Notes: ♦ Sheriff Darby gives the article information. ♦ Many “assisting” personnel have left – we reconciled this yesterday.
Still no accurate identification of: •Who is the lead investigator? •Who has custody of CCTV? •When did Darby first find out about case on 12/6/14? •When did Darby first visit scene? •Who was responsible for crime scene? etc….
(Via Therese Apel, The Clarion-Ledger) – While investigators are still mum on the specifics of the probe into the death of Jessica Chambers, the Panola County teen burned to death earlier this month, they say they’re making slow and steady progress.
Chambers, 19, was found on Herron Road in Courtland a little after 8 p.m. Dec. 6, walking away from her burning vehicle with burns over 98 percent of her body. Coroner Gracie Gulledge said the cause of the young woman’s death was thermal injury. Officials immediately classified it as a homicide.
With several agencies including the Panola County Sheriff’s Department, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, the ATF, the State Fire Marshal’s office, and the US Marshals Service involved, Sheriff Dennis Darby said a lot of the investigation operates on looking at the same information, witnesses, evidence and statements from many different angles. The local media in/around Panola County Mississippi have been weak at best in finding even the most simple answers to the most basic of questions.

In an effort to spur some additional information we have asked local media personality Therese Apel some basic and rudimentary questions.
@TRex21 Who, specifically, is the lead investigator of the #JessicaChambers case?

Many people were wondering how the U.S. Marshalls office was so quick to join the murder investigation of Jessica Lane Chambers considering the U.S. Marshalls rarely, if ever, join murder cases that are not connected to federal officials or federal threats therein. Perhaps this FBI release explains their involvement.
As elvis, walter, czar and others had previously stated, the Chambers murder would provide a convenient cover for an ongoing regional investigation that was only indirectly connected. Occam’s Razor would indicate they were correct. The sunlight upon the Panola County Yemen angle may indeed have accidentally exposed something already being watched.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) – – The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Memphis Division is warning police officers about a threat to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge sometime in December. FOX13 News obtained the FBI bulletin sent to Mid-South Law Enforcement agencies warning about a possible Islamic State terror plot targeting the I-55 Bridge.
“According to an anonymous complainant, as of December 2014, ISIS instructed an ISIS member, a presumed USPER in Memphis, with a direct order to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas bridge on an unknown date, activating ISIS terror cells in the United States,” the warning reads. (more…)
Rudds, Sanfords, Gangster Disciples, Vice Lords, “7-4”, it’s all right there slowly coming to the surface; meanwhile Panola County DA Champion and Sheriff Darby try desperately to keep a lid on it.
The gang issues such as gang drugs, gang robberies, gang violence, gang rapes, prostitution and gang murder, may not be a direct straight line connection to Jessica’s brutal murder- however, they are absolutely circling the entire Panola County community as this horrible case continues to go unsolved. The gangs are thriving, the community is in crisis, and both sides of law enforcement are wilfully blind….

….Nothing to see here,… move along,… move along folks!
JACKSON, Miss. – It’s been over two weeks now since someone doused Jessica Chambers with fire and burned her alive on a rural Panola County road; and still that person has not been arrested and police say they are getting few leads.
“It’s very possible the criminal element has such a strangle hold, if you will, that people are fearful to talk,” said Herold Gray with the Madison and Rankin Counties District Attorney office. “There is significant gang presence, statewide, particularly in that area. Whether not its part of this case remains to be seen.”

In an effort to focus some of the prior analysis, and with an understanding that this specific event has a community aspect different from traditional research, it is important to understand the social elements prior to looking at the psychology of the event itself.
With that we’re going to widen the scope while narrowing the focus. Let’s start with the social elements, aided by a friend of the treehouse’s endeavors, and exposing a little of myself in the process.

While many are seeking justice for Jessica, it is also part of the larger objective to insure that Jessica’s death was not in vain – and for her name not to be forgotten.
Toward that effort, first it is important to say thank you for working to keep Jessica’s story in the public consciousness. Simultaneously her story reflects upon on a much bigger picture, a dark and seemingly corrupt County. We begin today by first sharing some information and data assembled around Panola County, Mississippi.
In order to understand how everything ties together, you have to look at Panola County as a “Whole”. Standing back and reviewing historical media we find that “small town, big corruption” is not just limited to Courtland, but also extends outward through Como, Sardis, Batesville, and Pope – all located within Panola County, MS. PANOLA CO, MS (WMC) – It’s been nearly two weeks, but now a memorial sits where someone set Jessica Chambers and her car on fire in Panola County, Mississippi.
A group of supporters raised money online to put toward the flowers.
The poinsettias sit where yellow crime scene tape and charred tree bark scarred the landscape once was. Though police previously asked that people not place memorials at the site to avoid possible road hazards, the individuals say they received permission from authorities.
Investigators have questioned more than 100 people, but they have not named a single person of interest or made any arrests. (more…)
Perhaps it’s just an increase in awareness, but since the night when Mike Brown’s step-dad Louis Head kicked off the local Saint Louis riots -with his requests to “burn these bitches”- there appears to be a marked increase in the numbers and scope of murder by fire throughout the Mid-Eastern part of the U.S.

♦ The first victim noticed was DeAndre Joshua who was burned in his vehicle in the Canfield Greens apartment complex not far from where Mike Brown was shot and killed. His late November autopsy results showed he was shot first and then lit on fire, in an apparent gang related attack on the same night of the grand jury verdict.
♦ On December 6th in Courtland, Mississippi, 19-year-old victim Jessica Lane Chambers was burned alive in her vehicle.
♦ A week later another burned body was found just outside Memphis on another roadway, with a pick-up truck set ablaze. Unknown victim.
♦ Last night, in the Saint Louis area two more people were attacked with fire. Just north of Saint Louis, a man was set ablaze in a portable toilet:

PANOLA COUNTY, Miss.
(<—video at Link) – Someone fatally lit Jessica Chambers on fire along a country road two weeks ago this weekend.
Still, there have been no arrests so far.
District Attorney John Champion confirmed Friday that there are no official updates in the investigation.
Champion shared that private donors contributed an additional $800 to the reward fund for information, bringing the total to $16,800.
The “Justice for Jessica” Facebook page launched a fundraising effort this week to contribute money to the reward fund as well.
Champion said officials are asking that people do not leave flower memorials at the murder site for road safety reasons. Instead, Champion said people could donate to the reward fund if they so choose. (more…)
