There’s a reason the enforcement mechanism for the ACA (Obamacare) is the IRS.   There’s also a specific reason why the fiscal year begins on October 1st and the calendar year January 1st. First watch this video:

Both the federal income tax code and the Obamacare tax code are based on systemic architectural baselines, “standards”, which must be in place prior to user based data inputs into the system(s) to determine the tax payers liability.
Inside the construct of this architecture you find the political risk to the Spite House, to the administration and to Democrats in general.    It is in their collective best interests that tax payers do not find out the depth of their predicted liability.   Hence, we are seeing numerous outlets reporting a growing frustration with the ACA system not providing the information.   This is not accidental, it is more likely by design. In the politicized back and forth, that has become the new normal, you must review each subtle movement through the prism of ‘narrative risk management’.   As the New York Times now weighs in “This is most closed, control-freak administration I’ve ever covered,”… (link)   This is a brutal recognition of Dear Leader, Valerie Jarrett and Denis McDonough.
Internal White House polling must be giving them fits right now. The American People are not losing resolve; in fact, just the opposite is true, more and more people are joining a growing group awakening to the reality of how destructive Obamacare is, and just WHAT the reason is for this fight.   THIS is from a moonbat in Californiastan:

NPR, the liberal basement for all media pontifications, tells it’s reports to back off using the term Obamacare?  If Obamacare was so dreamy, that would never happen.  No, what’s happening is Obamacare has become a risk.   Within that “risk” is the future of all left-wing liberalism.
And even more telling is this.  Stompy Feet moves to put himself on the outside of the issue(s), trying to give himself some distance from the inherent risk:

President Obama has handed over the reins of leadership on government funding and the debt limit to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).
Reid is now fully in charge of his party’s negotiating strategy, a significant change from past showdowns with Republicans.  (link)

Dancing In To Week #2

Much to the chagrin of President Stompy Feet, Democrats, left-wing liberals and their water-carrying media, and despite the 24/7 drumbeat of doom and gloom, the vast majority of Americans can see straight through the ruse.   “The Shutdown That Doesn’t Actually Shut Down Anything”….
Just like the non-existent end of the world doom and gloom from Sequester Cut predictions, the federal shutdown doesn’t actually stop anything.
It was as a direct consequence that ‘We The People’ didn’t buy into the faux-sequester prophecy that President Stompy Feet ordered numerous federally authorized examples to be carried out.  In essence,  intentional infliction of distress through the manipulation of semi public private enterprises which make up many aspects of life in American society.
This is, like all Obamanations, just a strategy, and so far the American People are refusing to be intimidated. (more…)

Today, in all its glory, the left wing rag The New Republic went so far as to suggest the Obama Administration break out the tanks, and do some killing of Republicans, to “put the boot on the throats” of the Republicans in the House of Representatives. Actor James Woods tweeted the adage to me a few weeks ago, if you scratch away the surface of a leftist, you expose a fascist. Nowhere is this more evident and proven than the suggestion by The New Republic’s Senior Editor Julia Ioffe’s suggestion that Obama act as Boris Yeltsin did when he shot up Russia’s Parliament building with T-72 tanks.
I have now heard it all. I have seen it all. What we are witnessing is what “The Great One” Mark Levin calls “Soft Tyranny.” Such tyranny is a slow walk to 25% of our population being murdered, as Stalin, Pot, Mao, and Castro did, to name just a few of the most illustrious and storied Marxist “revolutionaries” who murdered all of those who couldn’t be “retrained”…as Obama crony Bill Ayers promised to do in his manifesto. How many “essential” federal employees does it take to hang a sign?

Yeah… I know… I know…   [Federal Guideline Handbook – Chapter 16, Volume 9; Subsection xvii, paragraph #3a: “Determining Human Resource Allocation” – In order to determine appropriate efficiency metrics’, unless otherwise noted, all federal employees shall, at the request of their immediate level 3 supervisors, while under the direction of the management office, require a specific measurement of the sign prior to labor distribution consideration.  ∞Prior to facilitating any request from alternate office management the proposed sign hanging must meet AFSCME guideline 334.021 article iii – and must be accompanied by a proposal, filed in triplicate, to include such measurements in metric centimeters, and standard inches, and allow a 10 business day review and approval request.  Failing to appropriately follow specific guidelines may lead to disciplinary action up to, and possibly including, the elimination of one 30-minute rest period for any individual workday exceeding 2.25,  but not greater than 3.15 hours, in duration]

Meanwhile….  83% of The Federal Government is NOT involved in the shutdown – Everyone knows the phrase “government shutdown” doesn’t mean the entire U.S. government is shut down. This one is funnier than trying to stop people from looking at Mount Rushmore….   Perhaps I find this funnier because it not far from home and very familiar stomping grounds. To give you an idea how stupid this is, it’s wide open water.   Florida Bay is the body of water between the curve of the Florida Keys  WEST into  greater gulf of Mexico.      Biscayne Bay is a smaller sized body of water South East of Miami EAST to the Atlantic Ocean.
Enforcement ? Imagine trying to stop 3 million people, spread over 500 miles squared, from looking at a full moon.   That’s how practical enforcement would be.
(Via Breitbart)  Just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was “closed” due to the shutdown.
Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.
The Park Service will also have rangers on duty to police the ban of access to an ocean. (more…)

Yesterday President Stompy Feet posed for his latest national portrait.   Today the park service admits they were told to inflict the maximum public pain during the government shutdown.  Also today, the Border Patrol reveals they have been told to “Stand Down” and ignore border crossings.
All of this why?
Because the actual truth is people are awakening to the reality that most of the federal government is *non essential*; and, quite frankly, we can just do without them.  THAT is the real risk to sellers of BIG government.   It’s the same visible reality that stemmed from the ‘sequester cuts’ which, despite all the protestations to the contrary, really don’t have impact.   That’s the real issue.
