Tonight at 8:00pm ET the fifth Democrat presidential debate will take place in Charleston, South Carolina. The debate is sponsored by CBS and will broadcast on CBS networks.
The debate will include: former Vice President Joe Biden; former New York Mayor Mini-Mike Bloomberg; former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Amy Klobuchar and billionaire Tom Steyer.
There will be no opening or closing statements, but all candidates will get a closing question. Candidates will have one minute and 15 seconds to answer direct questions and 45 seconds for rebuttals.
CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell and CBS pundit Gayle King will moderate the debate; with additional questioning by “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan, chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett and “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrive in India shortly before noon local time (1:10am ET). On arrival at the Ahmedabad airport, the first couple will head straight to Sabarmati Ashram. The Trumps will reach the venue of the “Namaste Trump Rally” at the newly built Motera cricket stadium after being serenaded along the route by artists and floats, depicting India’s diversity.   President Trump will deliver a speech at the Namaste Trump welcome rally 1:15pm local / 2:45am ET.
The US President will then leave for Agra, arriving at just before 5:00pm local (6:30am ET) to take in the view of the Taj Mahal silhouetted against a setting sun. Cars are not allowed to be drive down to the Taj, alternative arrangements for Trump remain to be seen. Tonight’s lineup will feature Sleepy Joe Biden, Goofy Pete Buttigieg, Dopey Amy Klobuchar, Crazy Bernie Sanders, Grumpy Tom Steyer, Fibber Elizabeth Warren and Flopy Andrew Yang. The House Managers and President Trump defense team have presented their case and defense of impeachment.  Closing arguments are now completed.  Tonight and tomorrow the Senate has scheduled regular quorum for debate.
This phase is pure partisan politics. Each of the 100 senators will be allowed ten minutes for remarks tonight and tomorrow prior to the impeachment vote at 4:00pm Wednesday.

• Monday: 4:00pm Senate, regular session, floor speeches begin.
• Tuesday: 11:00am full day of floor speeches.  Each Senator limited to ten minutes.
• Wednesday: 4:00pm – A final vote on the articles of impeachment.
