In an appearance to promote the upcoming season of his HBO talk show, liberal commentator Bill Maher slammed politically-correct liberals for not truly standing up for free speech in the aftermath of the attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices. Maher referred to the aforementioned liberals as a “pussy nation,” adding that they must stand up for their principles.

You won’t hear about this in the MSM, not because it’s not historic and not because it’s not intensely important, but rather because Fattah El Sisi is a genuine “moderate Muslim” leader – and the Obama administration hate him. 
The U.S. administration loathe him – Because el Sisi took down their man Mohammed Morsi, the now jailed leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and former extremist President of Egypt.
President Obama despises Fattah el-Sisi.  Obama never called him to congratulate him on his massive election victory;  President Obama and John Kerry were furious that el-Sisi stood up and supported Benjamin Netanyahu, and pressured Hamas to concessions and peace, then el-Sisi began destroying the Sinai terror tunnels to Gaza.  El Sisi retains a massive 82%+ approval rating in Egypt.

The Coptic Church celebrates Christmas on 7 January because of its use of the Julian calendar instead of the Gregorian. It was the first time ever that an Egyptian President was honoring a Coptic Christmas celebration with his presence.

French police officials have identified three men as suspects in the deadly terror attack at the Paris offices of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper.

One of the men, 35-year-old Cheriff Kouachi, was convicted on terrorism charges in 2008.
Two of the suspects, brothers Cheriff and Said Kouachi, 32, are French nationals who were born to Algerian parents in Paris. The nationality of a third man, Hamid Mourad, 18, is unknown; police believe he is a high school student. (more…)

(Daily Mail) Four of France’s most revered cartoonists – Stephane Charbonnier, Georges Wolinski, Bernard ‘Tignous’ Verlhac and Jean Cabut – were among 12 people executed by masked gunmen in Paris today at the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

Two masked men brandishing Kalashnikovs burst into the magazine’s headquarters this morning, opening fire on staff, also shooting dead contributor Bernard Maris, 68.
Police officers were involved in a gunfight with the ‘calm and highly disciplined men’, who escaped in a hijacked car, speeding away towards east Paris. (more…)

Mayor De Blasio declared 2014 a victory for reducing serious crime throughout New York City. However, what he didn’t say was that serious crime has skyrocketed since December 8th, when De Blasio declared his allegiance to, and support for, the FTP movement:

LVMPD Homicide Lieutenant Ray Steiber is urgently seeking the public’s assistance to catch a vicious killer.

On January 3, 2015, at approximately 5:57 a.m., the LVMPD dispatch center received a call of a female who appeared to be injured behind a business in the 3300 block of South Nellis Boulevard. Responding police and medical personnel located the female victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim appeared to have suffered from unknown trauma.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that the female victim was behind the business when she was approached by an unknown suspect. It appears that the suspect attacked the victim, and then fled the area before officers’ arrival. (more)

Two New York police officers where shot yesterday. Given the heightened sense of concern stemming from the “FTP” movement assassinations, many people are wondering if these shootings are related. The shootings do not appear related:
New York […] The unidentified officers were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where they are in critical but stable condition, and are expected to recover, the NYPD said.
The anti-crime officers, who were in plain clothes, were part of a group of five officers who were responding to a call about a robbery at a grocery store on East 180th Street in the Bronx, Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said.
The officers were approaching two suspects who had just entered a nearby restaurant when one of the suspects opened fire, Bratton said. The officers returned fire and two of them were wounded.
[…] Bratton said the two suspects fled on foot to Marion Avenue, where they carjacked a white Camaro from two women. Shortly after, they abandoned the car and continued to flee on foot, police said. INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis police were responding to reports of multiple fights and gunshots at Castleton Square Mall Saturday evening.

IMPD dispatch confirmed the incident, but said few details were available.
Tony Katz, host of The Morning News on RTV6’s newsgathering partner WIBC, was at the AMC Theater in Castleton at the time and described the scene:

“I was in the Hunger Games, the 6:20 showing, so it was well into the movie. No one heard any gunshots. A man with a baby had gone outside of the theater, and then he came back and said, ‘I don’t know what is going on, but people are screaming and heading this way.’ So everybody got up and headed toward the exits.” (more…)
