For the past two weeks several media outlets have been reporting on the lack of DOJ evidence to support the claims of “sedition” and a grand conspiracy around the January 6th DC protests.

Today Politico takes the walk-back reports one step further by warning the leftist ideologues that most of those arrested and/or accused will likely not serve any jail-time and will instead face misdemeanor trespassing violations.

A POLITICO analysis of the Capitol riot-related cases shows that almost a quarter of the more than 230 defendants formally and publicly charged so far face only misdemeanors. Dozens of those arrested are awaiting formal charges, even as new cases are being unsealed nearly every day.

In recent days, judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys have all indicated that they expect few of these “MAGA tourists” to face harsh sentences.

Just a short note to bookmark for later 2024 reference about political opportunism and parseltongue.  You might remember South Dakota Kristi Noem being adamant that she was not vetoing a legislative bill blocking male (transgender) athletes from Women’s sports. [HERE]  Yesterday she took action to send the bill back to the state house.  Read the rejection letter from the governor’s office:

Note: “bills returned shall be treated in the same manner as vetoed bills”…. with her signature; yet she still proclaims she did not veto the bill.

It’s a small note, but a note worth making nonetheless.  For a politician who claims she speaks frankly and truthfully, there’s a great deal of parseltongue, a decepticon trait, on this one.  Disappointing, just sayin’.

When asked why she doesn’t support the bill, Noem said she has received advice and counsel that the law would fail if challenged in federal court. Specifically Noem implied the NCAA would sue South Dakota and she believes the state would lose a lawsuit based on the law. If that is her position, essentially she is attempting to avoid litigation, proactively planning to lose that litigation, on a law supported by the majority in her state.

Not an April fool’s joke, but it might as well be.

Two media reports [Here and Here] about former VP Mike Pence considering a potential run for President in 2024 present the most laughable political hypothetical in recent memory.   Particularly, and specifically, because even President Trump would likely not include Pence in a short list of people for endorsement.

“WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Donald Trump recently rattled off the names of those he viewed as future leaders of the Republican Party, including Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Conspicuously absent from the list: Mike Pence.

Newsmax has a similar story outlining steps Mike Pence appears to be making to lean forward to the 2024 GOP primary.  However, as pointed out by both articles, President Trump has not included his former VP in any positive affirmation about the future of the republican party.

We all knew this was coming,…. it is only a natural outcome on the continuum of ideological control.  CTH warned since last summer of the ramifications if a leftist group used COVID-19 to expand federal power over peoples lives and livelihoods.  The day after his inauguration JoeBama’s team unleashed a series of TEN EXECUTIVE ORDERS fully weaponizing the opportunity.

Today the Washington Post is reporting about the Biden administration working with private corporations to create a universal “vaccine passport” to restrict the movement of non-vaccinated Americans.

If you follow the natural progression of the effort, there will come a time when employers will be forced by federal regulation to require vaccination for all their workers. [Predictions HERE and HERE]

OK, before I blow a blood pressure cuff on this issue, please keep in mind the warnings provided on these pages about DHS now starting to assemble lists of dissident citizens under the guise of domestic extremists. {Go Deep}  Also remind yourself the same DHS and FBI are now using private contractors embedded in Big Tech to scour public information on social media and provide feedback to help DHS assemble those lists. {Go Deep}

Now, we take that foundation and build it one step further…. This well-written report about the recent Senate Armed Services Committee discussion with the National Security Agency (NSA) needs to be absorbed with the prior information as context.  These paragraphs are alarming in the extreme (emphasis mine):

The Fourth Amendment protects against unreasonable searches and [NSA Director] Nakasone cited it as a key obstacle to potential expansion of the NSA’s powers domestically.” (read more)

[Biden publicly claims Kamala Harris in charge of “Border Crisis, but] now Kammy isn’t the border gal … but she’s doing the diplomat stuff with south of the border governments. She gets cred for that while fully insulated from the crisis that Biden won’t have to answer for in any way except preapproved questions….have to give the WH team credit for creating a perfectly bubbled environment around jumbled Joe. It’s so perfect why change it? With Joe at the helm, the WH can claim credit and deny responsibility with zero media pushback…couldn’t do that with Harris in charge. She is universally unlikeable, and so blatantly phony that her campaign couldn’t raise money….. Sometimes it is difficult to bite your tongue and not respond negatively to the manipulative public positioning of well known sanctimonious hypocrites.  Today, as I watched this interview with Senator Ted Cruz, my prayers were for grace amid the face the stunning & historical hypocrisy.

You see, there’s a problem with Cruz’s current position of advocacy regarding the southern border crisis… a position he must first reconcile before any credibility can be given to any statements.  Back in 2014 Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck and Dana Loesch attacked anyone who challenged them on their ridiculous public spectacle at the U.S. southern border; during their Teddy Bears and Soccer Balls tour.  More on that in a moment….

I swear after a decade of this doofus I never wanted to write the name John Boehner again.  Alas, the the cocktail party republican poster child resurfaces in support of House republican Anthony Gonzalez who voted to impeach President Trump.

Meanwhile President Trump is supporting Gonzalez’ primary challenger, Max Miller.  It doesn’t take a political deep thinker to know who is going to win this battle in the Buckeye state.

Yesterday Kamala Harris rebuked the effort of Joe Biden to put her in charge of the collapsing border crisis he created.  Harris said through her spokesperson Symone Sanders: ““I will just reiterate that the VP is not doing the border. The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic efforts with Mexico and countries of the North Triangle to address the root causes of migration.””  Apparently, even Kamala Harris isn’t stupid enough to take responsibility for a problem that is getting worse.

Today in McAllen, Texas, the Biden team were flying illegal aliens to other locations in order to reduce the overcrowding.  According to OAN journalist Jenn Peligrino: “Approx 40% of the airport traffic this morning at Texas’ McAllen International appear to be migrants headed within the US. They are carrying boarding passes & paperwork that indicates they do not speak English.”

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The federal government announced last week that the Biden administration would use the San Diego Convention Center to house migrant minors from across the U.S.-Mexico border.  Buses of children are expected to arrive in San Diego starting today. (link)

Meanwhile on the receiving end, the Biden administration has removed the regulation requiring background checks for those who take custody of unaccompanied minor children as DHS starts allowing emergency contractors to step-in and take over.

Apparently the creation of the DOJ’s politically convenient “domestic extremist” narrative is starting to come under scrutiny.  After several federal judges initially granted the DOJ the benefit of doubt for their outlandish conspiratorial claims, now with judges ordering the targets to be released the media are catching on.

The 2021 political prosecutions against the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys are essentially akin to former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s 2018 indictments -on behalf of Mueller/Weissmann- for mysterious Russian operatives that never surfaced and were never prosecuted.

As a result, the conspiracy to engage in sedition is to 2021 as the conspiracy to interfere in the Clinton v Trump election was to 2016 (via Facebook memes).

The Associated Press now recognizes something is sketchy about the DOJ shift.  Somebody might possibly do something, at some place, in relation to something discussed with someone about some time; thus people were arrested for thought crimes.  However, the DOJ cannot show who the somebodies, something or sometime were all about.
