President Trump gave an exclusive interview to Maria Bartiromo on Friday at the White House. The wide-ranging interview aired earlier today on Fox News – Sunday Morning Futures. Ms. Bartiromo generally does good interviews, especially when the topics are economics, taxes and finance.
There’s something unfortunately familiar in the pattern of explosive controversies and headlines-that-go-nowhere… The DC UniParty always defends itself. The latest scandal du jour seems to surround the criminal enterprise known as “Uranium One”.
There is indeed a scandal within the entire construct of a payoff to the Clinton’s via a corporation connected to Russians and bribes, kick-backs, and ultimately a payoff; and there are some newly outlined details from within the FBI investigating the companies and entities associated with the deal. However, all of these “BOOM” headlines are not new.

Fox News host Sean Hannity reveals the stunningly explosive scandal he has been hinting toward for weeks and weeks. Joined once again by fellow explosive story seller Sara Carter, Hannity outlines the most incredible, scandalous, explosive, controversy, in history.
Earlier today President Trump surprised the media with a joint Rose Garden press conference with President Trump and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. The combative media were in full frenzied form as they peppered their Presidential Nemesis with argumentative questions for 40 minutes.
As customary, President Trump effortlessly swatted away the media scuds while making his podium guest, McConnell, transparently nervous and riddled with anxiety. Amid the glorious sunlight – the turtle head couldn’t retract into his defensive shell.
In essence it was, yet again, a MAGAnificent presser:
CTH has noted on several occasions that many of Puerto Rico’s 78 municipal authorities control their regions in a similar fashion to mafioso families. There is a tremendous amount of corruption within the ranks of “Mayors” on the island. The entire system of governance is more accurately similar to third-world overlords.
This report on FEMA aid being corrupted by these same officials does not come as a surprise; indeed, unfortunately, it is the norm – not the exception.

(Puerto Rico) FBI agents in Puerto Rico have been receiving calls from “across the island” with residents complaining local officials are “withholding” or “mishandling” critical FEMA supplies — with one island official even accused of stuffing his own car full of goods meant for the suffering populace.
The accusations come in the aftermath of deadly Hurricane Maria, which devastated the U.S. territory last month.
“The complaints we’re hearing is that mayors of local municipalities, or people associated with their offices, are giving their political supporters special treatment, goods they’re not giving to other people who need them,” FBI Special Agent Carlos Osorio told Fox News.

President Trump has been working on an alternative regulatory policy initiative to workaround the lack of congressional action on healthcare. Today President Trump unveils the MAGA healthcare initiative that allows HHS to permit groups of people to form “Health Associations” and seek competitive health insurance options across state lines.
One of the biggest benefits to allowing “Health Associations” is that the group policies will not be bound to the same ObamaCare insurance mandates and will likely be lower-cost insurance products. This isn’t a government mandate. It isn’t a subsidy. It isn’t a tax. Rather, it is the removal of government regulation and barriers to the best possible health care for millions of people.
There is a myriad of complexity within the Iran issue that extends beyond the substantive issue of whether or not President Trump should again certify compliance with the Iran Nuclear Deal.
For clarity, President Trump would not be ending the deal or ending the agreement. The President is required (every 90 days) to certify if Iran is upholding the terms of the nuclear agreement. The next certification is due on October 15th. If President Trump does not, because he cannot, certify compliance – he notifies congress. It’s up to congress to decide what to do from there.
Therefore President Trump would not be “tearing up” the agreement, nor would he be “ending the agreement”, he would simply be notifying congress of the compliance of Iran, or lack thereof, according to the monitoring agencies that report to the President. That’s it. Now to Senator Tom Cotton. Watch:
