Let me tell you what the “real” long, and short-term, goal of the Fabian Socialist progressives is. The economy, right now, is naturally about to seriously contract. All of the signs are there: Wal-Mart is reporting massive drops in same store sales, restaurants are reporting the same, durable goods orders are the lowest in decades, Obamacare is forcing restructuring and lay-offs of small and medium-sized business payrolls. Etc…. etc.
All of the KPI indicators, including the revised 3rd and 4th qtr GDP numbers point to a new recession – it just has not been quantified yet. But.It.Is.Here.
This is known to economists and the White House. What President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are doing is creating an argument to deflect attention from their failed economic policy – They are going to use the faux sequester impact to deflect away, and explain, their new recession. Planes won’t fly, the prisons will empty, 170 quadrillion people will be laid-off, Schools will close, the fireman will be fired, police will stop working, satellites will be dropping out of orbit, polar ice-caps will melt and vacation resorts will start kicking people out of hotel rooms. But that’s not all…. now we find out men will randomly begin beating their wives because they can get away with it. Who knew?
WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) said that if the sequester goes into effect, women who are victims of domestic violence will be “forced to stay in their homes with their abuser” at the “hands of the GOP.”
The automatic across-the-board cuts, known as the sequester, are set to take effect on Friday – a 1.2% reduction in increased federal spending in 2013, or about $44 billion out of $3.6 trillion. (more…)

“The American people are fed up. We have all of this outrageous activity going on. And, they’re releasing illegal criminals. Because this is not arrest and release people. These are people who have been held for a reason… No one has contacted my office. No one has reached out. And, obviously they don’t know what the HECK is going on because they didn’t know anything about it either. Well, who’s running this country?“
Earlier in the week – The federal government released groups of illegal immigrants from custody across the country Monday at the same time the White House was making its case that impending budget cuts would harm efforts to protect the border and enforce federal immigration laws.
Advocates reported “waves” of illegal immigrants being released from at least three detention centers in Texas, Florida and Louisiana.
U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement confirmed the release of some illegal immigrants Monday night but would not say how many or from which detention centers. (more…)

(Via Mediaite) A pro-Democratic group has drawn sharp criticisms after it attacked Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) Asian wife, former Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao. The super PAC Progress Kentucky has demonstrated in front of McConnell’s home and offices, but raised the most ire from critics after tweeting that Chao “has the ear of [Sen. McConnell]” which could “explain why your job moved to China!” Kentucky’s WFPL recaps the incident. (read more)
Mrs. McConnell is not Chinese – she is of Taiwanese descent. But regardless, the fact that a Democrat Super-PAC would attack an opponent just because his wife is of Asian origin is reflective of the true ideology of the hate-filled progressive left. RACIST-By-Any-Means-Neccessary. (more…)
