NPR has received some preliminary examples of the type of analyst intelligence that was skewed to create a more favorable opinion of President Obama’s foreign policy approach toward ISIS.
In one example the following is noted:

[…]  A military source described the evolution of one report that came out of CENTCOM’s intelligence shop. It was a dispatch on an ISIS attack in Iraq near the Syrian border. The initial CENTCOM report read, “Iraqi forces retreated.” It was sent back for reworking, the source said. Eventually that report came to read that the Iraqi forces had not retreated, but instead had reinforced another Iraqi position. The final draft suggested a strategic decision had been made. But that was not what happened, the source said — the Iraqi forces ran. A second source confirmed the account of the change in wording to put the Iraqi forces in a more positive light. (read more)

In what appears to be a profound sense of professional obfuscation, the head of U.S. Central Command, Gen. Lloyd Austin, told congress that despite the revisions and/or manipulations currently being investigated by the inspector general, the intelligence did not go directly to President Obama. (more…)

You might disagree with this, I do not.  If you remove Donald Trump it is a guaranteed outcome. Hence here’s what the 43 members of the professional political class are predicting for the outcome of the 2015/16 primary race:

The media is so full of obfuscation with this story it’s quite funny.

If you were to read any of a number of articles (EXAMPLE HERE) about Ahmed Mohamed and his “clock” he brought to school, you’d never quite get the picture of what this “clock” looked like. Well here it is:

There is a particular amount of hypocrisy on the left circling this story. A Caucasian kid chews a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun, gets suspended from school and liberals – meh, no-one cares. A Muslim kid takes this “briefcase clock” into school, gets suspended, and liberals are apoplectic.

Yes Alice, DeRay McKesson is going to be teaching at Yale, and now Jamal Bryant announces he’s running for congress.  Bryant will be targeting the congressional seat currently occupied by Elijah Cummings, as Cummings is widely expected to run for the Senate.

Many people will remember Jamal Bryant from his involvement with the Freddie Gray protesting community.  However, some might remember Bryant from his involvement with the fraudulent narrative surrounding Trayvon Martin fiasco.  From his announcement:
(BALTIMORE CBS) […]  “After prayer, soul searching and long deliberation, I am officially- -announcing my candidacy for Congress of the United States representing the 7^th Congressional District,” he said in a statement. “After the Freddie Gray uprising, the proliferation of police brutality across this nation, the lack of jobs, widespread poverty and hopelessness throughout our urban areas, I decided that leading a successful congregation and building a great church is not enough. (Via Campus Reform) Deray McKesson, one of the most vocal leaders of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, will be teaching a one credit course at Yale Divinity School this fall as a guest lecturer.
McKesson, whom the university describes as a “civil rights activist and social media leader” will teach a course titled “Transformational Leadership in the #BlackLivesMatter Movement,” as part of Yale Divinity School’s “ Transformational Leadership for Church and Society” program.
“A young leader of the Black Lives Matter Movement,” a syllabus for the course reads, “DeRay McKesson will present case studies about the work of organizing, public advocacy, civil disobedience, and social change, through both Leadership of Presence, and Leadership in the Social Media.” (more…)

Washington, Pennsylvania – A Pennsylvania barber got slapped with a fine for refusing to give a woman a haircut.
The owner John Interval says his shop is a place for men to relax with a cocktail or a beer. But now, he’s facing legal action from the state’s Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. Interval says he didn’t know he has to service both genders.
“Paperwork started showing up and I’m like ‘Oh my God,” Interval explained. ‘I didn’t really consider it so much a discrimination thing as it’s a barbershop, you know.’
According to Interval, he will respect the law and pay the $750 fine. (video)

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says she will not seek re-election:

“We all know that this is a very critical time in our city; many important decisions lie ahead, both in recovering from April’s unrest and managing our city through the multiple trials that are coming up. Over the past few months as I’ve been making plans for what I know is a vigorous campaign I realize that every moment that I spent planning for a campaign or re-election was time that I was taking away from my current responsibilities to the city. To the city that I love and the city that I took an oath to serve, and because of that I’ve made the decision to not seek re-election.” (more…)

This Rolling Stone controversy is a brilliant opportunity to highlight how subtle, yet brutally obvious, presented broadcast media bias can be when combined with ideological opportunism.

Donald Trump said on Thursday the author of the interview, Paul Solotaroff, called to apologize for the way it was edited:

“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ — he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.” (link)

The author of the article, Solotaroff, appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper and was questioned about this assertion by Trump.  The author appears to deny the assertion, however if you really listen to his answer, and accept his situation, you recognize there’s validity and affirmation to what Trump is claiming  – you just need to understand the context. Obviously CNN adding space for Carly Fiorina so she can participate in the debate on behalf of the GOPe agenda to create space for Jeb.
Meanwhile the MEDIA onslaught against Trump continues.  Both Salem Media Communications (religious and politically ideological right) and Main Stream Media (anti-religion and politically ideological left) are aligned on behalf of all their collective financial interests to remove the threat to their politically driven power structure.
