It was really a no-brainer going into the entire fiasco of a ridiculously political impeachment effort. The number of republican senators not running for reelection just gained another name today. Senators Richard Burr (NC), Ron Johnson (WI), Pat Toomey (PA), and Rob Portman (OH) previously stated they were not going to seek reelection; now Senator Richard Shelby (AL) makes the same announcement.
They know the American electorate can see both wings of the UniParty vulture now.

“Today I announce that I will not seek a seventh term in the United State Senate in 2022. For everything, there is a season,” Shelby said in a statement.

Well, first having sat in a room with the legislative staff, top people who actually write the briefs and inform both congressional representatives on House Committees and Senate Committees, including the chiefs-of-staff for the chairs, it was clear they did not even know the information from within their own research when spread over time. Accepting this reality leads one to a natural conclusion… they don’t know, because they choose not to know… & they choose not to know, because everything is a pantomime for public display.
With the elite financial class being increasingly exposed over the past 72 hours; and with the collusion between Big Tech and Wall Street in the public spotlight; and knowing the elite Washington DC establishment is a part of that entire corrupt system; and with millions of Americans more able to accept the scale of the issues; perhaps this is a moment to remind ourselves how the BIG CLUB works to deceive under false pretense.
Washington DC is part of the corrupt Wall Street, K-Street, Big Bank, and BIG TECH system. Everything within that system is self-serving and done deliberately with the intent to maintain a particular status for the people within it. During senate impeachment rules processes and parliamentary proceedings today, Senator Rand Paul proposed a smart point of order requiring a senate vote on dismissing the impeachment case against President Trump. Essentially this dismissal vote will reflect the baseline, worst case, final outcome, vote of any impeachment trial.
The Senate then took up a motion to table the dismissal point of order. The motion to table passed 55-45; meaning 55 senators want to impeach President Donald Trump and 45 senators voted to dismiss the entire case:
The good news is this will represent the worst case scenario on the final impeachment vote 55 yes / 45 nay. The impeachment will definitely fail in February, and President Trump now knows the disposition of the final outcome. [Though it could get better]
The bad news is 5 republican senators just voted to impeach President Trump. They are: Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Mitt Romney (Utah), Ben Sasse (Nebraska), and Pat Toomey (Pennsylvania).
Murkowski and Toomey are both up for reelection in 2022. However, Pat Toomey has indicated he is not running for reelection. So the most immediate 2022 target should be on Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

Friday afternoon House Speaker Nancy Pelosi confirmed she will be sending an article of impeachment against President Trump to the senate on Monday. Chuck Schumer confirms the senate trial will likely take place next week.
Any GOP Senator who goes along with this insufferably political scheme to target former President Trump will face a primary challenge in their next election. We will ensure.
