The Truth Has No Agenda – It’s nice to see voices who can actually conceptualize the bigger picture as it’s assembled.  We said previously that all other explanations don’t make sense.   The progressive NYT would never put itself under such scrutiny for pay inequity unless there was a bigger ideological reason for the removal.   That “bigger” more logical reason we have outlined is also supported in this recent talk radio voice:

(Via Newsmax) The firing of Jill Abramson as executive editor of The New York Times happened because she “went over the line” in criticizing the heavy-handed tactics used by the Obama administration in dealing with the media, claims radio talk show host Tom Sullivan.

Sullivan pointed out that “earlier this year” (in fact, just last month, in an interview with The Takeaway) Abramson said, “The Obama years are a benchmark for a new level of secrecy and control.” He said she added that “sources who want to come forward with stories they feel are important are scared to death they’re going to be prosecuted.” (more…)

How ironic that the persecutors this time around are the so-called intellectuals. They claim to be liberal while behaving as anything but. The touchstone of liberalism is tolerance of differing ideas. Yet this mob exists to enforce conformity of thought and to delegitimize any dissent from its sanctioned worldview. Intolerance is its calling card.

Each week seems to bring another incident. Last week it was David and Jason Benham, whose pending HGTV show was canceled after the mob unearthed old remarks the brothers made about their Christian beliefs on homosexuality. Turkey has been an intentionally ignored hotbed of protests against hardline islamofascism.   Then a horrible mining accident happened recently with almost 300 dead miners.   Emotions are raw and tensions are high.   Into this mix comes a heavy handed Erdogan.    

TURKEY – […]  Reports allege that the young man, wearing a blue t-shirt, chanted slogans critical of Erdoğan and then entered the store. Erdoğan then followed the protester inside, grabbed the man and then punched him two or three times, according to eyewitness reports.

The owner of the store corroborated the reports, saying that he saw surveillance camera footage showing that Erdoğan was punching a man, adding, “The bodyguards took away the footage and suggested that I not mention the issue.”

A video of the incident shared on the popular video-sharing platform YouTube shows Erdoğan telling the protester, “Come next to me and boo me,” before walking up to the one man into the store then. At one point during the video Erdoğan grabs the protestor and punches him. (more…)

Yes, it’s true that New York Times editor Jill Abramson was recently “fired” and replaced.    However, not because she’s a woman who asked for a pay raise – but rather because she has done the most sacrilegious offense to the towers of progdom, she exposed the falsehood behind the White House claims of transparency.

It’s an easy mistake to make, because much of the recent leftist push has been structured around the so called other sides’ “war on women”, and women’s issues  in general (See #BringBackOurGirls et al and also this).

Yes, indeed the intentional strategy to try and retain power for Democrats and the White house has been to slide “racism” -as a leveraging tool- over a bit, and to make room for “sexism” leverage to take a greater role.    [Democrats always use victimization as substantiation for their social justice campaign and agenda(s).]  With Hillary running in 2016 the shift to sexism serves multiple goals.  (more…)

(Via Washington Free Beacon)  U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will introduce liberal megadonor George Soros at an open forum on Tuesday, the latest evidence of the billionaire using his political connections to benefit his investments and foreign policy goals, critics say.

Kerry will introduce Soros at the 1:30 p.m. forum on May 13 at the George C. Marshall Center, the Germany-based security and defense studies institute jointly operated by the U.S. Department of Defense and German Defense Ministry, according to a State Department event notice.

Soros will discuss “strengthening civil society, democracy and the world economy” with Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Douglas Frantz following Kerry’s introduction.  (read more)

(Via NRO)   Republicans like Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, Grover Norquist, et al. who insist that the House GOP pass Chuck Schumer’s amnesty bill are saying that Obama can be trusted to enforce whatever new immigration laws we come up with.

As if there weren’t already abundant evidence of the absurdity of such trust, a Buzzfeed story adds to the pile.

The story is about disagreement between Schumer and the White House over plans to water down enforcement even more. The less-sophisticated among the anti-borders Left are demanding that the ongoing review of deportation policy, designed to make it more “humane,” result in dramatic new curbs on the removal of illegal aliens or, even better, de facto amnesty for all illegals along the lines of Obama’s illegal DREAM Act–style DACA amnesty. The litmus test is…. wait for it,…. whether or not you voted for Obama.  

If you did not – you’re racist.   If you did not vote for Obama, and you don’t act or behave racist – you just don’t know you’re racist.

I knew it would eventually surface.    Secretary of State for Africa, J Carson, is outlining how under the Obama administration foreign policy is a method of advocating for “Social Justice” as a solution to ideologically driven opposition.   In most recent events the Boko Haram Jihadists.

*NOTE*  In this current example Boko Haram is the terror enemy.   Boko Haram have said their behavior is driven by their Islamic faith – and demand for strict adherence to Sharia Law, the underpinning of Islam.   For Boko Haram this is a holy war.   Remember this as you go forward. 

The exact same U.S. “social justice” approach via foreign policy, which is now openly displayed toward Nigeria (Boko Haram), was engaged two years ago in Uganda toward the Lords Resistance Army (LRA) and terrorist Joseph Kony.   Remember #KonySurrender.

What’s the larger picture ?

Step back and you can see how totally weak and disconnected this Obama Doctrine is.

This administration -and yes that includes both former and current secretary of States’ Hillary Clinton and John Kerry- view foreign policy through the prism of “social justice” definitions.

How so ?   Think back to early 2013 and Sec. John Kerry talking about the issues in Syria, Egypt and the Middle East Palestinian conflict.   Do you remember him giving speeches about the “real cause” for civil war being unemployment ?  John Kerry wants to stop terrorism with a jobs program – 2013.

“[W]e’re not going to solve this challenge of terror and of extremism and of people finding an alternative if we’re not reaching out to people, talking to them, bringing them to the table and trying to work through major, perceived differences,” Secretary of State John Kerry told a gathering in Brussels on Monday.  “I believe we have to create a new paradigm, frankly, to deal with this.”  (link)
