Victor Davis Hanson Discusses the Downstream Effects of Corruption Within Obama’s FBI and DOJ…

Victor Davis Hanson appears on Fox Business with Lou Dobbs for an excellent interview on the topic of DOJ and FBI political corruption.  In the first response from Mr. Hanson he instinctively and accurately outlines the scale of the challenge that was/is faced by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Mr. Hanson frames the context of the myriad of issues very well, and as such represents himself as one of the few big-picture-brains who really gets it.  Hanson gets the totality of it… all of it.   Everyone should pay attention to how Hanson is able to look at the specific examples and details, and yet remain at the 30,000/ft level… Rare skill:

Two Examples of Mexican Government Officials Blackmailing U.S. by Threatening Flood of South American Immigrants…

With the migrant march from South America, mostly Hondurans, gaining more media attention, it is also important to revisit last year’s threats -from Mexican officials- which preceded their current year complicity.

♦  In August of 2017 President Trump and Commerce Secretary Ross were discussing their trade efforts within NAFTA and renegotiation with Mexico/Canada on a trilateral basis.  However, the U.S. administration said if it doesn’t work, they’d scrap the 3-way NAFTA deal and go one-on-one with individual bilateral agreements.  In response, Mexican Economic Minister Ildefonso Guajardo threatened to flood the U.S. with South American illegal aliens, criminals and gang members as leverage:

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico could pull back on cooperation in migration and security matters if the United States walks away from talks to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Mexican economy minister said in a newspaper report published on Thursday.

“If they do not treat [us] well commercially, they should not expect us to treat them well by containing the migration that comes from other regions of the world and crosses Mexico,” Guajardo said. “Or they should not expect to be treated well in collaboration with security issues in the region.” (LINK)

However, Mexican Minister Ildefonso Guarjardo’s threat was mild compared to a threat in January 2017, when another Mexican official promised to flood the U.S. with South American drugs and gang violence:

China Announces $3b Tariffs on U.S. Imports – Pork, Scrap Aluminum, Wine and Fruits…

In retaliation for $50 billion in U.S. trade tariffs against Chinese imports, China laughably hits back with $3 their own billion tariffs against the U.S.  According to most reporting Beijing has selected U.S. pork and scrap aluminum as targets for a 25% tariff, along with wine and fruit tariffs around 15%.

It should be emphasized the approach by China is rather ridiculous considering the Chinese government purchased the largest U.S. pork manufacturer Smithfield in 2013 for $5 billion; at the time the purchase price was 30% more than the company was worth.  Smithfield, now a Chinese company, represents 25% of all U.S. pork products.

Do you really think China is going to not import it’s own pork products… or subject them to a domestic tax?  Think about it.  It’s ridiculous.  China knows they have ZERO leverage in a trade-dispute with the U.S., they cannot afford to lose access to the U.S. market.

The example of Smithfield foods is exactly what we have outlined in how China cannot sustain itself and needs to control the assets of foreign countries.  Hence, their one-road/one-belt program for securing products and raw materials.  China is a dependent economy, they need to exploit global trade to survive.  China cannot feed itself. This is the inherent flaw within their short-sighted authoritarian government-controlled economic model.

Again, for emphasis, the Chinese government underwrote the purchase of Smithfield foods in 2013.  They paid 30% more than the company was worth because they were securing access to food just like they would any other raw material (uranium, minerals, etc).  China also purchases U.S. politicians to retain their ability in this regard.

Now look at the cartoon from the unofficial Chinese state-run media today:

1,200 Illegal Aliens From Honduras March Unimpeded Through Mexico Toward U.S. Border – Are Glenn Beck and Dana Loesch Going To Greet Again?…

“There are Trillions at Stake”… ~ CTH

By now most have become aware of the story of thousands of people from Central America, mostly Honduras, walking toward the U.S. border where they intend to gain entry into the U.S. legally or illegally.

Transparently, against mid-term elections (U.S. and Mexico), and contrast against the backdrop of Mexico’s opposition toward the Trump administration vis-a-vis NAFTA, the People Without Borders march is one big left-wing political ploy with multiple benefactors, organizers and political groups positioning for maximum ideological benefit.  Do not discount the U.S. Chamber of Commerce multinational financial alignment within this endeavor.

(Via Daily Mail) – An army of a thousand migrants from Central America are marching through Mexico to the US where they hope to get in by any means – legal or not.

The massive flood of migrants hail mostly from Honduras, where the country has become rife with gang violence and political unrest.

Good Grief – House Democrats Waived Background Checks for Pakistani IT Aides Who Worked on Intelligence Committee…

Jumping ju-ju bones… THIS is stunning.  Luke Rosiak is the subject matter expert when it comes to the Awan Brothers scandal and the use of Pakistani nationals for Information Technology assistance by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee.  His latest report is incredible.

Apparently the 44 House Democrats who used the services of the Pakistani IT unit, hired them and exempted them from background checks.  It should be noted these IT employees worked with some of the most sensitive national security secrets.

DAILY CALLER – Every one of the 44 House Democrats who hired Pakistan-born IT aides who later allegedly made “unauthorized access” to congressional data appears to have chosen to exempt them from background checks, according to congressional documents.

All of them appear to have waived background checks on Imran Awan and his family members, even though the family of server administrators could collectively read all the emails and files of 1 in 5 House Democrats, and despite background checks being recommended for such positions, according to an inspector general’s report. The House security policy requires offices to fill out a form attesting that they’ve initiated background checks, but it also includes a loophole allowing them to simply say that another member vouched for them. Sunday Talks: Alan Dershowitz and Bud Cummins Debate Politicization of Justice Department…

In the beginning of this interview Alan Dershowitz accurately outlines the goal and objective of the current approach undertaken by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Dershowitz and Bud Cummins discuss the recent announcement that AG Sessions appointed federal prosecutor, John W. Huber, last year to parallel Inspector General Michael Horowitz on the FBI and DOJ investigation.

.

Slowly people are beginning to awaken to the larger back-story that has been entirely, and in most cases intentionally, missed by clickbait and ideological media for the past six months.

Prescient Matt Drudge in 2015: “don’t get into this false sense that you are an individual when you’re on Facebook. No you’re not! You’re a pawn in their scheme”…

Ever since the Facebook data-privacy issues surfaced I’ve been thinking back to one of the rare Matt Drudge interviews we noted back in 2015.   Drudge was warning about how on-line revenue would be weaponized by Google; and issues surrounding social media platforms selling and controlling you as a product. Drudge’s warning was prescient:

Drudge added, “Now if you think of that setup, how rare that is. Because everybody is so hungry for referrals, for likes. I don’t need to be liked. I don’t need to be liked at all.”

Throughout the lengthy interview, Drudge repeatedly warned Americans that they have become confined on the Internet into the “playgrounds” of massive corporations.

“This is ghetto. This is corporate,” he said of social media. “They are taking your energy and you get nothing in return!”

“I’m just warning this country that — don’t get into this false sense that you are an individual when you’re on Facebook. No you’re not! You’re a pawn in their scheme,” Drudge added. (link)

Details of McCabe’s False Statements Surfacing – Strong Likelihood Those Lies Show Origin Strzok and Page Text Messages…

Giving credence to the reason why Inspector General Horowitz and Federal Prosecutor Huber don’t want to release unredacted investigative information to a leaky congress, a report surfaces via anonymous sources to CNN.

The leaked information comes after the DOJ released the substance behind the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) recommendation to fire former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.   Previously, Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred McCabe’s false statements to the OPR; the OPR reviewed, investigated and then recommended McCabe’s termination to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.  Sessions fired him.

Congress was recently provided information from within the IG referral and OPR report.  Those details are now leaked, with an accompanying narrative, to CNN.

I’m skipping most of the narrative outline because, well, it’s an editorial narrative. However, at the bottom of the CNN narrative there’s an important series of dates which highlight the larger issue with McCabe.  What happened becomes obvious.

Here’s the key paragraph(s) [I’m inserting some info to make the picture more clear for those who are not following closely]:

Common Question: “How do you square Mueller in all this?”…

This is a common question I receive:  “How do you square Mueller in all this?”

Well, there’s a good reason why I don’t discuss him.  The bigger picture is not about Mueller, he’s irrelevant.   Yeah, I know, my perspective runs 180° counter to the common refrain within exhaustive discussions expending energy upon myriad of articles about the ridiculous “Trump Russia Collusion” stories.  Funnily enough, that’s why.

CTH doesn’t log research to convince anyone of anything. Why expend energy on a task that’s exhaustive?  Robert Mueller is not the issue; he never has been.  He’s no more relevant to the actions within the Special Counsel team than anyone else.  Mueller is a DC figurehead, intended to give a name and possible face to an organization that selected him.

That’s the key point everyone misses.  Robert Mueller didn’t appoint or select a team of lawyers and investigators…. the previously assembled team of lawyers and investigators selected him.  Within that PROFOUND difference is the reason I ignore him.

The corrupt second tier DOJ/FBI officials, the lesser known names behind Loretta Lynch, James Comey, Sally Yates and Andrew McCabe, are the actual DOJ and FBI officials who carried out ‘Operation Trump’.  The “small group of co-conspirators” (as I prefer to call them for accuracy), are not political appointees; this specific crew was about 25 to 30 ideologically-minded career officials behind the prior political appointees.

If you want to understand the “small group” or Scheme Team, don’t look at the person at the top of this dynamic (Mueller), look at who assembled the Special Counsel team.  That would be former FBI Chief-Legal-Counsel James Baker, not Robert Mueller.

Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte Discusses Prosecutor Huber and McCabe Firing…

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte appears on Fox News to discuss the ability of Federal Prosecutor John Huber to investigate the criminal conduct within the FBI and DOJ.  My notes follow the interview:

.

Points to note:

♦ The flow of investigative documents from IG Horowitz to Goodlatte (congress) slows down at the same time as Federal Prosecutor John Huber is appointed by AG Jeff Sessions to parallel the Inspector General and look at the identified criminal conduct. Duh. Why? Because releasing criminal evidence to congress, in advance of indictments, would be nuts.
