In the typical Alinsky fashion the full weight of the Obama-Chicago Machine is now specifically directed at author Bob Woodward. Why? Because he told the truth: President Obama is now railing wildly about a false “cut” in spending from a sequestration structure that he, together with Jack Lew, created at the White House.

False illusions that the situation is under control if certain strategic directions are followed (Bailouts, Stimulus, Jobs Bills, Regulations of industry, Unconstitutional Power Grabs, Dismissal of Historical Laws, Changes in legislative processes, Changes in checks and balances of power etc). The sequester is not an actual “cut” to the non-existent budget. It is a reduction in the size of the actual increase in spending. But if you listened to the Obama administration and the water-carrying media – you’d think the end of the world was afore us. Pfffffttt !

I stepped out of my car on a sunny 90 degree Phoenix afternoon, but it soon felt closer to 100 degrees by the time I reached the all cement environs of Cesar Chavez Plaza. A quick scan showed about seven or eight makeshift tents, but I was soon told that these were not really tents. They were “canopies”, since neither tents, blankets, pillows, or sleeping bags were allowed by the Phoenix Police. I was most surprised to see only about 40-50 people milling around the site, hardly the numbers nearing the thousand reported on October 15th, the first night of the Occupation. I’ve since found out the group has several teams of roughly 40-50 people who show up in planned rotations. (more…)

Celebrating the pure ‘coolness’ of any and all things gotten for nothing, Mrebt raps on and on saying, “My EBT…EBT…I just swipe my EBT”. Catchy isn’t it?
