Update #1: How about “Leah’s House” as alternative location for tribute?  This is where Jessica went for support, restoration, healing and comfort.   Please let me know your thoughts in comments – my heart is heavy, and we’re searching for a way to turn adversity into a positive outcome. 

As UNBELIEVABLE as it sounds, the Panola County Sheriffs office is refusing to allow any flowers to be left as the roadside where 19-year-old Jessica Lane Chambers was brutally murdered on December 6th.

In an incredibly insensitive position, according to Mrs. “Robbie” (Robbie W. Haley is Administrative Assistant to the Sheriff 662-563-6230) within the Panola Sheriff’s Office, nothing will be allowed, and anything left to memorialize Jessica Lane Chambers will be removed immediately by the Sheriff’s department personnel.
The Sheriff’s assistant tells Ashley (our contact in Courtland) *she should give the collected money to the family -and- any flowers must be placed graveside. Nothing additional to draw memory to Jessica Chambers will be permitted by the Sheriffs office. (more…)

Thank You For Honoring Jessica Lane Chambers

The dark place where Jessica was attacked will soon light up with expressions of YOUR CARING.  Due to overwhelmingly wonderful response, the Lowes Garden Center in Batesville (near Courtland) has been wiped clean of flowers, plants and mini-trees all purchased for Jessica Lane Chambers.
Logistically, in addition to rounding all of those up, Ashley ( @ashleyryna9 ) is working with a local florist (662-563-7658) to make special wreaths and cut flowers bouquets to join with bears, candles and more to present a loving tribute on behalf of people from coast to coast who refuse to allow her name to be forgotten.

DeAndre Joshua (Ferguson, Missouri), Jessica Chambers (Courtland, Mississippi) now another in North Memphis area of Millington, TN.  Pattern?

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (FOX13) – Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a body that was found in a burning pickup truck Thursday afternoon on Mudville Road in Millington.
A sheriff spokesman said a witness saw a pick-up on fire just after 4 p.m. in the 7800 block of Mudville Road.

When deputies and first responders arrived they found a body inside the pickup truck, which was found down in a ditch.
It is unclear if the body is male or female.  The body was found in the passenger side of the pickup truck, SCSO spokesman Chip Washington said. They are considering this as suspicious. (more…)

Remember, he was the gas station owner, until his father, Mohammed Fadhel realized that various aspects of professional licensing and registrations would get him in hot water with numerous regulatory agencies – for a 19-year-old owner/operator of M&M First Stop gas station selling beer, wine, tobacco, lottery etc.
Subsequently Ali Alsanai, aka Basem Alsanai, aka Ali Fadhel, was quickly turned into “a clerk”.
Watch this video and see how many concerns and contradictions you notice.

♦  He claims the burned vehicle was brought to him at 9:00 to 10:00pm less than an hour after the crime scene.

Several people have noted that no temporary memorial exists to recognize the horrific murder of Jessica Lane Chambers.  No teddy bears, no flowers, no candles, nothing.
As if it’s all just part of something too horrible, too troubling – something no-one wants to recognize let alone be reminded of.

So we’re doing something about it.

A few hours ago we began to reach out via twitter.  A genuinely kind person in the Courtland community has willingly heard our request and has stepped in to help.
Ashley ” @ashleyryna9 ” on twitter will be delivering flowers, a wreath and poinsettias on behalf of the Treehouse Community.  A florist is going to make the wreath.  We have also contacted the local Lowes manager Bryan Smith, in Batesville, (1-662-710-1000) who has around 200 poinsettias on hand.
We’re doing it up right.  She deserves it.  She deserves to be remembered. (more…)

Jessica Lane Chambers – Open Discussion Research Thread

District Attorney John Champion moves from “nah, we don’t have gangs” on 12/9/14, to “well, we might have a problem with gangs“, on 12/17/14, “but doesn’t everybody“?

According to the 19-year-old M&M Gas Station “Owner”, turned “Operator”, now described as “Clerk”, Jessica Lane Chambers bought $14 in gas the night she was murdered. Usually, according to the same principal, she only purchased $4-$5 in gas per trip.
Which spawned numerous people to ask:

Who buys $14 in gas?

Simple answer, a teen buying a pack of smokes. Video of the gas station shows a price of $5.30 + tax. Mississippi tax 7% total purchase $5.67. Hand the clerk a $20 and put the rest in the gas tank. Prior trips, hand the clerk a $10 and do the same.
Like many of the questions surrounding Jessica Lane Chambers, the simplest answers are the most correct. What’s less understandable is why so many people in and around Courtland have severe aversion to the spotlight of media.

12/16/14 we know the FBI and ATF agents along with federal Marshalls are now on the ground in Courtland Mississippi investigating the death of Jessica Lane Chambers. Wagonloads of Govt Tagged SUVs line and circle the Sheriffs office. Justice will be found.

If it were not for the leads you all have assembled, and the sunlight brought by all of the people demanding Justice on her behalf, the resources would not be on the ground to bring her killer(s) to account. According to new reports the CCTV recording system is now in the hands of the FBI forensics team. (more…)
