Yesterday the White House spokesperson Josh Earnest suggested that President Obama first knew of the existence of a secret Clinton email account after reading about it in the recent papers.  Today President Obama confirmed that espousal:

In interview with @plantecbs, Pres Obama says he learned of Hillary Clinton's private e-mail use "the same time everybody else learned it."

Today, Politico is reporting the White House knew specifically about the email accounts in August of last year (2014), and the Clinton aides asked white house officials not to immediately act on anything:

(Politico) The White House, State Department and Hillary Clinton’s personal office knew in August that House Republicans had received information showing that the former secretary of state conducted official government business through her private email account — and Clinton’s staff made the decision to keep quiet.

Sources familiar with the discussions say key people in the Obama administration and on Clinton’s staff were aware that the revelation could be explosive for the all-but-announced candidate for president. But those involved deferred to Clinton’s aides, and they decided not to respond. (link)

Few media outlets understand the scope of the Islamic alignment forces currently battling for control in Libya; even fewer try to report on them. A recent alarming report is now confirmed.

A man named Abdelhakim Belhadj has taken the position as head of ISIS in Libya. Abdelhakim Belhadj was critical in forming “Libya Dawn”, essentially a group of Islamic militia forces (LIFG or Libyan Islamic Fighting Groups) who fought under various banners such as Ansar al-Sharia (al-Qaeda in Libya) and the Muslim Brotherhood.

However, Abdelhakim Belhadj was also supported by the U.S. and more specifically Senator’s Graham and McCain in the lead up to the current crisis which no-one will call a civil war because of political fear – yet that is exactly what exists. Abdelhakim Belhadj taking the position as head of ISIS in Libya now all but guarantees Libya will be an Islamist Militant State.

[Via Counter Jihad] … Major news out of Libya as the former head of the Al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, and a major player in the U.S.-backed overthrow of Mummar Gaddafi, has reportedly joined the Islamic State and is leading its forces there. This according to The Blaze National Security journalist Sara Carter on twitter, and Fox News’ Catherine Herridge in a Fox News report.

The “Benghazi Brief” remains the most controversial research report we have ever produced.  The brief contains over two years of research and hundreds of very specific citations supporting it.

The Brief has also been challenged and with extensive vetting factually withstood all scrutiny.  The report, while exhaustive in detail, remains the strongest summary of events surrounding the two years leading up to the Benghazi Libya attack on 9/11/12.

We have repeatedly stated The Benghazi Brief, and ALL of the cited information contained therein, is available for use by anyone who has a goal of communicating the truth surrounding the controversial events.

We presented the brief so that a larger understanding, a factual understanding, is possible. It can be used in part or in whole, or edited for use by any party. Anyone can do whatever they want with the detailed information provided. Our only request continues to be that the truth contained within it be maintained.

I make no attempt to hide my hopeful view of Egyptian President and Muslim leader Fattah el-Sisi.  I had given up believing in a modern secular Muslim leader, until we discovered el-Sisi

Having watched and researched the entirety of the mid-East Islamist Spring from well before it even appeared on the horizon of Western interest, there was an overwhelming sense of dismay -albeit within a small circle- at a very predictable chain of events. 

As a direct consequence of President Obama’s 2009 efforts – by the end of 2011 things actually seemed hopeless.  Syria began their civil war; Bahrain was trying to stop one from starting; Iran had killed/jailed the freedom alliance (Green Movement); Tunis was in a state of turmoil; U.S. policy was destroying stability in Libya; Yemen was in crisis mode;  Saudi Arabia was pumping money into their citizenry to stop anxiety; and Egypt was being leveraged to the Muslim Brotherhood.

When you look at those events from the perspective of the average person, the family trying to do their best to give their kids a better life, things were beyond grim…. it wasn’t an “Arab Spring”, it was an Islamist Spring – and the dark forces of hate, pride, envy and anger all seemed to be relishing in the bloodshed… (more…)

Annoying does not seem to adequately identify the frustration projected toward the U.S. media anymore. “Willfully Blind” seemingly seems entirely more appropriate.

Back in 2011 when Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Samantha Power and eventually President Obama, engaged in a decision to strike militarily against Gaddaffi in support of Libyan opposition forces (later determined to be al-Qaeda), Jeh Johnson was part of President Obama’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) as Johnson represented the chief legal counsel to the Pentagon.

A little known fact about that controversial time is that Jeh Johnson, the legal counsel, told President Obama his military action was illegal. Yes, Jeh Johnson as part of the OLC told Obama the executive office lacked legal authority to strike militarily against Libya because the Libyan uprising posed no direct threat to the United States, and President Obama had not requested congressional authority.

This was in June of 2011, this was even reported in the NEW YORK TIMES:

WASHINGTON — President Obama rejected the views of top lawyers at the Pentagon and the Justice Department when he decided that he had the legal authority to continue American military participation in the air war in Libya without Congressional authorization, according to officials familiar with internal administration deliberations.

It has been outlined by independent journalists that Turkey has been aiding ISIS in various conflicts around Turkish border region. There was video smuggled out of Turkey which showed ISIS members meeting with Turkish Police.
An American journalist, Serena Shim, who reported on the Turks aid for the Islamic Terror State, was mysteriously killed soon after outlining a very similar story.
At each occurrence the official position of Turkey and Recep Erdogan is that they have NOT aided ISIS, despite the numerous and frequent accusations of the Kurds who have outlined the support.
Now things take an even more serious shift as solid evidence now proves the Turkish military in direct conversation with ISIS, providing them weapons, and engaging in military conflict against the Syrian Army to the benefit of Ansar al-Islam, a factional Islamic Group within ISIS.

In both March and June of 2014, secretly recorded phone conversation prove the Syrian army provided both anti-aircraft support and artillery bombardments for an alliance of Jihadist groups fighting the Syrian army around Kasab. (more…)

It should not come as a surprise to followers of the U.S. position in Libya to discover that both the U.S. and British political apparatus are trying to block Egypt’s request to the Security Council for intervention in Libya.
What comes as more of a surprise is the stark contrast between espoused public positions from both President Obama and Prime Minister Cameron about fighting “Islamic Extremism” when contrast against their less public -but far more damaging- positions about allowing the elements of ISIS to have free reign amid the Libyan geography.

As a consequence what is beginning to emerge is, yet again, the rise of Russian influence in the North African region; as Russia’s Putin and Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi work together to remove the extremists despite the action of Cameron and Obama.
CAIRO –  Faced with a new threat to its national security, Egypt may, at least for now, go it alone in battling ISIL militants in neighbouring Libya.
Egyptian warplanes struck ISIL targets last week in the city of Derna, an extremist stronghold, in retaliation for the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians there by the militants.
But Cairo’s desire to see the creation of a UN-backed force to intervene militarily in Libya has been stymied at the UN Security Council last week. (more…)

In 2011 Ansar al-Sharia was one of the al-Qaeda organizations in Libya who benefited from the weapons given by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.N Ambassador Susan Rice, and White House advisor Samantha Power.
Clinton, Rice and Power convinced President Obama to intervene in Libya and support “the rebels”.

The “rebels” were later admitted to be members of Ansar al-Sharia in the Eastern Libya coastal region of Benghazi toward Derna. In the summer of 2011 this was one faction within what was called the ‘Libyan Islamic Fighting Group’ (LIFG).
After several years of turmoil and factional fighting, in 2014 the LIFG rebranded -and united- most of the Libya Islamist groups under the term “Libyan Dawn”. Libyan Dawn was the name used as the civil war raged and by mid-summer Tripoli came under Islamist control.
In December of 2014 Libyan Dawn, aka LIFG, aka Ansar al-Sharia, aka Hillary’s Rebels declared allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS).   Today those “rebels” killed 40 Libyan civilians and wounded 70 more:

September 2011 – (LIBYA)  Rebel forces and armed civilians are rounding up thousands of black Libyans and migrants from sub-Sahara Africa, accusing them of fighting for ousted strongman Moammar Gadhafi and holding them in makeshift jails across the capital. (link)

Hillary’s “rebels” hated the black Africans, and the black Africans have always been a type of mercenary group willing to fight just about any element for the right price.  When Libya came under attack from Hillary’s Arab team, even Muamar Gaddaffi set aside his own hatred for black Africans and hired them to fight for his side.
The racism of Arab ISIS participants, formerly al-Qaeda and/or Ansar al-Sharia, toward African blacks, is well known and well documented. It actually has a historical context going all the way back to when Gaddaffi was at his peak as an international terrorist.  This racism even influenced the 1986 chosen location for the East Berlin bombing of the La Belle night club.  (more…)
