Oh my. A recent Clout Research poll from the State of Oregon (full pdf below), not exactly well known as a bastion of all things republican, shows candidate Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton 44 to 42%.
However, with Independent Voters, Donald Trump is CRUSHING Hillary Clinton by 27 points 53% to 26%. The Monster Vote effect:

In addition to the 27 point lead with independent voters, Donald Trump also has a 13 point advantage with male voters – and the deficit with female voters is only 9 points.
Oh dear. More media narratives fizzling like cheap bottle rockets…. *pop*

When political opinion holders discuss the disconnect between the outlook of House Speaker Paul Ryan vs the perspectives of republican presidential nominee Donald Trump the emphasis is often on the wrong ideological syllable. Here’s the consideration as viewed through our rather lengthy historical research.
At the very core of the legislative bodies within the House of Representatives and the Senate a person must first focus their own perspective and ask themselves: “what does a representative legislative body mean to me“?

If you answer that question with a form of opinion “the federal politician should represent the will of his/her constituency“, you are holding a traditional federalist type outlook and expectation.
However, in modern political reality -with the increased legislative influences of corporate interests superseding the will of the electorate- a person must accept the legislative outcomes are no longer based on the ‘will of the electorate’.
An intellectually honest person only needs to look as far as the statements from Jonathan Gruber, ObamaCare architect, to understand the legislative objectives are now carried forth on a principle of ‘we know better‘. Indeed, when Obamacare was created a full 70% of the electorate did not want it, yet congress were determined to create it. (more…)
The Wall Street legislative agenda consists of broad principles (financial global items) and some core priorities:
- Comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty.
- Passage of the TPP trade deal.
- The advancement of Common Core federal education standards.
- The retention of ObamaCare without repeal
- Growth of government to the benefit of the investing class.
Toward those ends, U.S. CoC President Tom Donohue, acting as front-man, has invested over $400 million in advance payments to House and Senate leaders and members.
Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have a unified objective to defend the W.S. Agenda items. Candidate Donald Trump, representing main street, is opposed to the Wall Street legislative agenda. Trump prefers “America First”. Hence, the ideological loggerheads.
(Via Julia Hahn – Breitbart) One day prior to Donald Trump formally clinching the GOP nomination, House Speaker Paul Ryan launched a new line of attack against the Party’s standard bearer selected by GOP voters.

During a Wednesday meeting with reporters on Capitol Hill, the House Speaker, once again, disavowed Trump’s campaign pledge to enforce U.S. immigration law.
Ryan also indicated that he would not include Trump’s signature policy platforms on trade or immigration in the House GOP 2017 policy agenda.

(Via Bloomberg) Donald Trump is planning a Memorial Day weekend visit with one of his favorite constituencies: bikers.
As motorcyclists stream into the nation’s capital for Rolling Thunder, their largest annual gathering, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is planning an appearance on Sunday, campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said.

“I am doing it in honor of the great bikers who have been totally supportive of my campaign and now I want to be supportive of them,” Trump said in a statement to Bloomberg Politics. “I look forward to it!”

Senator Bernie Sanders appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live one night after the possibility of a Trump -vs- Sanders debate was proposed and Trump being open to it.
Unfortunately, Democrat party rules forbid any Democrat candidate from participating in unsanctioned debates, so it would be challenging to pull it off. In addition the DNC is fully supporting Hillary Clinton to the diminishment of Sanders; so no help there.
However, that said, Bernie sees an opening to marginalize his opponent Hillary, and Trump is a rogue and happy wolverine – so perhaps anything is possible.
Also in the video, Bernie is none to happy with Clinton appointing herself the winner of the Democrat race. As The Bern says: “there’s a little bit of arrogance there”. Gee, ya think?:

Treeper “Bluto” attended the Donald Trump rally in Anaheim California and he shares his experience with us:
It’s a Movement – A POSITIVE Movement.

*Sound of loud Record Scratching*
What?!? Bluto! What are you talking about? Didn’t you see the riots? Tear-gas & rocks! Lions, tigers & bears! Oh my! The gnashing of teeth, the spitting! Oh my God! OMG! The Piñata Boy & his Trump Doll!
Ummm…..nope. Remember? I don’t watch TV. But I did see a Lion. And yes, I did see Piñata Boy. But neither one of them was scary. Oh yes, Piñata Boy was laughing. Even Piñata Boy wasn’t impervious to the waves of Love wafting through the air. He didn’t fool ol’ Bluto, I saw him smiling. He was having fun too.
In fact, the only people I didn’t catch smiling were the Police & Secret Service who were constantly scanning the crowd. But that’s to be expected, they had a job to do – a very important job, and they did it well. After Tuesday’s display of Soros-Paid SuperTards On Parade in New Mexico and the subsequent lock-step Feinting and Contrived Horror Play-Acting of the MSM, who could blame them for being serious? Not me. Thank you Mr. Serious Officer, I felt safe today. (more…)
