Tripwire Alert – The Splitter Strategy Now Evolves To Focus on Alliances…

Have you noticed Chris Christie being elevated by the same corporate media machine previously elevating Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio ?  This is not coincidental.

GOP candidates mashup

The problem for the GOPe Road Map has been the dominance of Donald Trump in disrupting their initial goals to nominate Jeb Bush with 10-20% of the primary vote.

Trump, as a populist “America First” frontrunner nominee was just never anticipated in their construct.

As soon as Trump eliminated the “splitter strategy” benefit – various GOPe approaches were deployed to overcome The Donald.   However, almost all of the subsequent maneuvers failed as Trump gained a more broad coalition of support.

The GOPe campaign road map has now evolved into a concerted effort to group a non-Trump coalition, this is why no “splitter” candidate is being urged to withdraw.

BREAKING – Fox Poll: Donald Trump Dominates – Jumps Another 11% Since Latest Debate, Carson Falls…

Post Debate Poll

Fox will be forced to present this poll result (full pdf below) but you can be guaranteed they will downplay it as much as possible.   The fact remains the visible support of Donald Trump with tens-of-thousands of supporters at rallies forces the corporate media into an uncomfortable position: They don’t want to admit the obvious, yet they have no choice.

Donald Trump with 39% support gains an additional 11 points since last Fox National polling and now holds more than double the next closest competitor, Cruz (18).

New National Poll – Donald Trump Makes Biggest Gains To Date, Ben Carson Biggest Drop….

A new national poll from PPP released today (full pdf below) contains a significant amount of highly interesting internal data including head-to-head match ups showing Donald Trump beating each of the other GOP candidates and holding the most broad base of total electorate support.

Two key takeaways from the “top line” data are Trump gaining (w/ this polling) his largest amount of support in a single poll change (gaining 8%); and simultaneously Ben Carson in complete free-fall out of the top tier (dropping 13%), both in less than a month.

The internals also show Ted Cruz beating Marco Rubio in head-to-head matchups.  However, Donald Trump beats them both head-to-head, and in three or four-way splits.

FOX’s Brett Baier Targets Senator Ted Cruz for Immigration Lies…

Fox News and Brett Baier go on offense to protect/assist Senator Marco Rubio and diminish Senator Ted Cruz – the transparency of the GOPe media agenda in this interview is obvious.

Fox has a well documented vested interest in both Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush. Tonight Brett Baier calls out Cruz on several issues.  Here’s a short version (longer version below):

The same polling showed the biggest loser to be Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and John Kasich respectively.

Having sat through both the under card debate and the prime-time debate I would disagree a bit with the polling on the losers.  Lindsey Graham and George Pataki were the biggest losers of the first debate their unbridled, and often emotional, instability was on full display. (more…)

CNN Prime-Time Republican Debate – Open Discussion Thread…

The CNN prime-time debate begins at 8:30pm – It is broadcast on all CNN media outlets and is available HERE:

cnn debate lineup 12-13

Please share your comments and perspectives in the comment section.

It is anticipated the CNN approach will be to frame everything around overt and covert attacks against the GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

Toward that end it makes sense Chris Christie was placed in the prime-time debate as a GOPe/RNC tool.  If the debate qualifications to allow Christie into the prime-time debate had not taken place there would only have been 7 candidates on the stage with Donald Trump.  Both Christie and Rand Paul would have been bumped down. CNN Announces Debate Lineup – Keeps NINE Candidate In Prime-Time Debate…

Despite almost everyone agreeing the GOP debates need to be trimmed to the top 5, 6, or 7 – CNN has decided, yet again, to put nine candidates on the prime-time debate stage and four remain at the lower-tier debate.

(Rand Paul previously hinted that if he was not on the prime-time stage he would withdraw):

However, again the notation: these poll numbers were BEFORE Donald Trump’s proposal to halt Muslim immigration pending further review.   It is virtually certain, with all the other candidates standing in opposition to Trump on this issue, Trump’s polling numbers are significantly higher – even the progressive pundits admit this reality. Jeb!: Mr. Trump is Playing The Media “like a fine Stradivarius violin”…

bush seriousnessNew Hampshire – […]  The former Florida governor came ready to tee off on Trump in the wake of the furor surrounding the billionaire’s proposal.

He mentioned Trump by name only once in the town hall but scheduled a press availability afterwards — a scrum that was guaranteed to focus almost exclusively on Trump’s controversial plan.

Bush asserted that Trump’s proposal was a play for attention, telling members of the media:

….Trump is playing the media ‘like a fine Stradivarius violin’….  ~ Jeb!
