ENGLAND – The UK Department of Health recently announced that it would loosen hygiene rules for Muslim doctors and nurses.

From now on, Muslim female staff will not need to wash their hands before procedures as it compromises their modesty. Instead, they will have the admittedly less sanitary option of wearing disposable plastic over-sleeves.

Acknowledging the danger of microbes and death, a Department of Health spokesman said, “The guidance is intended to . . . balance infection control measures with cultural beliefs.” But, believe it or not, from a culturist perspective, the death of some patients is not the main cause for concern that this policy elicits.

The most dangerous problem is that this policy encodes multiculturalism not culturism. Whereas culturism acknowledges that England has a majority culture to protect and promote, this multiculturalist policy implicitly says that England has no core culture. It says that the nation can be whatever pressure groups decide it is. It, therefore, officially ends the dominance of English culture in England. (more…)

Obviously, yet oddly, the New York Times tells the truth of who the Syrian Rebels are.  Perhaps the intentionally mistaken reporting from Libya 2011/12 is giving them a few moments of painful reflection.   Indeed, over the past two plus years the mistakes from the Obama R2P doctrine are no longer a debate, they are a reality.

The same ideological components which benefitted from the U.S led U.N. Libyan intervention are in play throughout Syria.   al-Qaeda elements have played a brilliant game of getting the U.S. and the U.N. to destroy its adversaries.  Now they hope to deploy the same strategy in Syria….

The current administration is filled with foolish ideological globalists.  History will not write well of their consequences…  Despite their efforts, eventually freedom will win, it is the natural demand of the human condition.

CAIRO (NYT) – In Syria’s largest city, Aleppo, rebels aligned with Al Qaeda control the power plant, run the bakeries and head a court that applies Islamic law. Elsewhere, they have seized government oil fields, put employees back to work and now profit from the crude they produce.

Across Syria, rebel-held areas are dotted with Islamic courts staffed by lawyers and clerics, and by fighting brigades led by extremists. Even the Supreme Military Council, the umbrella rebel organization whose formation the West had hoped would sideline radical groups, is stocked with commanders who want to infuse Islamic law into a future Syrian government.

Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of. (more…)

“We are not recommending any policy other than one exception. That is, if the United States decides to arm the Syrian rebels with lethal weapons, not just defensive weaponry, that those rebels and those weapons be very carefully vetted. We had a very bad experience with Libya where shoulder-fired missiles went disappeared very quickly and showed up in our backyard. We don’t want that to happen again in Syria.”

WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Saturday promised that “explosive” congressional hearings over the Benghazi, Libya attacks are on the way.

“There are more Benghazi hearings coming, I think they’re going to be explosive,” Gowdy said on Fox News.

Gowdy, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said the hearings are going to be “coming quickly” and seemed to hint that the public might for the first time hear from witnesses to the September assault that left four Americans dead. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – For those of you who might not know or care, the White House Correspondents Dinner is an annual orgy of narcissistic self-indulgence where the biggest stars in media, Hollywood, and politics gather to become even more corrupt and insulated than they already are. It is also a decidedly left-wing affair where the media hoot, holler, and applaud as Barack Obama attacks his political opponents, and do the same when Stephen Colbert rips George W. Bush.

In a word, the dinner is a grotesque display of “journalists” yukking it up and slapping the backs of those in power whom they are supposed to hold accountable. Just as grotesque is watching the same gilded media, who protect Obama from his failed economy, celebrate their own corrupt one-percent selves as the poverty they willfully ignore explodes all around them. A democrat lawmaker, Representative David Linsky, has taken a position against Mass Democrat Governor Deval Patrick and is working to outline the finances and bring to the public for review.   Well done Mr. Linsky.

(Via Daily Mail)  The deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his wife Katherine relied on food stamps and public assistance from 2011 to 2012, soon after they became parents.

New details have emerged about taxpayer money that was shelled out to the family of the bombing suspects, after the Mass. Gov. previously refused to divulge information on their welfare benefits.

A state lawmaker was able to obtain data about government assistance the Tsarnaevs received and that information was passed on to the media. (more…)

Eric Holder is the Attorney General of the United States;  The chief law enforcement officer.  He is appointed by the Executive Branch, the President of the United States, and constitutionally required to “enforce the laws within the nation”.

The Legislative Branch passes laws.  ==> The Executive Branch enforces laws. ==>  The Judicial Branch evaluates laws.   That’s how this whole ‘giddy up’ we call the United States Constitutional Republic is set up to work.

The Executive Branch enforces laws –   The Executive Branch, President Obama, uses the Department of Justice to execute that federally required job responsibility.    That simply means that the AG, Eric Holder, is the primary “enforcer” of the processes to insure the laws on the national legislative books are followed. – Today seems a fitting day to review this again –

One of the frustrating realities of our polarized time is the media creating a skewed and left leaning view of all things political. However, even with this headwind, each day many more people choose to engage in and honest discovery and understanding of what’s going on. Whether because they stumble upon a concern, or whether they happen across some information that makes them rethink their prior position and views, it can lead to an engagement with us from a perspective of their only reality view having been determined by the lens of the media.

Indeed that can be, and often is, an incredibly frustrating conversation because they bring an embedded and sometimes flawed bias into their narrative. One of the more common misunderstandings stems from the media hatred of George W Bush and his actions, aptly called Bush Derangement Syndrome (BSD).

What I want to do here is not change anyone’s mind, but rather to remind people what led to some of Dubya’s decisions in his own words.

I must first emphasize at the time of Dubya’s tenure in the White House I was not a supporter of many “Bush policies”, however, I did understand his reasoning.

Sometimes research into “why” was needed to understand this reasoning, but there were valid reasons nonetheless. It is unfair for the liberal media, or for any Johnny-come-lately to re-write his motivation as illicit, it was not. In hindsight some of his policies and approaches may have been wrong, but it generally is unfair to look in the rear view mirror to judge.
