Reminder: There are 7 decision announcements still anticipated including: King v. Burwell, in which the court must decide whether the 6.4 million people getting subsidies on the federal exchange to buy ObamaCare will be able to continue doing so; and Obergefell v. Hodges, where the court is being asked to decide whether bans on same-sex marriage are constitutional and whether states must recognize same-sex marriages performed legally in other states.  The Texas Housing v Inclusive Communities “disparate impact” decision is also possible.

That is exactly what the national media have done to an important story about the White House’s intimate working relationship with MIT professor Jonathan Gruber, who helped craft the Affordable Care Act. You may remember Gruber from his infamous videotapes, the ones in which he called the American public too stupid to understand the law. BREAKING: The Supreme Court has added two additional “decision days” to their calendar for the session ending next Monday June 29th.  They just added this upcoming Thursday and Friday.

There are 7 decision announcements still anticipated including:  King v. Obamacare sucks. Everything about it was based on lies, false presentations, and outright manipulative efforts from Democrats.

As a direct result of the worst legislation ever constructed the vast majority of Democrats have been running from it ever since it was signed into law. Democrats know know the toxic nature of the fraud they created. Higher insurance costs, lower healthcare services and financial impacts to the average person that are ridiculously unaffordable.

Obamacare is the primary drag on the economy and businesses, sucking money away from businesses and individuals. Hence Democrats have continually asked for delays in an effort to avoid the political consequences. Here’s another:

(Via Daily Caller) A group of Democratic senators is urging the Obama administration to delay a key portion of Obamacare because the results could be “harmful and disruptive.”

In a letter exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller, Senate Democrats pleaded with Health and Human Services secretary Sylvia Matthews Burwell to delay an Obamacare rule change that puts companies with 51 to 100 employees in the costlier “small group” market instead of the “large group” market. The rule change, which will result in higher premiums for many companies, goes into effect in 2016. (more…)

Essentially by sending the HHS appeal back to the lower court SCOTUS is saying we’ve already ruled on this matter with Hobby Lobby and the religious exemption is already upheld. The HHS injunction against the Roman Catholic University is null.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday threw out an appeals court decision that went against the University of Notre Dame over its religious objections to the Obamacare health law’s contraception requirement.

The justices asked the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider its decision in favor of the Obama administration in light of the June 2014 Supreme Court ruling that allowed closely held corporations to seek exemptions from the provision. (more…)

ACA Author Jonathan Gruber begs to differ….

WASHINGTON DC – The Supreme Court appeared divided Wednesday along ideological lines after hearing a challenge of ObamaCare tax subsidies that, if struck down, could affect up to 8 million policy holders.

The liberal justices peppered Michael Carvin, the lawyer for the health law challengers, with skeptical questions almost from the outset over his argument to limit the subsidies.

When Solicitor General Donald Verrilli Jr. — who represents the Obama administration — stepped to the lectern, the liberal justices fell silent, and Justices Samuel Alito and Antonin Scalia took over. (more…)

Given the entire foundation surrounding Jonathan Gruber’s expertise is based on lies, deceptions and false presentations, does it really come as a surprise that he billed various state governments for products and services he neither produced nor serviced?

Vermont got “Grubered” !

According to Vermont Media: Vermont officials ignored “obvious signs” of problematic billing by health care economist Jonathan Gruber, the state auditor said in a memo released Monday.

Gruber’s invoices lacked important details and claimed dubious numbers of work hours as he prepared economic models for a single-payer health care system — but state officials failed to scrutinize the invoices, Auditor Doug Hoffer wrote.

Yesterday someone posted this story on my Facebook news feed.  Checking on the internet, there are appearances of this same story a year ago, at least one website said that they had verified the insurance rates for the income parameters mentioned and, apparently, it was making the email rounds.  I searched Snopes to see if it appears there, but did not find it.  Don’t know who wrote this, but it seems to match reports that others have recounted about their experiences with the ACA state insurance exchanges.  The information about health care provided for illegal aliens is particularly interesting.
