mentioned cases were complete fabrications of “wrongful death“.

The Martin Lee Anderson (2006) and Trayvon Martin (2012 – Zimmerman) cases actually became criminal cases due to the claims of Ben Crump and the developing ‘Scheme Team”.  However, neither case resulted in a successful criminal prosecution.

Despite the failure of the Anderson and Zimmerman cases criminally, the State of Florida, and Bay County, did pay Crump off to go away in the Anderson case (State $5 million, Bay County $2.4 million).  Likewise an insurance carrier for the Zimmerman Home Owners Association paid Crump for the same reason in 2013 ($1.6 million).
