Hurricane Sally Wobbles Northwest in Gulf Coast Region – 100mph Winds, Dangerous Storm Surge…

Hurricane Sally is now holding with 100mph winds and slowly moving (5mph) toward the West Northwest near the coastal region of the western Florida Panhandle.

The outer bands of Sally are moving onshore in the Florida Panhandle. Life-Threatening Storm Surge, Hurricane-Force Winds, and Flash Flooding Likely Along Portions of the Northern Gulf Coast Starting Later Tonight and Tuesday.

Residents in Western Florida, Alabama coastal area, Mississippi coastal area and Eastern Louisiana should pay close attention.  All hurricane preparations should be rushed to completion. The storm is expected to turn north, but the timing is uncertain.  The wind field is small; however, due to the slow movement the storm surge is a great concern.

Hurricane Center – Sally is moving toward the west-northwest near 5 mph (8 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Tuesday morning. A northward turn is likely by Tuesday afternoon, and a slow north-northeastward to northeastward motion is expected Tuesday night through Wednesday night.

On the forecast track, the center of Sally will move near the coast of southeastern Louisiana tonight and Tuesday, and make landfall in the hurricane warning area Tuesday night or Wednesday.

Fast Moving Hurricane Laura Moves Inland – 670,000+ Without Power…

Laura made landfall near the Texas-Louisiana border overnight (Cameron, LA) as a Cat-4 hurricane with a maximum sustained wind speed of 150 mph. At least 670,000+ residents in Louisiana and Texas are without power as of Thursday afternoon as officials worked to recover in the wake of coastal storm surges and destructive flash flooding. Louisiana has the bulk of the outages with 554,000, while Texas reports around 138,000.

Anyone who needs help, feel free to reach out in the comments section or send us an email and we will do everything we can to assist. CTH also has an admin in zone; prayers continue.  The full Louisiana National Guard has been activated to respond.

Drug Cartels Say Coronavirus Creating Narcotic Shortages…

Shortfalls in the illicit drug trade could be very problematic for the DNC who receive funding through Mexican drug cartels.  Apparently, according to the cartels, the coronavirus is having an impact.  Will Speaker Pelosi look for bailout options?

Additionally the U.S. military operation to target illicit drugs is entering its fourth week creating even more havoc in the system.

NEW YORK (AP) — Coronavirus is dealing a gut punch to the illegal drug trade, paralyzing economies, closing borders and severing supply chains in China that traffickers rely on for the chemicals to make such profitable drugs as methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Big Tech and State Governors Begin Initiating COVID-19 Tracking App…

An interesting share from [It’s5O’ClockSomewhere] that outlines what will likely become the standard COVID-19 compliance request from many state offices. It appears this is a voluntary registration; however, in the era of fear and alarm it doesn’t take long for businesses and stakeholders to evaluate their interests and require participation.

This is not an endorsement, not even close, CTH is sharing information because several weeks ago we began to outline the likely direction a new era of monitoring was going.  This is the Big Tech system that Comrade Scott Adams has been advocating for.  Obviously there are layers-upon-layers of privacy concerns.  An internal email shared below:

If you are not already doing so, I highly recommend downloading the Care 19 App.  It is being recommended by Governor Noem (South Dakota) and Governor Burgum (North Dakota).

It tracks where you’ve been so that if you do get diagnosed with COVID-19 the Department of Health can quickly identify who may need to be notified that they have been exposed. Once there are enough subscribers the system will be able to notify you directly if you may have been exposed and need to monitor for symptoms.

Phase Five Supply Chain – With a Message From A Dairy Farmer….

•Phase One was retail. •Phase two was distribution. •Phase three was the space between processing/manufacturing and distribution. •Phase four was raw material supply to manufacturing. •Phase five is consumer packaging capacity, and bulk storage inventories.

Most Americans were not aware food consumption in the U.S. was a 60/40 proposition. Approximately 60% of all food was consumed “outside the home” (or food away from home), and 40% of all food consumed was food “inside the home” (grocery shoppers).

Food ‘outside the home’ included: restaurants, fast-food locales, schools, corporate cafeterias, university lunchrooms, manufacturing cafeterias, hotels, food trucks, park and amusement food sellers and many more. Many of those venues are not thought about when people evaluate the overall U.S. food delivery system; however, this network was approximately 60 percent of all food consumption on a daily basis.

The ‘food away from home‘ sector has its own supply chain. Very few restaurants and venues (cited above) purchase food products from retail grocery outlets. As a result of the coronavirus mitigation effort the ‘food away from home’ sector has been reduced by 75% of daily food delivery operations. However, people still need to eat. That means retail food outlets, grocers, are seeing sales increases of 25 to 50 percent, depending on the area.

♦ Phase Five – The retail consumer supply chain for manufactured and processed food products includes bulk storage to compensate for seasonality. As Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue recently noted “there are over 800 commercial and public warehouses in the continental 48 states that store frozen products.”

Here is a snapshot of the food we had in storage at the end of February: over 302 million pounds of frozen butter; 1.36 billion pounds of frozen cheese; 925 million pounds of frozen chicken; over 1 billion pounds of frozen fruit; nearly 2.04 billion pounds of frozen vegetables; 491 million pounds of frozen beef; and nearly 662 million pounds of frozen pork.
