[HatTip GatewayPundit for some particulars] – I hope EVERYONE watches the accompanying videos.  It is imperative that EVERYONE understands the full-throated attack currently underway by our own government.   Only by fully understanding the scope of the issue can you fully absorb the danger in front of us. 

The testimony today on capitol hill was blood boiling to say the least. During hearings about IRS targeting of conservative groups, which unlike President Obama’s claim appears fraught with political scandal, some of the victims began to lay out the details of the attacks they have endured.

One of those victims is Mrs. Catherine Engelbrecht. Catherine Eghelbrecht is a conservative activist, Tea Party member and founder of True the Vote. Mrs. Engelbrecht, outlined how she has been the specific target of FOUR federal agencies (The FBI, IRS, ATF and OSHA) along with one Texas State agency (EPA).

Prior to her founding of True The Vote, as a simple business person, she was never on the federal radar. However, as soon as she engaged in advocacy for her beliefs she was targeted by the “weaponization of government”. 14 IRS audits of personal and business finances, 4 times visited by the FBI as a ‘domestic risk’, 3 times visited by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and two audits by The Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The intent was to craft IRS rules and regulations without public purview.  “Off Plan” means absent of public or organizational input.

WASHINGTON – Documents obtained by the House Ways and Means Committee show that IRS officials first started flagging Tea Party applications for tax-exempt status in February 2010 because of “media attention,” and that Treasury and IRS officials had discussed potentially addressing the tax-exemption rules for such groups “off-plan,” meaning “hidden from the public,” said Committee Chariman Dave Camp (R-Mich.).

In a hearing on the IRS-Tea Party scandal on Wednesday, Chairman Camp questioned IRS Commissioner John Koskinen about the Treasury Department apparently crafting rules to limit the ability of conservative and Tea Party groups to get 501(c)4 exemptions to engage in public debate. (more…)

Last week House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan said they’ve discovered the assigned head of the IRS probe was Barbara Kay Bosserman. Bosserman is a DOJ trial lawyer in the Justice Department who donated more than $6,000 to Mr. Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, as well as several hundred dollars to the national Democratic Party.

Now this week: WASHINGTON DC – The Federal Bureau of Investigation doesn’t plan to file criminal charges over the Internal Revenue Service’s heightened scrutiny of conservative groups, according to law-enforcement officials, a move that likely will only intensify debate over the politically charged scandal.

The officials said investigators didn’t find the kind of political bias or “enemy hunting” that would amount to a violation of criminal law. Instead, what emerged during the probe was evidence of a mismanaged bureaucracy enforcing rules about tax-exemption applications it didn’t understand, according to the law-enforcement officials. Because he does not want to comply with the “electronic medical records” aspect of ObamaCare.   This doctor, in a town of 11,000, is closing up shop.    The cost to upgrade his office to fully compliant electronic records is viewed to be cost prohibitive.
Predictions:  #1.  This doctor will continue a cash practice outside of the insurance mandates.  #2.  Dr Stephen Kiteck will have an IRS audit confirmed within 60 days.

Perhaps Rick Santelli is the modern architect of the Fiscal Tea Party.  It was his epic rant on TV, around the stimulus and bailout bills, which visibly gave birth to a righteous awakening of people who realized he was expressing their very concerns.
A year ago, like many others – including us, Santelli smelled something afoot with the strange employment numbers just prior to the election.   He was attacked mercilessly by the left and the right who labeled him an “unemployment truther”.   Yesterday, given the revelation the Census Dept. was actually fudging the figures, Santelli framed his righteous vindication.

The irony is the outlined target audience, the “twentysomething” Obama-voting crowd….
