The following Republican Senators voted to “approve” cloture for Senate Leader Harry Reid.    Approving cloture meant the construct of the Senate Bill could be passed with a simple majority (51 votes).
So essentially, and in FACT, on 9/27/13 the following Republican Senators voted to fund Obamacare:

With all the White House carved out Obamacare exemptions, and strategic delays to Obamacare implementation, how much do you want to bet the delay for all Labor Union impacts is close at hand.     Watch.
Sometime.. soon as the fiscal issues are resolved (CR’s issued and debt ceiling raised) there will be a Friday afternoon announcement noting that due to his magnanimous constitution, and out of an abundance of concern for listening to people, and because he is just a wonderful moderate, President Obama will exempt/delay labor unions from Health Insurance plan implementation under Obamacare.  Watch.
WASHINGTON DC – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia broke ranks with fellow Democrats and said he’d support a stopgap spending plan that delays the individual mandate in President Barack Obama’s health-care law.
“There’s no way I could not vote for it,” Manchin said at a Bloomberg Government breakfast today. “It’s very reasonable and sensible.”
The individual mandate is the linchpin of the law that requires most Americans to purchase health care through government-run insurance exchanges. Republicans, led by a group of newcomers in the House, are pushing to dismantle the health-care law and are using a ticking clock on a possible Oct. 1 government shutdown as leverage. (more…)

Vote out Mitch McConnell in the primary.

Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) — the top two Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate — announced yesterday that they will support “cloture” on the government funding bill, giving Harry Reid and the Democrats a procedural green light to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes. […] We knew Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn weren’t with us when they voted to fund Obamacare earlier this year. But then, under pressure from grassroots, they said they supported the effort to defund it. They even ran political ads in their home states to make voters think they were on their side.
But now, faced with the prospect of having to fight for the things they claim to believe, these Senate leaders have surrendered.
Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn have surrendered to Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and the Democrats. More importantly, they have surrendered to Obamacare — the biggest job killer in America. (link to do something about it)
It’s not an official Senate filibuster, because Harry Reid is using a procedural rules trick to strip the Obamacare defunding segment from the House Bill.    Ted Cruz is vowing to speak as long as possible to stop the “cloture” vote.
The “Cloture Vote”, is a pre-vote of sorts to enable Harry Reid to remove the Obamacare aspect with a simple 51 votes – Which Harry Reid has with Democrats alone.
Therefore anyone who votes for cloture is actually voting to support the Harry Reid process, and voting to support, ie. fund,  Obamacare.
This is where the Decepticons in the Republican ranks will show their manipulative faces.   They will vote for “cloture”, which relies on Republican support because the threshold is 61 votes affirming, then turn around and vote against the bill’s passage because their votes are not needed because the threshold drops to 51 votes (a simple majority) to pass.
So the Decepticons like Mitch McConnell will vote for cloture, then vote against the bill, and return to their campaign base claiming they voted against the bill.    The truth is they voted to support the bill, then voted against it only because after cloture it will pass without their support. McCOOK – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers briefly detained and then released about 20 people suspected of being in the country illegally Saturday morning on a farmer’s land 24 miles north of central Mission, the landowner said.
About 8 a.m. Saturday, Lee Adams said he noticed “a lot of activity” in the brush on his large rural property. He called a DPS trooper, who called for backup. A group of troopers – which included five cars and two helicopters – eventually rounded up a group of people who appeared to possibly be in the country illegally, Adams said.
But in less than an hour, the cars and helicopters scattered, allowing the people they detained to do the same. (more…)

(UK Independent)  While the Assad regime in Damascus has denied responsibility for the sarin gas missiles that killed around 1,400 Syrians in the suburb of Ghouta on 21 August, information is now circulating in the city that Russia’s new “evidence” about the attack includes the dates of export of the specific rockets used and – more importantly – the countries to which they were originally sold.
They were apparently manufactured in the Soviet Union in 1967 and sold by Moscow to three Arab countries, Yemen, Egypt and Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya. These details cannot be verified in documents, and Vladimir Putin has not revealed the reasons why he told Barack Obama that he knows Assad’s army did not fire the sarin missiles; but if the information is correct – and it is believed to have come from Moscow – Russia did not sell this particular batch of chemical munitions to Syria. First the demands of The Jeb – Former Fla. GOP Gov. Jeb Bush, consummate politician and 2016 presidential aspirant, has now bitterly accused opponents of his federal education schemes of possessing “purely political” motives. Projection, anyone?

Having previously suggested that critics of the so-called Common Core standards program are crazy, ignorant and lying, Bush piled on at a National Press Club appearance this week. Jeb the Insult Comic Dog did not hold back. Not only is the growing anti-Fed Ed movement of parents, teachers, school board members, academics, privacy advocates and state legislators of all stripes “purely political,” Bush sniped, but the Common Core backlash that’s causing him conniption fits is also opposed to academic excellence.
Yep. If you question Jeb Bush and his Big Business/Big Government cronies, you stand foursquare against student achievement and intellectual rigor. Pay attention, all you informed moms and dads who have raised pointed, carefully researched questions about the costs, quality, validity, constitutionality and intrusiveness of Common Core.
