Today, in Minnesota, St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez was found not guilty of all counts in the fatal shooting of Philando Castile.

Dr. Jack Sava of MedStar Washington Hospital Center provides an update on the medical condition of House Majority Whip Congressman Steve Scalise. Upon arrival at the hospital Mr. Scalise was in “critical condition with imminent risk of death”.

Representative Steve Scalise had numerous surgeries to stem bleeding and initial damage to internal organs, arteries and blood vessels. Mr. Scalise vital signs have now stabilized. More surgical procedures are anticipated.

While the overall medical outlook is better today than 48 hours ago, Mr. Scalise remains in critical condition within the intensive care unit at MedStar Washington.

Tonight the members of Congress take part in this year’s Congressional Baseball Game for charity at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.   This years game takes on an added dimension following the hate-filled shooting of the Republican players during practice yesterday morning by a rabid left-wing Bernie Sanders campaign worker.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise underwent a third surgery this morning following his shooting injury sustained at the Republican baseball team’s practice in Alexandria, VA. Doctors at MedStar Washington Hospital Center said the Louisiana Republican remained in critical condition, and they began a third operation.

According to medical professionals multiple surgeries in this context are not unusual. There are multiple vital organs in the pathway of the bullet and surgeons are often checking to ensure prior procedures to repair damage are holding.  Rep. Scalise faces a long path of treatment and recovery ahead and remains in critical condition.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen visited the Scalise family at the hospital Thursday morning, but did not provide additional information about his condition.

Texas Representative Roger Williams is the third base coach for the GOP congressional baseball team.  Williams was hitting practice grounders to the infield when the Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer, James Hodgkison, opened fire on the team from behind the third base dugout.

Last week Senator Bernie Sanders appeared at an event in Illinois called the “People’s Summit”, a convention in Chicago, where he called for his supporters to rise up and take over the Democrat party.  Senator Sanders called on his supporters to move the party and “fight for social and economic justice,” and to “take down President Trump.”

James Hodgkison was also a resident of Illinois and traveled to Washington DC in order to assassinate Republican politicians.  It is unknown if he attended The People’s Summit the week earlier.  However, he opened fire on a group of republican congressman who were part of a baseball team during early morning practice on June 14th.

Facing the growing possibility of customer backlash Delta Airlines and Bank of America have ended their corporate sponsorship of a New York play portraying of Julius Caesar as a Donald Trump, who gets knifed to death on stage in the performance.

U.S. media, journalists and left-wing activists are furious at their decision to end funding. Meanwhile, The New York Times, another corporate sponsor, remains proud in their support for political violence.

NEW YORK – Delta Air Lines and Bank of America have announced that they are pulling their sponsorship of a Manhattan-based theater company’s portrayal of Julius Caesar as a Donald Trump look-alike in a business suit who gets knifed to death on stage.
