Wall Street Journal/NBC National Poll – Donald Trump Widens Lead…

Keeping in mind the WSJ is owned by Rupert Murdoch who has a vested interest in selling a Marco Rubio / Jeb Bush narrative, the latest version of the WSJ/NBC poll shows Trump and Carson gaining distance from the rest of the field.  Conversely Carly Fiorina falls from her previous WSJ/NBC poll when they were promoting her as an alternative to the vulgarian uprising.

(Via NBC)  With the backing of 25 percent of Republican primary voters, Trump is at his highest level of support in the poll since entering the 2016 race. Carson now gets the support of 22 percent of Republican voters, remaining within the margin of error of his first place rival. Last month, 21 percent of GOP primary voters said Trump was their first choice for the party’s nomination, while 20 percent picked Carson.

Florida Poll – Donald Trump Continues Leading Rubio/Bush On Their Home Turf….

A University of North Florida (UNF) poll, based out of Jacksonville {*ahem*}, finds Donald Trump leading Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush amid 627 registered Florida voters (who have voted in 70% of every election since 2008)

20% of those polled identify as Hispanic/Latino.

*The poll itself is typically what would be called an “agenda poll”.  Both the party conducting the poll, and the ideological presentation of the poll itself reflects intended observational bias.  Lots of questions omitted from presentation, no methodology contained, and example below: (more…)

Donald Trump Appears On Fox News Sunday – The Customary Pundit Heads Explode…

When Donald Trump appears on any Fox broadcast two predictable things happen now. First, he’s questioned to paint him into a corner on various issues – they’re looking for headlines. Second, the Fox pundit class lose their collective minds because Marco Rubio and Jebbie are being defeated by this vulgarian.

First the interview:

Then comes the predictable ‘splodey heads (led by George Will): (more…)

Report: Six Presidential Campaigns Face Tipping Point – Drop Out, or Continue…

Prior research doesn’t support this entire Reuters outline, but it’s not far off.  The GOPe road map can continue unaffected without Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum and Rand Paul.  The “Team Jeb” strategy could also continue without Chris Christie (polling 5% NJ).  Rubio, Fiorina, Kasich and Huckabee are the most valuable to Jeb in that order.

(Via Reuters) […]  The six are: Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, former New York Governor George Pataki, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

Together, they raised $6 million but spent more than $9.5 million during the summer on everything from postage to travel to campaign rallies. All six are trailing badly in the polls.

GOP candidates 2 mashup

[…]  Small donors are the lifeblood of any campaign and candidates will live or die by their ability to tap into a broad base of supporters willing to contribute up to the maximum of $2,700.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who is one of the front-runners in the Republican race, reported nearly 22,000 donors in the last quarter who have given more than $200 so far in the campaign. Bush had 7,300. (more…)

No, Donald Trump Didn’t “Blame” George Bush For 9-11 Attacks…

It does not go unnoticed that every media outlet trying to make a controversy of the Donald Trump remarks, during a Bloomberg TV interview with Stephanie Ruhle, does not present the initial question in their selected soundbite.

The question put to Donald Trump was how to show his softer side, his “soft hand”.  Additionally, the reference for the question was Dubya’s performance to comfort a nation after the 9-11 attack.

It was from that reference that Trump was responding and used the 9-11 reference and expanding by saying unpredictable things happen during a presidency.  See video:

It is obvious from the entire context that Donald Trump was drawing a larger reference of how opportunities present themselves to display the “softer hand”.   Alas, constructing a faux-controversy sells more viewer minutes.

Jeb Bush’s response to the nothing-burger highlights more evidence of his desperation, while simultaneously showcasing his willingness to hide behind the apron of tender sensibilities.

Report: Amid Increasing Terrorist Threats Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump Begin Receiving Secret Service Protection…

Amid increasing threats from foreign and domestic terror entities (ISIS, Mexican Drug Cartels and BLM, etc.) NewsMax is reporting presidential candidates Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson will begin receiving Secret Service protection.

Trump and Carson

The Secret Service will give agent protection to Ben Carson and Donald Trump while heavily upgrading Hillary Clinton’s existing detail, a Washington source close to the agency’s plans confirmed to Newsmax.

The deployment of agents around Republican candidates Trump and Carson is set to begin as early as next week. Approximately two dozen agents will be assigned to each candidate.

[…] The agency’s decision was primarily triggered by a significant number of threats to Carson, including death threats and terrorist chatter, the source said. (read more)

The news is particularly beneficial to Donald Trump’s campaign because he has been the visible target from domestic terrorism entities who hide under the auspices of social justice networks like La Raza and Black Lives Matter and spring upon the campaign crowd with various intents.

While discussion and/or presentation of violent leftist activity has been avoided by the Trump campaign, the concern has been clearly evidenced ‘between-the-lines’. (more…)

I’m Going To Say Something Nice about Jeb Bush….

…. at least he is a real bona fide candidate.  Regardless of how fraught with inherent deception Jeb Bush’s intent and purposes for seeking the GOP nomination, he is in fact a real candidate; with, factual action taking place on the ground to support his efforts.

Like Donald Trump, Jeb Bush is structurally in the race -with infrastructure- trying to win it. The other multiple candidates, not so much; actually, not even close.

trump vs bush

Spurred by our discovery of the internal Republican National Committee efforts to engage with State Republican party apparatus, vis-á-vis “ongoing rule changes“, numerous boots on the ground have begun reporting the absence of candidate activity amid various (Pre-March 16th) primary states.

Multiple calls to local and state Republican party leadership originally intended to find out when they were going to make decisions on proportional rules for delegate distribution, have accidentally identified another aspect  (it’s Déjà vu to the pre-primary spring ’14 all over again). (more…)

Limbaugh Caller – Teamster Union Members Support Trump – (W/ Video Donald Trump’s Campaign is Broadcast in France)…

A recent caller to Rush Limbaugh’s radio show highlights the size and scope of Donald Trump’s supportive base:

CALLER:  I just wanted to let you know, I wanted to talk about the Trumpster.  I think he’s tapped into some of the Democratic voters because I’m a Teamster back here, and I was working with 30 Teamsters last night.  We put shows in conventions and load trucks up, and these guys, now, mind you, only three of the 30 of us are Republicans, one’s a Libertarian, and the rest voted for Obama.  And these guys love the Trumpster, they love him. They love how he wants to get rid of illegals.  They feel the illegals are taking our work.  They love how he shoots from the hip and tells these other politicians off. If he becomes the nominee, they’re gonna vote for him.  So I believe Trump has tapped into to some of the Democratic voters which people don’t realize.

trump hard hat

RUSH:  You are not… Well, you’re not the first person I have heard state that theory — and, by the way, I should tell you, Eric. Some of the people telling me this don’t like it.  They’re worried that Trump is appealing to Democrats.  Not for the reasons you gave, but for different reasons.  And —

CALLER:  Hey, Rush?

RUSH:  Yeah?

CALLER:  All he has to say is, “All lives matter and blue lives matter,” and he’ll have the police union with him too.  (link)

Well what-do-you see last night?
