Obama/Holder DOJ: The High Number of Minority Students Being Punished In School Is Part of Our “Next Generation” of Civil Rights Challenges…

This story explains why the President Obama administration consider the back-story of Trayvon Martin’s criminal engagements to be a risk.

[If you want to help out – drop research of Jocelyn Samuels in comments]

WASHINGTON DC – The head of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division says the “next generation” of civil rights challenges includes addressing racial disparities in school discipline; defending the rights of LGBT Americans; combating discrimination in housing and in lending; protecting women from sexual assault and harassment; ensuring the fair treatment of youth in the juvenile justice system; and defending the right to vote in the 21st Century.
In recent months, the Civil Rights Division has reached landmark consent decrees involving each of these issues,” Jocelyn Samuels, the acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, told a civil rights symposium in Indianapolis on Tuesday. (more…)

Two More Knock Out Attacks In New York – Victims: White Male 23, White Female 36, All Attackers Young Black Males

Yet again, the PC media censor the racial aspect to the attacks.

•In the first attack a 23 year old white male was walking home at night (video of attack here);  He was attacked by a young black male.   •In the second attack a 36 year old white female was walking at 12:30pm in broad daylight when she was attacked by four black teen males.
The news video of the second attack, on the female, which includes the CCTV footage is disturbing.   The attack is not disturbing per se, the responses from the neighbors are disturbing.  Summed up they announce “meh – whatever”.
new york knock out 1NEW YORK – Police are looking for a suspect who walked up to a 23-year-old man on a Lower East Side street and punched him in the face early Thursday, knocking him unconscious and breaking his jaw.
The victim says he’s “frightened and frustrated” after the random attack, and is hoping the suspect is found before anyone is hurt again.

Authorities say the suspect sneaked up behind the victim, Kyle Rogers, near the Bowery Mission and hit him with a closed fist before running off. Rogers passed out and woke up in the ambulance with a broken jaw. Police released the surveillance video Thursday and are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the suspect, described as a black man in his 20s. (more…)

Indiana Mall Hoodie Ban Is "Racist" – So Sayeth CNN's Latest Prime Time Player Sunny Hostin…

This perpetual meme of naming all things racist is wearing beyond thin The mall policy has been in place since 2004.   After the Newsbuster article we’ll show why.
(Via NewsBusters)  Sunny Hostin blasted an Indiana mall’s ban of people wearing raised hoodies on Thursday’s New Day: “This is…akin, in my view…to ‘stop and frisk’ – to the pretext of ‘stop and frisk’ – and I think many courts have found that this type of behavior is unacceptable, and downright unconstitutional.”

The CNN legal analyst also contended that “‘hoodie’ is code for ‘thug’ in many places,” and later claimed that “to identify just hoodies in my view…it’s very, very clear what we’re talking about here. We’re talking about racial profiling. It’s code for racial profiling.
Anchor Chris Cuomo took on the role of Hostin’s sparring partner during the segment. Cuomo first noted, in defense of the commercial complex, that “the mall says, we’ve had it in place since 2004, so don’t hit me with the Trayvon Martin stick…[and] had it in place because the local police like it, and they like it because they feel it makes it easier to fight crime because it allows people to not conceal themselves. Wear your hoodie – just don’t have it concealing your face, so I can identify you in case anything happens.” (more…)

Obama’s Controversial Nominee For DOJ Goes Down In Flames….

“Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid warned Republicans just before the vote that if Adegbile lost there would have to be a ‘broad discussion’ of civil rights in America.”

Debo Adegbile

Obama and the NAACP are already suggesting race was a factor, calling it a “travesty based on wildly unfair character attacks against a good and qualified public servant.” (If nothing else, they are predictable.)

Cop Killer Apologist, Debo Adegbile’s nomination defeated.  Dear leader calls vote results “travesty”…

deboWASHINGTON DC – Seven Senate Democrats joined Republicans to block President Barack Obama’s pick of Debo P. Adegbile to lead the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division amid a controversy over his legal defense of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Adegbile’s nomination needed a simple majority to cut off debate but the chamber voted 47-52 against him.

Democrats Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Chris Coons of Delaware, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Mark Pryor of Arkansas and John Walsh of Montana all voted no. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., also voted no in order to preserve his right to reconsider the vote. If Adegbile had mustered just two more votes plus Reid, Vice President Joseph Biden was on hand to cast a possible tie-breaking vote.  (read more)

Will Connecticut Be The Soil of A Thousand Waco’s ? Looming Clouds Of Gun Enforcement Building…..

We’ve noticed several independent minded blogs beginning to pose the ultimate question around full-scale legislated gun confiscations in Connecticut.  (Links follow Summary Article)

SWAT 4SWAT 2

(The Courant)  Everyone knew there would be some gun owners flouting the law that legislators hurriedly passed last April, requiring residents to register all military-style rifles with state police by Dec. 31.

But few thought the figures would be this bad.

By the end of 2013, state police had received 47,916 applications for assault weapons certificates, Lt. Paul Vance said. An additional 2,100 that were incomplete could still come in.

That 50,000 figure could be as little as 15 percent of the rifles classified as assault weapons owned by Connecticut residents, according to estimates by people in the industry, including the Newtown-based National Shooting Sports Foundation. No one has anything close to definitive figures, but the most conservative estimates place the number of unregistered assault weapons well above 50,000, and perhaps as high as 350,000.

Trayvon Martin’s Father: Americans Care More About Guns Than Children – Whoopsie… That’s Odd, Because Trayvons’ Father Was Texting Him About Guns Just Days Before Trayvon Was Shot…

Trayvon Martin’s father, Tracy, appeared on MSNBC yesterday to talk about the second anniversary of Trayvon’s death.   Tracy Martin discussed America’s obsession with guns.

However, as with all things from Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton the TRUTH is 180 degrees divergent.

Apparently Tracy Martin was all for Trayvon having a gun, until after Trayvon was killed and then he changed his position.    You see, he was all for teens with guns, before he was against them. (more…)

Jan Brewer Vetoes SB1062: “The Defense of Muslims Having To Make Bacon Sandwiches Act”…

Muslim print shop stores will now be open to litigation if they refuse to depict their prophet Mohammed on customer T-Shirts.  Muslim restaurant owners are now open to litigation if they refuse to make Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwiches….. oh yeah, and Catholics business owners are now open to civil rights litigation if they refuse to participate in same sex marriage activities…..

governor-jan-brewer(Raw Story) – After days of protests and criticism levied against her state, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) said on Wednesday that she vetoed SB 1062, which would have effectively legalized discrimination based on religious grounds.

Brewer said she had not heard of one example of religious freedoms being attacked without the bill, considered it broadly worded, and did not address any specific concerns.

She further said that SB 1062 “has the potential to create more problems than it purports to solve” and would be divisive “to a degree that no one would ever want.” (read more)
