On Thursday, Mr. Obama dropped by American University for a heart to heart with Chris Matthews, and the MSNBC host wondered who in the executive branch is responsible for the botched health-care rollout. Could Mr Peanut have been excluded from invite because it was his administration who designated Nelson Mandela as an international terrorist?    Hmmmmmm….

By now almost everyone is aware of the “exclusive” MSNBC/Chris Matthews interview with President Obama on Thursday.

However, many may not know the venue,  American University’s Greenberg Theatre, was previously booked by a 7 and 8-year-old dance troupe, Ballet Petite, to present their Christmas Nutcracker Ballet under a $25,000 contract.   A contract the university cancelled/dismissed without any consideration.  The university just told the troupe and the parents, “tough”.
…Because when it comes to exclusive propaganda no previous commitments are bold enough to break the demands of the sycophants.
(Via Washington Post)  The fight for Christmas took a hit this week when politics bigfooted  a troupe of adorable little ballet dancers performing “The  Nutcracker.”
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is scheduled to interview  President Obama on Thursday night at American University as part of the  “Hardball College Tour.” MSNBC approached AU to host the chat, and  officials jumped at the chance for a free, hour-long commercial for the  university and its students.
But the interview, announced Tuesday morning, abruptly kicked the  Ballet Petite’s rehearsals of ”The Nutcracker” out of AU’s Greenberg  Theatre. That didn’t sit well with the ballet school’s staff, teachers  and parents who have been preparing for the performance for months. (more…)

Apartheid, as a political structure, was wrong.  Oppression is always wrong.  It is antithetical to Freedom.   However, as much as Apartheid was antithetical to freedom of the majority – so to is Mob Democracy antithetical to freedom of the minority.

NEVER LET A GOOD CRISIS GO TO WASTE:   The left needs a boost in the U.S.   Their progressive ideological systems, and subsequent sales pitches, are fraying under the now visible weight of consequence – most notably with Obamacare.
Expect to see a significant attempt to *use* the death of Nelson Mandela to pump up the associated progressive causes; the Che Guevara of Africa.
The claims of victimization, inherent in the ideological goals of the progressive left, need emotional boost to maintain their disconnect from the sunlight of actual and truthful consequence.     Nelson Mandela’s death presents an opportunity to return to the use of emotionally connected Cultural Marxism to advance their cause.
It will be large, it will be massive, it will be substantial – and it will take place using the full weight of the progressive left, the professional grievance industry, labor unions, socialists, communists, marxists and all forms of radical left-wing ideology. (more…)

When Obama was proclaiming he was going to be “transparent”, I doubt the listeners actually understood what he was saying. For Dear Leader Obama, it’s always about Dear Leader Obama.
First we start with the “I”, “I”, “I”, speech about how Obama himself was the really important figure, the epicenter of anti-apartheid sentiment in South Africa, and how “he” thought of that other, now dead, Mandela guy.  (skip the video to the 2:00 minute mark)

BOSTON –  President Obama acknowledged on Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than a year ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

Their relationship came into question on Tuesday at the deportation hearing of his uncle, Onyango Obama, in Boston immigration court. His uncle had lived in the United States illegally since the 1970s and revealed in testimony for the first time that his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation.
On Thursday, a White House official said the press office [Robert Gibbs] had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe that they had no record of the two meeting. This time, the press office [Jay Carney] asked the president directly, which they had not done in 2011.  (link)

Is the bloom off the ruse?   Still too early to tell, and the mellennials have repeatedly shown a remarkable propensity to be duped and manipulated (see: Sandra Fluke et al) so until we see consistency from Jon Stewart’s watchers, meh.
WASHINGTON DC – The Obama thrill is gone among America’s millennials, those aged 18-29, just a year after they helped the president win a second term.

A new and shocking poll from Harvard University’s Institute of Politics released Wednesday found that younger Americans are so disgusted with President Obama, Congress, and the troubled Obamacare system, that 47 percent support recalling the president and just 29 percent are planning to sign up for health insurance.
“A critical factor in the election and reelection of Barack Obama, America’s 18- to 29- year-olds now rate the president’s job performance closer to that of Congress – and at the lowest level since he took office in 2009,” said Harvard Institute of Politics Director Trey Grayson.
How bad? Obama’s approval rating among millennials is just 41 percent. Even young blacks are tiring of the president, with his approval rating among African Americans dropping from 84 percent seven months ago to 75 percent today.  (read more)

So we’ll skip the hypocrisy of the German family being deported -because they want to homeschool their children- against the criminal uncle of President Obama who just received legal residency status, and focus on one aspect of this story from Boston.

Within a Boston Globe article outlining the Obama story we find this apparent contradiction:

During the hearing, Onyango Obama testified, “I do have a nephew. He’s the president of the United States.”

He also contradicted the White House’s assertion that the president had never met him. Onyango Obama testified that his nephew lived with him in Cambridge for three weeks while the future president was a student at Harvard Law School in the late 1980s. (link)
