This didn’t make the CNN breaking news scroll because the victim was non-black. However, the circumstances are not disputed. Man who works in cat and dog insurance decides to be a good Samaritan and takes a stray cat to the animal shelter. The animal shelter demands ID from man as part of their policy. The man says that policy is ridiculous and refuses. The shelter tells the man he is not permitted to leave the premises, and the shelter calls the cops. The cops tell man he must show id. Man refuses. Cop shoots and kills man in animal shelter for non-compliance, then justifies his death by saying he’s one of those “sovereign citizen” types. Media? Yeah, right – Crickets Chirp. (ALABAMA) In late December of 2014, Robert Earl Lawrence, 30, in an act of compassion, took a stray cat to the Dothan Animal Shelter. What was a seemingly selfless act of kindness would subsequently end with Lawrence being fatally gunned down by a cop.
Almost four months after that fateful day, police have provided the public with no more answers than were given the day after the killing. They have maintained a blanket of virtual silence surrounding the incident. (more…)
Last week we shared the story of “Baby Big Boss”, the Memphis Elementary School (pre-teen) living the thug lifestyle. The images are stunning and alarming. Seeing kids as young as eight years old smoking pot and proudly holding up guns is alarming to 99% of America that just can’t relate. But it gets worse. Here’s the same city, same mentality, except now High School instead of Elementary School…. It only gets worse. Black Lives Matter ? MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) – A fight broke out in White Station High School on Tuesday afternoon. Several cell phone videos that caught the chaos are spreading on social media.
In the videos you can see dozens of girls punching, kicking, and stomping one another. School resource officers even got into the fray in an attempt to break up the fights, which appeared to have also spilled into classrooms.
The first video posted on social media shows the fight happening in the cafeteria.
“First, I saw teachers and security scattering over each other,” said 11th grader John Rork. “A couple of girls all over each other. I saw scratches, hair falling out, a lot of hair pulling. This one girl jumped off a table and pushed another student in the face.” (more…)
The group of protesters angry about the death of Freddy Gray (in hospital following being taken into police custody) were captured on live CNN TV coverage shouting their desires to kill in retaliation.
The advocacy for violent confrontation comes on the same day the same day police released the names of the officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray. Gray died of a spinal injury Sunday, exactly one week after he was taken into custody.
Earlier in the day, the Baltimore Police Department released the names of six police officers suspended with pay. They are: • Lt. Brian Rice, 41, who joined the department in 1997; • Officer Caesar Goodson, 45, who joined in 1999; • Sgt. Alicia White, 30, who joined in 2010; • Officer William Porter, 25, who joined in 2012; • Officer Garrett Miller, 26, who joined in 2012; and • Officer Edward Nero, 29, who joined in 2012. (more…)

Today in Mississippi – A man is dead after an early morning altercation with deputies, according to Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie.
Steven G. Davenport, 43, a white male, was pronounced dead at a local hospital this morning, Sollie said.
Deputies received a call of a disturbance around 3 a.m. between two individuals at a residence. When deputies arrived on scene, they attempted to resolve the situation, the sheriff said. (more…)

Apparently the group was armed during the event, and the primary agitator is to be considered “armed and dangerous”: UPDATE #2: Media now beginning to report on Eric Sheppard Jr and here’s a local news report showing him in a confrontation with police while lying about his threats and being armed.

Every single report is absolutely rife with wrong information bordering on intentional deception. These are just from today:

No longer willing to play second fiddle to Chicago, New York has re-entered the race to sit atop the infamous list of most dangerous cities.
NEW YORK, New York — Twenty people have been shot and one victim has died after shootings in NYC since Friday.
While it is still too early to tell how successful Mayor De Blasio will be in his quest to retake the mantle from Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel, it appears his policies to remove law and order are unleashing the strongest villains amid his societal construct.
[…] More than a dozen people were wounded Saturday night alone in NYC.
The rise in violence comes as Mayor de Blasio ends ‘stop and frisk’ practices, others blame warmer weather.
According to CBS New York, Saturday’s shootings wounded eight people in the Bronx, three in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. (link)

We shared this story yesterday. Apparently VSU’s activities are gaining a lot of attention, including the unwillingness of the campus “activist group” to identify themselves. Sunlight is the best disinfectant; but notice how many MSM stories are spinning the coverage to make Michelle Manhart the controversy instead of the “student group” marching on the USA flag for three days… wonder why that is?

VALDOSTA — A military veteran was detained but not charged by Valdosta State University police after she approached a group of protesters on campus who were walking on an American flag and took it from them. Michelle Manhart, an Air Force veteran, said she was not planning to take the flag from the group, but she had heard about the group’s recent campus demonstrations and wanted to take action.
“I did not want anything like this, but I got a call from a student who told me that the flag was on the ground, and they were walking on it,” said Manhart. “I was just going over there to pick up the flag off the ground. I don’t know what their cause is, but I went to pick it up because it doesn’t deserve to be on the ground.”
Manhart said she was taken into custody by VSU police officers who then returned the flag to the demonstrators. She admitted to The Valdosta Daily Times that she resisted arrest after seeing the flag being returned. (more…)

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Three people were shot and injured Saturday night at a cookout on the Delaware State University campus, officials said, and authorities are searching for the shooter.
The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. at a university-sanctioned fraternity and sorority event, DSU spokesman Carlos Holmes said.
Three people were taken to Kent General Hospital in Dover with injuries that were not life-threatening, Holmes told The Associated Press. DSU President Harry L. Williams said in a news release that the victims’ names have not been released and it isn’t clear whether they are Delaware State students.
No arrests had been made as of 2:30 a.m. EDT Sunday. Williams said students have been told to stay inside their dormitories. Non-students were asked to leave campus. (read more)
